Jacob looked at him. "This place is just disturbing." He found a closet which he opened. He found a few srticles of clothing hanging up. "Well thats weird..."He then reached into a pocket of a coat and found a diary filled with entries. He hid it in his pocket then looked in other things. "Hey I found some candles..." Jacob said looking around them. "No matches though."

Roxy sketched out the room then in big letters wrote: 'Bedroom.' She sat down on the bed for a second and wrote some side notes. 'Mattress: like new, lighting: not the best' She stood up and look curiosly over at Jacob. "Well I have Matches...but no candle holders, which is something we'd need."

"well, if as a last resort we can just tilt the candles away from our hands and carry them that way. But let's move onwards to see if we can find some holders." Stepping back out into the hall I moved onto the next room. Sliding my hands along the wall I ran full on into a grandfather clock. Sucking on my fingers I growled at the voices as they kept jabbering at me. "Shut it guys. I need a clear head if we want to survive." Still sucking on my wacked fingers I found a small lamp and flicked it on, and sneezed. Looking over my shoulder I called out, "Well I found the dusty sitting room." The couches, the chairs, the tables, all elegant, expensive, and covered in at least a 1/2 inch of dust. It was driving my sinuses up a wall.

I gawked at the now-mangled nail file. "You owe me a new one," I grumbled. However, the mention of an exploration caught my attention. I was all for finding the kitchen. The doctor had mentioned something about food being provided...

I pulled a lighter out of my pocket that i had previously forgotten was in my possesion and walked down a dark hallway, "If you see a light switch, flick it." I continued down the new hallway, looking at more portraits of dead people.

John follows Kamryn, "Ok, hard to think on an empty stomach right?"

The next thing I knew, I was walking down a hall with Kamryn and John, and Kamryn was ordering me to flick on any light switch I saw while she held a lighter in front of her face.
"Right," I mumbled. "Kitchen. Lightswitch." I felt along the walls and felt something plastic under my fingers. I moved my hand up and flipped a switch. Dim bulbs glowed dimly overhead, in a long line down the hallway. At the end, a refridgerator was visible.
"Kitchen," I breathed in relief.

((Just by the way, Kryptonite120 is gone until next weekend, and I don't know if she'll have internet access where she'll be. Also, I'm leaving Sunday for the Outer Banks, and I don't know if I'll be able to bring my laptop or not. So just a heads-up.))

John stares at Kamryn, he looks around, "They got any booze in here?"
