'Ahw 'bahwt ah pihck theh nehxt taihme?" Arch opened the door part ways, moving through it quickly, smiling as he glanced up at the sky.

"Then you geta pick next time, but now we're headin' towards the grassy place over there. Looks like it overhangs the ocean. Should make a fabulous view." Ruby gave a quick nod. "An' sug, I never mind sharin' some of my liveliness, if you're interested." Ruby twirled around a few times, as she looked up at the starry sky, making the world a kaleidescope just for fun. She stopped twirling and started walking, albeit in a very drunk-like fashion due to the spinning.

Arch moved closer, to catch her in case she fell after her little tilt-a-whirl.
"Donnah beh doihn' thaht neah theh clihf, dahwlihn. Ah donna whahn' 'ahve tah daihve fehr yeh." Arch said with a chuckle, walking along with her, carrying the food.

Ruby soon gathered herself enough to walk straight. "...An' I don't want you gettin' bored of me. Like you said, it's been a while since you've been excited 'bout somethin'." She glanced back at him, something in her eyes moved, like rolling gray clouds before a storm. "An' that includes me." She turned to him, and in a quick moment embraced him. Her face pressed against his chest and collarbone, and her arms tightened around him like he was the last anchor in her life. Just as quickly she pulled herself away from him, and without another word, took off running towards the grassy area.

"Yeh aihn't ah 'sohmethihn', dahlihn." He murmured, having intended to tell her that when she was hugging him, but she ran off, and was out of ear shot. He shook his head, smiling slightly, and took off running after her.

Ruby ran to edge of the grassy edge and stopped. She sat down on the ground with her back to Arch, and her feet dangling over the edge. She sipped her rootbeer and looked out over the ocean, the stars reflecting back on the glassy surface, like the sky was staring into a mirror, admiring it's own beauty.

Ruby St.Claire Ruby ran to edge of the grassy edge and stopped. She sat down on the ground with her back to Arch, and her feet dangling over the edge. She sipped her rootbeer and looked out over the ocean, the stars reflecting back on the glassy surface, like the sky was staring into a mirror, admiring it's own beauty. Arch slowed down as he approached her. He sat the bag of food down next to her, sitting with it in between them. He dug out his food, spreading a good deal of fire sauce on it. "Fahnceh naight."

Ruby didn't bother answering him, but slurped a bit more of her root beer. She didn't have anything left to say, and sometimes silence summed things up nicely.
She glanced up at the stars and counted a few of them up in her head. Then connected them into pictures, giving them names, and a story. She quietly reached into the bag and took out her nachos, nibbling on one chip like a mouse.

"I dunno, I was just runnin'. I've been in one place for a decently long time, I was gettin' restless, an' for while figured there was no more reason for me to stay in Haven." Ruby shrugged, still staring out at the stars. "I told Bobby I was thinkin' Canada, never been to Canada."

Ruby nodded, she pulled her knees up to her chest and hugged them, abandoning her food after a moment. "I'm sure there's a group of supers in most places. Don't matter though, if there aren't."

Ruby shook her head. "People're better than that, I know it don't seem like it a lot of the time but we learn from our mistakes. They'll all know soon enough it was a mistake, an' try to fix it. Won't be a war, can't be a war...an' I'm about five seconds from tellin' an angel to have a little faith."
She finally turned to glance at him. "So why're you out here? Just to come lookin' for me?"
