Class had started, and Kanna lead Tsukune to the edge of the other students and waited for the coach to tell them what to do.

The coach walked to the center of the gym. "Today we are going to go over the basic rules and requirements of Youkai Academy Gym. After that we will vote from two possible choices on what to do for the rest of this period. I will tell you the choices at the proper time. For now everyone meet in the center of the room." The man said rather strictly and motioned for the students to come to him. Tsukune was rather reluctant but started walking slowly towards the coach.

Kanna followed Tsukune. She noticed he was nervous. "Don't worry. It isn't that bad the first day." She whispered to him.

"Thats not exactly why I'm so nervous." He whispered almost silently as he walked towards the coach ever more slowly.

Kanna heard him, but didn't pry. She followed him to where the other creatures were. She stayed off to the side, not wanting to draw attention towards her. A few of the creatures there eyed her evilly, and she tried to ignore them.

When everyone had reached the center of the gym then the coach began going over rules and "expectations" step by step very boringly.

Kanna already know what the rules were, so she didn't need to pay that much attention to the coach, but she pretended she did so that she wouldn't make eye contact with any of the creatures staring at her.

Eventually the lecture ended and the coach gave them choices on what to do. Since it was the first day they were games. The choices were soccer or badmitten and Tsukune voted for soccer.

As the whistle blew Tsukune found himself on offense. The guy at the kickoff passed to him. With lightning speed Tsukune stopped the ball and began running with it. Then out of nowhere a big guy with evil looking eyes went for the ball. Tsukune buckled under the pressure and passed to the first person near him that came to mind, Kanna.

Kanna saw Tsukune pass her the ball. She was wondering why he was slower then the rest. She shook that thought out of her head and got the ball. She ran fast and easily past and around everyone. She kicked the ball hard and it went past the goalie and into the net. She ran back to Tsukune, aware that the guy who had been chasing Tsukune was staring at her. "Shoot." She said.

Tsukune was shivering. He had nothing to fear if the coach was there, right? Or would the coach transform and eat him, or whatever monsters like to do to humans who are in their grasps. He looked over at Kanna, "he-hey, nice shot there. You're a Natural..." He said trying to stop shuddering.

"Thanks. I used to play many sports a few years ago." She said helping him stand. "Are you ok?" She asked. She figured he was somesort of slow monster, unlike her.

"Um...yeah. I'm just uhh...not feeling very well today." Tsukune said trying to act normal and not reveal that he wasn't actually a monster.
