Catherine felt it was time to explore the fourth floor, it took her nearly half an hour and a small tantrum to pry Aphrodite away from the television set. No worries were on her face this evening, Nariko and Garreth were napping soudly with Baxterfullous watching over them with careful eyes. Smiling, she made her way towards the indoor garden a basket in her arms. Slipping her shoes off along with her stockings she smiled feel thing wet dirt between her toes.
"Maamaaa..." The voice of a the tiny toddler from inside her basket whined. "Where we?"
"We're in the garden, I wanna see what's up here.. I haven't been able to cultivate foci in a long time."
"Gardens... fociies?" The words made the toddlers head spin. "Wazzats?"
"Well.. Gardens are places that grow plants, but sometimes specific plants.. and foci help you with spell work."
"Oh." she nodded, only understanding about half of the explanation. " Why am I in da baskets agains?"
Cathering furrowed her brow. "It's called time out, you were yelling and screaming while your baby sister and brother were napping... Until you honestly feel sorry for what you've done you're not comming out of the basket."

After the tickle fight concluded Aladon's gaze was still tightly focused on the worm in his hand. He let it slide along his hand. Then dropped it he picked it up rolling over onto his back he let it slide down his arm, dropped again.
Kanilea let him have his fascination as she continued planting, “Bochi” she made sure only to plant things that were safe to the wandering mishap or tongue.
His thoughts consumed him about the tiny creature what was this little thing? why did it wiggle so? Why didn’t it have any wings? Why didn’t it have any legs? Why didn’t it have any fur? For the most part his narcissistic views on why isn’t he just like me were harmless. But for some reason after looking at it, smelling it, listening to it, and feeling it, Aladon decided he just didn’t have enough information on his new friend. And that is when sweet little Joe the dearest friend Aladon had ever known met his demise--to his tiny little fangs.
The reaction was loud to say the least, though it was more Kani than Aladon. “Spit that out this instant. I’m not kidding. What’s the number for poison control? Wait…to bats eat worms?”
Both Aladon and Kanilea decided the answer to that last question was clearly a no because Aladon spit that nasty little worm back out onto the ground. “Msagjkh,” he giggled, which I can only assume meant “Geeze, Joe, you taste like dirt.” Which was very insensitive of Joe in my opinion.

Catherine promptly spotted the bat-owl mishap and his gaurdian. Catherine smiled, another spellcaster like herself.... who probably knew more about herbs and plants than she did. Waveing with her free hand. "Hello! Nice to meet you!"
Aphrodite humphed, crossing her arms over her chest. "Not my faults theys were nappings while I was watching toonies."
"Now as I said before, you're staying until you've learned you're lesson." She said quietly to the tiny wasp mishap.

Kanilea looked up from the mishap, who was still watching Joe a little to curiously. She got up to shake hands with the new Guardian? But where was her mishap. She make a scan of the surrounding area, nothing. Thinking better than leaving Aladon alone with non-edible things in sight. She picked him up with a grungy hand and took a step closer to the woman.
Aladon was quite distraught by being torn away from Joe, they were just getting to know each other. He began to crawl down Kani’s leg back to his friend.
Kani had to keep catching him and putting him back on her hip, which made her to an awkward motion repeatedly, it was like a bad line dance from the 80s. “Hello, there.” She smiled holding Aladons squirming body to her hip. “I’m Kanilea, and this little trouble maker,” moving him back yet again, “is Aladon.” She smiled and extended her one free hand to the woman, trying to hold Ali in place.

Shaking Kani's hand very heartily, the plump witch smiled brightly. "My name's Catherine... and this troublemaker..." She gestured to the wasp mishap in the basket, who was now trying to master the art of walking, but was having trouble with unsteady grounding. "Is Aphrodite."
Aphrodite blinked looking from where where she leaned. Looking up at the odd baby with her large yellow eyes, smiling, but her smile didn't seem genuine. She was still unhappy about being punished.

Kani gasped and let go of Aladon.
Which would have been bad had he still be fighting her grip. But he had found a new fascination, with pink hair that stood less then a foot high. His legs had a firm grip on his guardian and his head was now peering into the basket. Kanilea realized she was still shaking the woman’s hand. “Sorry, I just wasn’t expecting…Sorry, I should learn not to assume anything.” She had to smile noticing the grumpy half-hearted smile, “Adorable.” She giggled.
Aladon’s claws were now reaching into the basket towards Aphrodite. Hmm…what was this thing? It was small like Joe, He took a sniff of air, It didn’t smell like Joe, he listened to the tiny girl, it didn’t sound like Joe, he moved one of his tiny claws to quickly touch the girl, It wasn’t slimy like Joe, It didn’t look like Joe, there was only one more sense to take into account, his weight transferred onto the basket, his mouth opened.
Kani was getting used to this by now pulling him back. “I wouldn’t.” smiling at the tiny stinger on the girls rump. She turned her attention back to the woman, “What brings you two to this wonderful garden? Out for a walk?”
((I really want to Rp but I really have to get up at 5 tomorrow less than 5 hours of sleep makes K a dull girl. Tomorrow?))

Aphrodite raspberried the baby. He was going to eat her!
Catherine laughed a bit, this wasn't the first time someone thought of Aphrodite was food... " I can to explore and I was low on foci for some spells. " She smiled.
Aphrodite blinked up again, there was that word again, made her tummy jump. She looked back up at Aladon, he reminded her of someone, someone from Full Metal, but his eyes were different.

Aladon was startled by Aphrodite’s tongue, which was funny to see, comparing their sizes. Though it took him a while he began to realize that maybe this was no ordinary wasp…though he didn’t really know what an ordinary wasp was yet.
Kanilea smiled now sure Aladon was not going to eat one of the first people they met and said, “Foci? I haven’t heard them called that in a long time; it’s always great to have another spell caster around.” She motioned to her small still relatively unplanted patch, “Mi foci, Su foci. Though at the moment there isn’t much to share.”
Aladon began to look over into the basket questionly again, though this time with no intent to eat, ok, so a tiny repressed intent to eat.

Catherine made a face at the mention of short amount of foci. "Oh my, well I don't need any of it right now... I know there's a shop in barton that I can go to, but I can help you gather if you like."
Aphrodite wiggled her way to the other end of the basket, plopping down. "Mama I feel sorry." She said loudly. "Mamaa..."

Silencer Wolf Bdmp. Bdmp.
Rex took the ball and positioned himself a few feet away from Ike. The boy dribbled it into a steady rhythm, and smiled up at Ike.
"Ike have to dribble, and try get past defence to score." This the boy demonstrated by pushing off his left foot suddenly, holding out his left arm to add distance between Ike and the ball to in an attempt to block a steal.
"But Ike defending now, so Ike have to stop Rex going in, or try to steal ball." Ike, being quite afraid of hurting his new friend, lunged forward and under Rex's arm, attempting to swipe the ball. He missed by inches and stumbled backward. He didn't like this game much. Then, suddenly, he heard a string of loud barks coming from below them.
"Mummy! Jack is hungry!" he said, forgetting about the game and pointing to the floor.
"Oh, God," Rabid rolled her eyes, "I'm sorry, but I really have to go. It's was a pleasure to meet you." She smiled at Silencer and waved, unsure of what, exactly, to do. She then began sprinting toward the stairs as the barking became more shrill, sounding more and more mechanical.
Ike watched Mummy run off, and then turned to Rex.
"Sorry, Rex! Ike and Rex finish game 'nother day. Rex winned by default. BAAAAI!" He ran off down the stairs, his ears folded back against the noise.

Kanilea nodded and said, “If you and your daughter feel like getting your hands dirty, I always enjoy the company.” She gestured back towards the small patch which she had begun planting and the flat of herbs waiting to be put in, “Would you like to help?” She asked Aphrodite, though unsure if she would be able to.
Aladon jumped a little when the tiny voice began he was not expecting that, it made noise like the one holding him but they were higher, shriller, his sensitive ears picked up the tones as loudly as if they had been screamed at the top of a normal size person’s lungs. He wasn’t sure if he liked or disliked the sound yet.

"Aphrodite's in the basket until she honestly fels sorry for what she's done, I'm afraid she's in time out." She explained as she settled the basket down on the ground, rolling her long sleeves up. The knees of her jeans dirtying as soon as she knelt down on the ground.
Aphrdite blinked not sure what her mother meant and tried to fly out of the basket on to knocking into the small magical sheild that surrounded the basket. "Ow!"

Kanilea was a little anxious seeing the magic shield but also very intrigued she made a quick, and hopefully subtle, look around the basket to find the items procuring the wall. She couldn’t seem to find any. Either they were hidden very well, or the woman could sustain charms with no Foci, both were very impressive feats, she commented on this.
Aladon didn’t ponder about what was causing the wall or the miraculous ability to do it. He could barely make the connection between Catherine and the wall itself, but he did recognize that something strange was going on, he tentatively reached out for the basket, trying to get the tiny wasp girl’s attention, thinking she might have something to do with the strangeness.
Kani knelt beside Cat and began to take another plant and, after removing it from its wooden crate, placed it in a whole she had already dug.
She set Aladon down next to her, and made a gesture for him to help dig, but he seemed far more interested in the basket than in the dirt.
“So are you two from around here?” she said, trying to make a light conversation.

A smile formed upon Catherine's face as she dug deep into the soil, pulling out a herb and placing it where Kani placed hers. "Well actually... I didn't live here until a few years ago. I moved to Durem to get away from my family... " She pushed her glasses with her the back of her wrist. " In their eyes I'm not very talented and was considered the family black sheep." She shrugged digging again. "I can only conjure bubble charms, sheilds, and ghost touch... and to my nana and teacher that's a big accomplishment, but to my family it's a waste." She dug deeper into the ground. " Briar can cast a fireball all you make is bubbles blah blah blah..." She sighed quietly. " I know I'm not useless, and it's a feat to do it without any sort of foci, but sometimes it doesn't seem enough to my mother and father." She stared at the herb in her hands. " .. I'm sorry I shouldn't be complaining like this." she laughed a bit, placing more into the basket. " I get kinda worked up when I talk about myself... " Catherine shrugged a bit.
Aphrodite bounced again off the shield, finally sitting down after the thrid time. rubbing her forehead she decided to take her mother's word's into consideration. Maybe she wasn't being fair when her siblings were napping... but they were in her room! That wasn't fair... but they were tired and they're still babies... She sighed. "Mama.. I'm sorry I yelled when Nari and Gari were sleeping. It wasn't nice of me." She then looked at the strange bat baby and waved at him.
Catherine merely smiled at Aphrodite. "Well if that's true then you can leave the basket."

.. Fountain Area ..
Chluk! Sloop!
Pebbles flew and bounced around the place as Rex practiced on his defensive skills. He'd fail once or twice, resulting in several ouches from the boy, and growls from his twin.
"I really think you should stop for now Rex," came a sound from the fountain as another pebble flew towards the mishap, followed shortly later by another 'ouch!'.
