My parents don't know yet. (Or I don't think they do. sweatdrop ) I feel pretty dumb for not telling them, since I've known for half a year and I know they'll be perfectly fine with it. But it makes me anxious anyway, so I keep putting it off. But I need to make it happen within the next month or so!

If you're certain that they'll be fine with it, then just take your time and give yourself a chance to process things as well. Once you come out, you'll be doing it for the rest of your life. It's a big step. 3nodding

WiccanJoe Dark Eagle Babe Since about a week my whole family knows 3nodding
I'm damn proud of you, Love. I'm glad that everything turned out as great as it did. *smooch* 3nodding
It's just a bit difficult on me that I never had the chance to tell my mother...
*sighs*
Though I think she already knew...

I can understand why that would be difficult on you. You and I both know that she's looking in on you everyday. She can see who you've grown to be and that you've turned out damn special. She knows. ^^

Mine don't, and it's going to stay like that for a while.
Basically, my entire family (as in brothers, aunts, uncles, etc.) are all very homophobic, with the exception of a few.
If it were just those people, I wouldn't care who knew, but there's my parents too. They're strong Christians, my dad especially, and they never have anything good to say about the subject of homosexuality. I think I can wait until I'm legally an adult to tell them, because I'm very dependant on them, and if they do anything rash like... say throw me out of the house, I'll be how you say, screwed.
But yeah. The only person who does know is my best friend, and she was totally accepting and fine when I told her about it. The first thing she said to me was that she was going to take me shopping. Haha..

My family knows. No one expected it either. I went to Utah pride pirade 2003 (second biggest pirade in utah). After seeing the thousands of people like me, I told my mom. *sigh*my mom was sad about not getting to be a grandmother, but she was okay with it. The next thing I know she was calling every family member I have to tell them. gonk My dad said he'd buy me a stripper.
But it is still hard. I've moved since then(it was two years ago) and I'm moving agian in about two weeks. Every new school I go to and every new person I meet I have to decide whether to tell them right away, or to let them get to know me. Coming out is a life-long process.

yeah my mom pulled me out of the closet, and pretty ******** randomly at that. But she's cool with it even though she worries about me a lot and won't let just 1 guy spend the night anymore, it has to be a crowd. Well, it's not that bad, but i haven't seen my boyfriend in six months...so that really sucks.

yeah, my family knows. They totally and fully support me. I guess that I'm one of the lucky ones, because right from the start my family has supported me. My dad is the only one that I've received hostility form. However, he has not been in my life for... well, he hasn't even been here for half of it. I consider my moms boyfriend my real dad, because he's actually there for me. He's really cool.

I wish my parents and siblings would be more understanding.
