The alarm beeped on as Maddy turned to Alex and he picked up the computer, making his reply short and sweet.
That's not fair.
Surprised at the expression on her face, Alex spoke almost immediately. "Why do you want to know what I thought? It doesn't matter..." Sighing, he put his head on the pillow and slowed his breathing, waiting for a response from both Maddy and the laptop.

Maddy rolled her eye's and grabbed her laptop setting it on Alex's chest she laid down and started typing. Squishy... She hit send. That one word alone would tip him off. "I think I'm gonna go for a walk.." Maddy set her laptop down and grabbed her key. Stuffing it in her pocket she made her way to the door, looking back at Alex. She quickly ran out the door and to the pool. He probably wouldn't think that a walk insited on her sitting at the edge of the pool with ehr feet in the water.

Surprised when Maddy set the computer on his chest. Ales said. "Ummmm..." But than another e-mail came up on his computer and he opened it. As he read the one word, his eyes narrowed and he marched out of the room trying to find Maddy. "Damn... Where did she go?!" Walking down the many hallways of the hotel, it never occured to him to check the pool.

Maddy sighed, taking a pool towel she dried her legs figuring that it'd be safe to go back. It had probably been safe all along. She liked him and he probaby didn't like her. Like msot guy's she had a feeling he'd try and ignor her feelings. Just to see if they'd go away. Then again Alex was diffrent. Maddy smirked as she saw Alex. "Why do i get the feeling you forgot your key again.." She smiled slightly hoping he was going to just act like there emails never happend. She walked to there room and put the latch on she handed him her key.

"Maddy..." Alex shook his head, trying to clear it, she had messed up his clearly-defined world, blurred the edges of the walls he had built so carefully around himself. "You weren't joking, were you?" He walked into the room and sat on his bed, sighing. "You said you wanted to know what I was thinking, I was thinking the same thing as you..." He didn't no why he revealed himself to her... he just did.

Maddy blushed a bright red. "No i wasn't jokin, and I'm sorry if it was sud-" Maddy's jaw dropped slightly and her eye's widend.. She blushed and quickly closed her mouth. "Oh, wow really.." She wasn't asking him a qustion. She walked slowly over to him. She gently touched his face, kissing his lips softly she pulled back and bit her lip. Retreating to the bathoom, she sat ont he floor affraid of his reaction,

Alex was indeed surprised by the kiss, if not slightly pleased. As his face turned red again she walked away, afraid he had done something wrong, he looked up in alarm. "Maddy...? What's wrong?" Getting up and walking to the bathroom, he sat down next to her. "I'm sorry..." He mumbled.

Maddy smiled and leaned agains't Alex. "Hi Squishy.." She mused as she truend and hugged him. "Why are you sorry. You didn't do anythign wrong.." She looked at him, a puzzled expression on her face.

Now it was Alex's turn to look puzzled. "Then why did you go away?" As she leaned against him, he kissed the top of her head, hoping he wasn't going to far.

Maddy smiled, it came out as more of a grin. She put her head agains't his chest and sighed. "I was nervous, and I was kind of affraid of how you'd react to me kissing you.." She blushed and the smiled as she noticed her lips were pale and his were black"Well that's a nice way to apply lip stick..".

Alex just smiled and wrapped his arms around her. "Hey, what about lipstick?" Looking up in the mirror, he grinned at his new look. "I like it."

Maddy smiled slightly. Handing Alex he rlip stick she smiled. "It looks good on you." Maddy sighed and got to her feet. "What shall we go now Squishy?"

"No,but I'll go with you if your hungry.." Maddy smiled as she slipped the lipstick out of his back pocket. "I don't think so love, I'll get you your own. " Maddy rolled her eye's and upcapped it. Lining then coloring in his lips. She grinned, grabbing her room key she came back to admire her work. "You really do look cute, if I do say so myself.."

"Ok, now that I'm 'cute', let's go!" Alex grabbed Maddy's hand and pulled her out into the lobby, then out into his car before he realized something. "Wait... Where do you want to go?" He had no idea what was around, so hoping Maddy did he had asked her.
