DevonyEvony I'm mostly a cartoon kinda gal, though I have drawn more realistic animal drawings. I've only done one large piece in charcoal and conte, and bugged me to no end. It was an engine detail, and with me enjoying more organic subjects, I couldn't get in tune with the darn thing. I give you credit for drawing people. I'm just now learning how to get the face right in cartoon ways. Realism, though? Not quite there yet. xD It all comes with practice biggrin . The more we draw the better we get razz . I will send you a pic of some hands i did, a year ago.

Ooo, art talk!
Oh, charcoal... I try to like it. I really do. But then it gets all over the place and makes me have a fit, and I hate it all over again. XD
I recently bought some woodless graphite pencils, which I think are awesome. I end up with smudges all over my hands but not as much as with charcoal pencils.
I am trying to learn to draw people. After years of drawing cyberpets, it's time to do something serious... I'm trying to set more time aside to sketch each week. Doesn't make much sense to expect to get better when I forget to practice. wink

*sheepish* Well, both my major cyberpet agencies are on hiatus *is horribly unproductive on that front*, but feel free to poke around the sites if you like: Bishen Realm (Bishel Dragons) Eorl's Honor (battling critters, Eorlan) I think my most recent art would be here, part of a batch of real life commissions.

Art!Or at least four random images that I had in my sketchbook at the time I was near my scanner. xD I would have put on more, but Photoshop was deciding to randomly quit on me at odd times, making me frustrated.

It's pretty awsome. Yay! We now have an art thread! Sadly I can't put up any of my work yet, it's all packed right now. As soon as I have something worth putting up, I will.
