Sho walks in the front door and makes his way down the hall to the Vice Captain's office. Stopping less than a foot away he fixes his uniform and then knocks on the door and waits ..... "I hope Master Yamoto is in. I'm ready to start training for my Shikai today."

Yamoto woke up due to the knock. "Ugh....come in." Yamoto shuffled some papers around making it look like he was doing something. He then just gave up and leaned back in his chair. I hope this is important Yamoto began to play with the letter opener on his desk. It was designed to look like Yamoto zanpakuto, so he was very fond of it.

Sho walks in and bows. He then says, "Master Yamoto, I am sorry to have bothered you. I know you are busy. I have spoken to Master Bullene and he said I should see you for my Shikai training. I have just finished the seating tests and I am now ranked 6th seat for the squad. I feel that I am ready to start advancing my power/abilities so I can better help the team. I need your help Master in doing this .... "

After the short experience with the captain, Clare hoped the introduction with the vice captain would be a little more enlightening as to how things ran in the 7th squad. If he is anywhere near as busy as the captain was he wouldn't be able to spare much time for me either, she realized and felt a good bit of her positive energy vanish. Clare shook her head, and told herself, "No, I must not get down today. Once I am done here I'm going to go train and let off this extra steam!"
Clare knocked on the door to the vice captain's office, and stood waiting for some kind of acknowledgement to enter. Since the teachers didn't know anything about the vice captain, she had no idea what she should expect. Is he like the captain? Scary? Nice?... her thoughts trailed on for a few moments as she waited.

She heard the vice captain call her in, but couldn't tell if there was any annoyance or boredom in his voice. She entered the room to the sound of shuffling paper and quiet writing. Either he is hard at work, or he is good at pretending that he is working, Clare mentally joked to herself to release a small amount of stress that was once again building up without her zanpakto pulling any away. Clare stood centered in front the vice captain's desk, gave him a deep bow, and after standing back up said, "Vice Captain Yamoto, my name is Clare Mai Watson. I just wanted to come and say thank you for accepting me into the 7th Squad and that I am proud to be here among such well trained leaders. I will do my best to not let the squad down!" Clare was slightly nervous, but she did not let that show as anything more than merely being energetic and enthusiastic, which she also was.

Yamoto smiled at the girl's statement. "Well we are glad you decided to join us Clare, and yes I am good at pretending to do work." Yamoto smiled as he remebered that most people didn't know he could hear people thoughts like they were talking out loud. "So have you made yourself familar with the squad dojo and training area?" Yamoto looked at the squad 7 member with curiousity. "Oh and don't be nervous around me, I have nothing to fight you about so we are friends."

Did I say that part out loud? she wondered to herself slightly confused and embarrassed. Whether he had the ability to read her thoughts or she had accidentally spoke her thoughts without realizing, the fact that he took the idle joke well put Clare a bit more at ease than she was in front of the captain. "About the dojo and training area, I haven't gone to those places yet, but I can say that I train almost every day and I will quickly become familiar with them," Clare said honestly, slightly proud of her habit to train that bordered on an obsession. Before she was sent away, Clare just wanted to make sure there weren't any special rules that she hadn't already been made aware of, and asked as a last question, "Vice Captain Yamoto, are there any special rules or procedures that I should be aware of now that I am a part of the 7th Squad?" The more I know up front, the fewer problems I'll encounter later, she thought simply, and this time didn't mind if somehow he heard that thought.

Sho enters the building that houses VC Yamoto's office. He goes up to the VC's door and knocks. Sho waits outside for permission to enter the office .....

"What" Yamoto was rather annoyed by people needing his help. "Clare I recomend that you find some newer shinigami and sapr with them." Yamoto looked back to his door and frowned. "Sho this had better be important."

Clare noticed that Vice Captain Yamoto's mood changed a good bit toward being annoyed, and decided that this was a good time to take her leave. "Thank you sir. I will go see about sparring then," she said politely and then bowed deeply before turning to walk out of the office. On her way out she saw a boy who was just slightly taller than her with short black hair waiting outside the door to the vice captain's office; I wonder who he is? she thought as she walked past him towards her room to unpack.

Sho says to Yamoto, "Having a bad day today Master? You sound like you need a break. I am sorry to bother you. I just wanted to ask you about my Shikai. Since I have achived it, I have had many visions of myself speaking with my Zanpakutou's spirit. Is this normal? Do you have these visions too? Or does this mean something else? Please, I am looking for your wisdom in this matter ..."
"Also ... I'm sure by now you have been told that I have left the 7th Squad for the 8th Squad. Well, I need your help again. It seems that the Captain of the 8th is MIA and he has no VC appointed. I am the next highest seat in the Squad. There are a lot of problems with the Squad and I need you to train me in Bankai. I need to take charge until the Captain comes back. Please help me ....

"Tansen is wondering in Hueco Mundo and I am pretty sure Asuma should be back by now." Yamoto looked to his sudent, and smiled. "In reality I am not allowed to train people fo Bankai since I am not a captian yet." Yamoto looked at Sho with a little disappointment. "So I really can't help you this time."

Sho looks at Yamoto and then says, "Ok, I understand Master. How about another Hado or Bakudou? I just feel like I need to keep the ball rolling. Like I need to keep pushing forward to be the best student you have ever had. You know like your prodigy...."
