I was actually looking for a new anime to watch at this anime website. I looked through the lists and the first one for the d section was D.Gray-Man. Watched it and eventually loved it.

It was advertised in the back of different manga I was reading.. and in some magazines. Just figured I could check it out since it looked interesting. Glad I did. biggrin

Well me and my cousin started flippin through his list of animes to watch, then we decided to skip Soul Eater to watch D. Gray Man, and wow, I'm glad we skipped Soul Eater XD D. Gray man seemed kinda wierd to me at fiirst, then I got hooked into it! Then after I was done with the anime we watched Soul Eater 0.o lol

If I'm remembering it correctly, my friend kept bugging me for a year ago on how DGM was his biggest fandom and even roleplayed as Allen someplace else. Funny how I never got into it until he stopped convincing me and I gave the series a try on my own accord.
Now I'm the one spazzing about new chapters, buying doujinshis, para-roleplaying, presenting Lenalee the honor as being my first cosplay (Otakon 2010!), going to a post-con get together and playing mini golf, laser tag, go-kart, arcade, etc. wearing my cosplay with the new friends I made at the con. 8DD;;;;

I used to subscribe to Shonen Jump and they previewed one of the chapters.
I considered myself a fan but didn't go RABID PSYCHO FANGIRL until this summer when I finally watched all 103 episodes of the anime. And reread the manga.

Well, one of my friends had heard a song he thought I might enjoy, so I went on Youtube and searched the song and found it in the form of a D.Gray-Man AMV and since I enjoyed anime I clicked on it and fell in love with D.Gray-Man, and shortly after seeing the video I found out there was a manga so I started buying those when ever I could.

My sister's friend lent her volume 1 so that my brother could read it (he saw a preview in his shonen jump), so then I decided to read it too, and I instantly LOVED IT!! whee So then my sister asked to borrow the rest and her friend lent her volumes 2-11(they were only up to 11 at the time). I read all of them and was IN LOVE with the series! heart After a long period of waiting I decided to start buying them myself starting at volume 12, and within two months I had volumes 12-17! whee Then (while waiting for volume 18 to come out in August) I started buying volumes 1-9. But after getting all of those, it was a LONG, SAD Wait for volume 19. crying Then I Rejoiced when finally I bought volume 19!! heart And now, here I am, with volumes 1-9 and 12-19, missing volumes 10 and 11. crying BUT!!! ALL IS WELL BECAUSE I'M BUYING THEM TOMORROW (fo real)!!!!!!!! whee

I came across it when they had a preview chapter in a shonen jump and i have been buying them ever since and has STAYED my favorite manga since it first started(though i wasnt addicted to anime or manga then) whee

I learned about D.Gray-man through my family. I first watched it. I loved it. I read the manga, I loved it. I am usually a chill fan not fangirling. But when it comes to D.Gray-man I go fangirling. I then started to read fanfiction and doujinshi of D.Gray-man. I can't stop loving it. Kanda x Allen <3

My sister's friends recommended DGM to her, and my sister began to watch it. At first I ignored it because I was obsessive over Ouran HSHC at the time, but then I saw a picture of Lavi and that is when my fandom started... I feel really pathetic now. sweatdrop

I was really bored and i spent an hour looking for anime that looked and sounded good, then i finally came upon D.gray Man and it was an amazing decision to watch it, it is now one of my favorite animes.
