Anyway, I've never had a problem with communal showers, either. It's not an actively pleasing situation, but I don't think it displeasing either. It also helped me learn to shower quickly.

@aretoo — I too had a communal showers all through junior high and high school. Wasn't awkward for me and I simply didn't think about any of the other guys swingin' that way. I guess I saw it the same way I do with girls, if they wanna look they can... Anyway, that would be a useful ability to have...

My freshman year I lived in a building with showers like that. There was 1 handicap shower on the end though, with a door and a tub. I tried to use that one whenever I could. gonk I hated those little plastic useless curtains that would hang right down the middle of the shower, and cover 0% of the sides. crying

Public showers I don't mind at all. I've been playing sports since middle school and we have shower after practice and games.
As for college, we have really nice ones. All showers have a glass door on them so you can't see inside and they're all single showers.
