I smirked, closing my eyes and nuzzling into Teddy's hair. "Yes," I said. "They're muddling everything about me." Perhaps the display of affection would seem unsightly to most, but it was the freaking District. Nothing was unsightly, except for full-fledges sex. That was done in the alleyways. "Just... get him a... room or something...." Huh? What was going on? All I could focus on was Teddy's intoxicating smell.

Sam sighed. "The collapsed stranger would recoil violently if an unknown woman kept him at her home. You can break from the boy for a few seconds to just shove him into a nearby room..."

I sighed heavily, reluctantly - somehow - releasing my grip on Teddy. "Oh, fine," I said, picking up Mark and slinging him over my shoulders. "I'll be right back." I walked to the receptionist and asked her for a room with one queen-sized bed. She nodded and gave me a key, and I gave her the proper payment. I climbed the stairs to the fourth floor and unlocked the door, carrying Mark to the bed and setting him down. I left the key on the bedside table and closed the door behind me, leaving the room in darkness.
"Sorry about that," I said as I bounded out of Danse Macabre, back to Teddy's side, resuming the position I had left.

Pheromones, huh? Good old biology; right now Teddy loved it. Markus had barely taken eyes off of him since they first met. Even shy, closeted Teddy couldn't resist that kind of attention. Besides, unlike Sam he wasn't really celibate by choice. Though he had to admit he never even considered a one night stand with a stranger in the District, of all places. Or anywhere, really. He had a fairly uptight upbringing; but then again, no one had ever actually tried to seduce him before either. It was easy to resist when there was no temptation.

I smiled, "Men..." i said shaking my head and looked back to Sam, "You know, I can give you a couple of names of guys that have tried repeatedly, Mac has kept them at bay, but they just don't seem to be giving up..."

The blush that crept up into Teddy's features only excited me more. However, Kit's mention of a strange name caught my attention. "Mac?" I said, glancing at her, half-dazed. It was all I could do not to sink fangs in Teddy. I'd have to wait till later. When he would confused the pain with pleasure... even though humans did find it pleasureable... usually..

Sam nodded. "I would appreciate it. If I leech out their desires in one fell swoop, they should return as customers, but not as a threat." Sam was obviously thinking about something. "Miss Kit, do vampires get STDs? I've lived in this district for three years, and I can smell the huge amount of sex in the air, but... isn't anyonee concerned?" [[^--"Reason number 345832!" xD]]

"Wait, what now?" Teddy's mind was thrown right off its track by the oddly pertinent question. Why hadn't Teddy thought to ask that himself? Before, you know, practically panting over a vampire. He looked up at Markus, who still seemed dazed. What else had he not even thought to ask for his own safety? Where had his sense of self preservation fled to? Down into Markus' tight leather pants, apparently.

I shrugged. This Mac person probably wasn't that important. I decided to answer Samantha's question instead. "No, we don't," I told her. "We're technically dead bodies, re-animated by some force come nightfall. Or whenever we wake up. So how could dead bodies have diseases? There's no living part of us. Except our personalities, emotions and... sex drives." I turned my gaze back to Teddy.

Teddy thought he could literally feel heat in that gaze. Oh right; that was what happened to his self preservation, he thought wryly. Not for the first time in his life, he was grateful for the baggy clothes that hid the most obvious sign of his reaction to Markus. He kissed Markus' neck and murmured a little shyly. "That takes care of everybody but us, doesn't it?" He gives Markus a small smile.

I moved so our bodies were pressed together, face to face. His baggy clothes may have hid the visibility of his reaction, but they didn't hide the feeling of it. I stifled a moan. I turned to look back at Samantha, awaiting her answer.

Sam's eye twitched a little, and looked away out of respect. That makes it necrophilia, she thought to herself. "So," she said rather uncomfortably, "Should we all go to our respective resting places, then?" [[Random fact: Sam's pheromones smell like patchouli.]]

The look on her face wasn't exactly subtle. Many people believed that having sex with vampires was considered necrophiliac. Necrophilia is defined as having sex with a corpse. While vampires are technically animated corpses, they are incredibly close to human beings, the only differences being... well, the differences are numerous. But the only thing that mattered is that I wasn't a decaying zombie. I was still human-esque. And Teddy didn't seem to mind. Neither did Anita Blake. She was constantly ******** Jean-Claude. But I decided to be polite and ignore the expression on Samantha's features. "If you wish," I replied to her request. "Teddy, is that alright with you?"

Sam looked at Kit. "Well, since you seem to be halfway sober, I assume you are able to go home. I wish the three of you good fortune until we meet again." Samantha waved goodbye and left for her home. [[I can't post until the next day in the rp, just sayin'.]]

"Yes, definitely." he replied a little breathlessly. Teddy wasn't paying any attention to Sam any more; he completely missed her expression. Not that it really would have mattered; he'd given up trying to talk sense into himself and leave. What made sense right then was not resorting to his left hand as a date for once.
