Disney world in Florida. It wasn't actually a vacation so much as I went with the marching band and we got to run around the parks for a few days- we were actually there by invitation to march around the Epcot center ^_^ It was awesome.

I have never been to disney anything.
I always really enjoy my trips to the coast. Period. I love being near the ocean.

This summer was my third vacation ever I would say. My first being spring break 08. That would be my favorite right now. The kids and I drove up to San Diego. That was beautiful. I met Thistle and her son for the first time in person. That was Beautiful too. I also got to meet Ken and Matt from the guild. I have to say best Vacation ever, and it changed my life for the better too.
I have been two Disney World. I went back in high school. We went as a band trip and preformed over there. It was alot of fun and a great experience. I would love to take the kids to Disney Land next summer. John, the youngest will be five already and ready to handle a full day. What do you say Ken...got room for five on your living room floor? wink

Being a musician (euphonium player) really gave me a huge respect for all types of music. I listen to everything and enjoy it all. Sometimes I will get more into a mood and that will depend on what my tastes will lean toward. I love to hear new music and expand my musical horizon and tastes.
... that being said Indian music (music from india) seems to be the one type that would probably be the most difficult for me to listen to for some reason. I'm not sure why but it is.
And thistle.... what was that rock band that you introduced me to when we were there? The one Dave had introduced to you?

As of right now my favorite song is Alegria ^^; It's got several hundred more plays than anything else on my iPod. I can just listen to it forever xD
But in general the only music I don't like is twangy country and death metal or anything heavy on screaming or discord. I like my songs to be melodic ._.

I have pretty eclectic musical tastes, way too many different things to mention here. I listen to top-40 stuff, pop mostly, but I prefer stuff I can sing to, which generally means melancholy, ballady crap.

She has some amazing ballads and they're pretty easy to sing along to (even though her vocal range is way wider than mine >.>)

There is no indie, dutch neofolk, scandinavian black folkmetal, or contemporary neoclassical!

Enya is similarly ballady and singable.

I was already familiar with Hayley Westenra but I get a lot of her music on that channel, also- songs of hers I haven't heard yet and whatnot.

I lurvs me J-Rock, which would probably be classified under Alternative here in the states. But really I listen to anything. 3nodding In my CD player right now I have three L'arc~en~Ciel CDs, two Black Mages CD's, Gorillaz, RJD2, Linkin Park, Britney Spears (don't hurt me!) and Kidd Cutty (which is my sisters but she refuses to let me take it out of the car sweatdrop "I need something to listen to when I borrow your car!!" xp ).
