Noticing Record's reaction to the Kenton's, Chase heaved a sigh. So she didn't know either.
"Ummm....Do you know the origins of these plushies?"
he asked anyway, then continued by getting up and picking up the closest Kenton plushie, carrying it protectively.
"If not....do you mind if we keep them at the base until we figure out where they live?"

Record shook her head.
"No. I am not familiar with this strain of plushie."
Bending forward, Record examined the one in Chase's grasp closely.
"If you can vouch for their nature I will let them stay in your quarters."
Record decided, planning to move some of the Jarian defenses around the room just in case.

Chase thought this over then nodded.
"Alright....I don't think they'll cause too much trouble..."
He looked at the others that were running about, some sleeping. It was quite an irresistible sight. They were all so cute!
"Is anyone home? (meaning the Base)
"Either way, I mean to return to the Base for a while to rest....is this a valid entry?"
Chase asked Record having only traveled through this magical door a sparse amount of times.

"Viva is in..."
Record said, sounding a little uncomfortable with the subject.
"Yes, this is the actual door though. Please step through to arrive in headquarters."
She said, motioning for Chase to enter.

Chase sensed Record's uneasiness and was rather perplexed. He didn't find anything wrong with the few times he'd been around Viva. Maybe they got in a fight?
Chase shrugged the worry off and gathered up the Kentons before following Record through the door.
"Come on, let's go...ano"
