"I don't know those details, but If that is a place to start I'll go there. Which way is it, and any precautions before I go there beyond just wearing the amulet." Sorrow was already around the table and edging for the door, just hanging in the room long enough to get the information it seemed.

Sorrow threw her coat on; 'The only other option to finding her would be asking Toole himself about her habits, and the way she died. I can't exactly do that while i'm here, and he's not really keen to dragging up that past either unless you have a damn good reason." Sorrow paced a bit thinking; "It fits the timeline, I was born a year n half before her, Toole 6 months after her, and so that means my father was either double married which is unthinkable. Or my mother was already dead, but Merril couldn't have given the order until she became a mistress, so it had to happen after merril killed her."

Sorrow stopped cold in her tracks; "Unless Merril didn't know at the time, and my mother was one of those she named to become mistress with her." Sorrow started pacing again trying to think her logic through before undertaking something that could ultimately displease her host."

Sorrow sighed leaning into him resting her forehead on his shoulder. "Every lighting demon goes into battle with their soul set for death, at least that is what smuggled documents say of their beliefs, and if my mother was a mistress of a lighting demon tribe then she would be here."

Sorrow leaned back up; "I'm sorry, that was rude of me, i have all this time to recconect with the pieces of my past that I never spent much time with. Its like the second chance you spoke earlier of, I'm not even dead yet but i have such wonderful chance to get answers, and yet here I am stuck on an Island with only questions."

Sorrow unbuttoned her coat and slid it off; "I'm sorry to have rushed you out here, and if we went you're right again. You'd be the only one coming back from there." Sorrow turned and walked back to the door of the house, she hung up her coat and went straight to her room.

She laid on the bed and turning on her side with her back tot he door she hid her face int he pillow and cried.

Sorrow sat up drying her tears off with the sheet and took a few deep breaths to try and hide the raspy sound from her dry throat.

"Come in." It was nothing like her normal voice.

"The pieces are spread to thin, and i've already asked to much of you the way it is now. I shouldn't be doing all this to begin with, I've wasted my life searching for something that never existed and seeking revenge based on lie. Coming here has caused me more pain then had I stayed ignorant and let the abyss kill Merril. However if it means anything now i remember the name of the dragon. Her name was Quannah."

Sorrow smiled weakly; "I would like to learn how, and perhaps you can teach me how to break barriers too. I know it may be out of my leauge, but I would like to know how. Swords are useless against barriers, and you can't buy a barrier breaking enchantment that lasts for very long or is effective against strong barriers such as yours."

Sorrow squeezed his hand; "Thank you Koas..." Sorrow leaned over and gave him a soft kiss on the cheek. "I can help in the kitchen if you would like the company."

Sorrow closed her eyes and concentrated on doing what he asked. She hoped this section of the island was the part that curved back and not outward of the ledge. She could fly, but not if she was rolling down the face the island first.

When she felt like she had it right she opened her eyes; 'What next?" after she asked she went back to concentrating on keeping the energy there.

Sorrow felt nowhere close to floating, and she closed her eyes and concentrated really hard. She flet like there was enough energy in her feet for them to catch on fire. She went to shift her stance, and her feet moved a bit, and she noticed then she was lighter then normal and she about lost her balance. He body weaving all over, the pressure on Koas hand as she tried to steady herself. That and coupled with a sudden deathgrip in case she feel the wrong way.

Now she was breathing hard, and notied she was back to nearly square one. "grrr....." Sorrow furrowed her brow in concentration, when she got back tot he point where she thought her feet were gonna catch on fire she held her breath and took the step up using Koas arm to pull a bit. She held the concentration but opened her eyes to thin slits. He she was one step over the edge. She closed her eyes and prayed while she held the concentration.
