I smiled at Lizzie again and began leading the way to a little Chinese place. "I'm so sick of fast food," I smirked. "Granted, this is the Chinese equivalent to fast food..."
I approached the counter and ordered shrimp lo mein.
"What do you want?" I asked Lizzie.

Lizzie ordered some pepper steak and egg drop soup. "I'll pay you back." she told him.

I paid the cashier and took the bag of food. I looked at Lizzie with a smile. I'd been smiling a lot today. "Don't worry about it," I said.

Lizzie smiled back, "Okay..." she replied. She couldn't exactly say no to him, even in the short time she'd known Xander.

Everyone had wondered off to get food. Anna sat down by her bag and looked down at the bag of trail mix in her lap. She wondered how many m&ms were in the bag. She wondered how many of the m&ms were red. She wondered if there were more red m&ms then orange m&ms. she set the bag aside and drank some water.

Liam looked over at her through the side of his eyes again. "Oh so your a run-a-way huh?" He smiled and popped a chip into his mouth. Damn it, now I care...Why oh why didn't I get away from her when I had the chance? "Anything I can help with?" What the hell?! He looked over at her fully now and then held the open side of the bag towards her. "Want some?"

Mai shook her head, refusing the chips.
"Yeahh. A run-away." Mai repeated, now deeming it her reason of flying out.
"The only problem is the fricken' publicity. My parents have the whole police force out looking for me."

Liam smiled at her. "Running from the police is my game!" Then Liam glared a little. "And your parents sound like party poopers!" He took a sip of his pepsi and popped another chip in his mouth.

"You have no idea."
Mai then let his first statement roll over in her mind, and she didn't quite understand.
"You've been in trouble with the police before?"

Liam nodded. "Yes I have. More then once!" He seemed a little more proud about this then he should have. He gave off a smile that said 'Yeah, I'm that cool.' "Once I was busted though, spent a year and eight months in jail, that wasn't fun. In other words if you have a problem with the cops, I will help you." No I won't! What the hell am I saying? Have I completely lost it?!

Mai smiled at him.
"Thanks, bud." She said, touching his arm with her hand, then withdrawing it to fix her hair.
Still careful not to let her sleeve slip, Mai finished fixing her hair, and rested her hands casually on her lap.

Liam's smile quickly turned into a snarl. "If you want my help, never EVER! Call me Bud, or buddy or any other "cute" pet name you can think of okay?" He threw another chip into his mouth. Liam watched her as she fixed her hair and noticed her keeping her sleeve down. He was about to ask her why, but then decided it was none of his business and he didn't really care why. He just wanted to get on that plane and get out of here.

"Rawr, put in those claws Mister. It wasn't a 'cute' pet name, m'kay?" She said, obviously preoccupied now, by watching the guards descretly.

He just glared at her. "You know? This is going to be one interesting friendship." Now we are friends?! That's it Liam...you've lost it...I don't make friends remember? All they do is stab you in the back. He turned his attention to the guards as well. As he did so though one of them started to come their way.

"Yeahh. And this will be one hell of a situation." Mai said, sliding down her sunglasses.
As somebody stepped in the way of the guard's view, Mai reached and grabbed a hoodie out of her carry-on and through it on herself. She pulled up the hood, just as the guard reached the table.
"Excuse me, have either of you seen this girl? I thought I witnessed her over here, but I could've been mistaken." He said in a gruff voice, and lso in a bored tone. He showed them a picture of Mai herself, at a party with her friends.
Mai shifted her gaze to Liam, as if pressing him to help her. Even though her probably didn't see her look, because of her sunglasses.
