Ilisia watched the boy and Rayne. She saw Jada and whispered worriedly, "Bloodblade's coming. That boy isn't with them, but they must be tracking him. They are a society of the most powerful Half-Elfs in all the world. I was rejected because my magic isn't very strong, and I can only work defensively. If we want to survive, we need to get out before the massacre happens."
Ilisiai turned to Herana and sighed. "If you have any information, we need it now."
She looked warily at Rayne. She whispered to the wind, "Just be safe. We need every person alive that we can spare if Bloodblade is to come."

Ilisia rolled her eyes. Humans. What's it going to take to get it through their thick skulls that they aren't the center of the universe. "Your mental vibrations are those of a human's. Bloodblade is an organization that currently wants to control this nation. I should know. I tried to join once."

Rayne couldn't control her hand, she was too exasperated. She smacked her forehead with a loud crack. "I can't believe you guys are going to argue over a small detail." She pulled her hand away and sighed. "Why would I have to be worried of Bloodblade?"

Rayne turned to the guy. "I don't know your name, but I'm pretty sure lugging around that corpse won't help your unnamed reputation." She poked his shoulder. "Come on. We're gonna go give your friend his proper grave before he attracts maggots and crows."

Ilisia sighed exasperatedly. She said under her breath angrily, "I never said you were human, only that your mental vibrations are those of a human's!" She looked at the poor corpse and sighed. She walked up and put a palm on his forehead. "Dromia coue mita noder luwt. Hetla stroan mel uet kel naur." She whispered in elfish. May the spirits rest your soul. Go to your final destination in peace.
She looked up at Rayne and said, "You may be an elf and therefore inpenetrable by Bloodblade, but you still bleed red blood and the Half-Elfs will insist on making you remember that. To amuse themselves, they made me take initiation before telling me that my magic was not strong enough. Initiation is cutting your arms and bleeding, then torturing humans through mind-control. I don't have scars because I healed myself. It was torture though. My magic was barely enough."

Ilisia took a deep breath and stared hard at Hunter. "We need to get this body buried. Unless either of you wants torture, you'll hurry up." She pulled out a dagger and started tracing the ground with a larger circle. "We need to dig here. The ground is accepting here. The other places don't want a body. Only here...."
