Korune rolled to her feet and nuzzled Celeste who sleepily followed her mother. They followed Noctus. "I hope they don't find us."she whispered sticking close to her mate and child.

Noctus nuzzled Korune. "They won't don't worry." He made sure to keep his voice low enough so that only she could hear. His ears flicked rapidly searching for any strange sound.

Rin's nostrils flared as she followed Gildas. The shadows flickered and changed makeing the high strung mare nervous. She snorted loudly, shying away from shadows and bumping into Gildas.

Something caught Rin's attention. She broke away from the group and sped up racing towards it, with her head and tail held high. She had doubled back and slowed down as she neared the forest. She dropped her head and nosed the ground then sneezed. Something was hiding in the forest behind them and she had no idea that the creatures would cause them harm.

Rin snorted and reared, more at Gildas than anything. A shuffling and a snapping twig came from the forest. She backed away from the forest, the creatures getting closer. "What are they?" She pinned her ears and flared her nostrils trying to catch the creatures scent.

*Gildas couldent see any creatures Rin talked of. He couldent smell them or hear them, could they be man?? He feared the worst yet charged, his head held low and his deadly horns pointing the way.*

((What are they? Could you explain it a bit more??))

((Just to let you know, the men here arent pale at all they're of a different race, not caucasion. They have dark brown hair and don't speak english, they hardly speak at all. Their skin is pale for their race since they stay indoors nearly all the time.))

*Gildas had seen this too many times before, he bucked and bucked and spun around, rearing and knocking one down. Man was savage and outnumbered the two mythical beings. He touched back down and bucked, then leapt and landed on a man, crushing his ribs and the man soon silenced. He leapt again, landing on another man, crushing his pelvis and again, crushing another man's head. Gildas was a big horse, a very big and heavy horse, he could kill with ease but if they managed a few ropes on his head he was gone. He swung his head around violently, stabbing one man and grazing the neck of another, just missing his throat by a few inches. He kicked but there was nobody behind him now, reared but men had moves to his sides. A rope landed on his neck and a man tightened it, comming in closer. Gildas reared, his powerful neck yanking the rope from the man's hands. Suddenly many of them ran silently in the other direction, towards the mansion, rope in hand. A few lingered by but not much match against a one ton horse. While Gildas and Rin fought off the humans, farther away another creature did the same.*

*A mysterious black stallion reared, whinnying with a raspy, old voice. He reared high up, spreading his dragon-like wings and a few of the men backed off a few steps, a knife in a few of their hands. Lunging, one man gouged a knife into the black stallion's shoulder, at the base of his neck. He screamed out of pain in a loud, horrifying whinny and then blew a great flame, unlike anything the men had ever seen before. Many were torched and burned, dying instantly from suffocation and extreme burns, the man with the knife pulled it out and prepared to stab again before he was knocked unconcious by the stallions great hoof. He was equally as big as Gildas, and even more bulky in the chest. He blew another great, hot flame, burning the canopy above into ashes and the grass below to black stringy blades. The fire did not burn well after released from his body, but was hot enough to kill and destroy. The last man before the stallion died with a blood curdling scream of pain and then the stallion trotted deeper into the forest, the scent of other horses and possibly a challenge for some mares.*

*The black stallion walked, his tail held high from the high rush killing caused, and soon came to see two figures. One the same size as he, and one other..Glowing like the stars themselves. He blew a small flame gently, lighting the forest up a bit. The two figured revealed themselves to be a spotted stallion and a dark mare. He strayed and kept his distance from the stallion, but eagerly sniffed the mare, looking for signs of being in heat.*

*Gildas snorted and turned to the black stallion, shaking his head in a way that motioned stabbing and trying to ward off this old casanova kind of stallion.*

Watch yourself...You wouldent want to rub off on a stallion my size the wrong way.

*The black stallion turned to face Gildas, they measured up the same, though the black stallion was nearly 500 lbs lighter, his bones hollow for flight.*

It looks to me as if we're the same height...Though I-

*The black stallion looked about at the gored men who had bled to death, gaping holes in their chests and the few with smashed bodies and heads, it was a horrible sight.*
