I didn't realise until my tutor told me off for using American formatting either, if it's any comfort.

Internet formatting is immensely annoying, but there's naught to be done about it. Well, if I get to the point where I'm good enough to have editions outside the UK, I'd say that's a very good thing!
Even so, it has been really helpful to see what you think, and I'll definitely take pretty much everything you say into account.

I wouldn't say so. The way the hair frames her chin does change its shape at first glance, in the line drawing, but once it's coloured and immediately obvious what everything is, I'm sure it wouldn't at all.
