[Good thing Murphy has no tolerence for alcohol, which, by the way, the White Rabbit suffers from as well. -winkwink-]
Murphy grimaced. "It's worse than the stuff I have to drink during the ritual," he muttered, taking another sip and near spitting it back out onto the cat but managing to swallow it anyway. On a second thought, it would have been easier to just spit on the cat and grab his medallion and make a break for the temple . . .
"You'll love him sweetheart," Kristen said, examining her nails, smirking.

(( AH MY GAWD. Kristen's a b***h. Time for Plan-A; b***h-SLAP! ))
Cass shot up, literally shaking with anger. "Y-you... you..." She could barely bring herself to hurt a kid... but that was... argh! She pulled back a hand, and slapped the girl, still quivering as she ran off to the woods, towards the road again.
Damian had half stood when Cass had slapped Kristen, incredulous. "Holy... I don't think I've ever seen her do that before." He looked at Kristen, indecipherable. "You alright?"
Kiyoshi looked at the pair in awe. They were drunkards! Maybe he should just go back. He really should. What if they took him into an alley and beat him and did horrible things to him? That's what the other boy's told him would happen if he approached men like these.

"How would you know?" Youko raised an eyebrow. "I'm fairly certain that this is the first time we have had the pleasure of meeting one-another."
"Really?" Michael blinked. "But mead is sweet." A slow smile worked it's way onto his features. "You don't have a tolerance for alcohol, do you?"

The Midget "How would you know?" Youko raised an eyebrow. "I'm fairly certain that this is the first time we have had the pleasure of meeting one-another." "Really?" Michael blinked. "But mead is sweet." A slow smile worked it's way onto his features. "You don't have a tolerance for alcohol, do you?" [-gigglesnort-] Bzzzzt! Flame shot from Kristen's pointer finger as she glared after Cass. Perhaps that would teach the naive girl to not mess with a goddess. She smirked at Youko. "Because a goddess notorious for her relationships knows all about that," she purred. Oh, being in a body was so much fun! She'd almost forgotten.Murphy glared at Michael. "I prefer savory things," he said, avoiding the subject. If that damned horny cat found out he couldn't hold down alcohol . . .

"Right." Michael smirked at Murphy from over his own mug. "You won't get the medallion back until you drink the whole mug, just so you know."

Unthinking, Hanuel stuck her arms out, diverting most of the flames away from the oblivious Cass. She fell to her knees, biting her lip. She was supposed to just keep everyone from knowing about this portal- that's what papa had told her! Why did she go and do that? Oh, gods, her hands stung. Hanuel refused to look at her arms, instead staring at the sky.

Kiyoshi gasped audibly, too enraptured by the scene to tear his eyes away and run. These must be gang-members! He'd never met one, but this was what he heard they did. They were crazy! What would he do if one of them looked at him and decided to kidnap him or something?

Yeliab: Perhaps. However, I think my priest needs to learn that mayhaps I am not all that is.

Murphy fell into the kiss, not pushing back, mind you, but he quit struggling.Kristen tipped her head to the side, curious. "A sign for what?"

Kristen nodded wisely. "Ah. That makes sense. Will you also put up a sign for your services?" she teased. She, as Xela, did not notice that her perfect tom cat left her.
Murphy's stomach, quite literally, did a backflip. Right as his heart decided to fly up into his brain which dropped about a foot or so. His slid his hands up Michael's chest, carefully reaching up to brush his fingers against Michael's jaw line as he awkwardly kissed back. He awkwardly placed his free hand on Michael's chest, unsure of where exacly to put it.
