I have just learned that at the end of June, and for all the month of July, the joy of a cramped class schedule with the most demanding instructors in school are mine! Yay! Any appearance I make here during that time will likely be accompanied with zombie groans, slack jaws and other signs of mindlessness.

Hey all...
I might be out of commission for a while. I'm having a lot of trouble with anxiety, and I think I'm making myself ill. I'm not sure why this chose to happen now, but it's happened.
Hopefully I'll be back to roleplaying soon.
Sorry about this, Eclavice and Quen and everyone else I've been roleplaying with.

I think I'm ready to get back to posting...but things still aren't great with me. I feel like I've just been bitching to everyone all the time, but now I actually have something legitimate to be upset about.
My cat, Simba, who I raised since he was about 10 weeks old, died this morning in the animal hospital. He was only about 6 years old. His liver ceased to function -- we don't know why, but it wasn't anything my other cat could catch. We think it might have been some sort of cancer or disease to which he was genetically predisposed (we don't know his history because he was a rescued/feral kitten...where exactly he came from is uncertain) I'm very upset by this loss, and I think my other cat, Nala, will be upset at the loss of her friend as well. I cried all my tears while he was still in the hospital...so now I just have to move on. But it's difficult. Losing a pet is really a terrible experience, especially if they're not old and it wasn't their time to go.
I pray to whatever deities there are that his soul finds peace, or (if there is such a thing as reincarnation) that in his next life he will bring joy to people as he has brought joy to me.
Sorry to upset anyone, but if I suddenly stop posting, or I seem a little weird or sensitive...this is why.

I have three cats, and I am thankful they lead healthy lives, but eventually we all have to confront loss... I will eventually lose them. I believe even cats go somewhere that might be construed as a sort of heaven when they depart (not to offend any atheists, but I think it's a comforting thought).
