Seilynn smiled kindly at the girl as she apologized
"It's alright now, no harm done, right?" She said and smiled a little more, relieved that the girl offered to show her the market
"I would love to see the market so it would be great if you could take me there." She then nodded, bowing respectfully, even if Crystal was just a kid, as she introduced herself.
"It's nice to meet you Crystal. My name-" She hesiatated for amoment before continuing
"- My name is Seilynn." She guessed the market was somewhere in town so she headed in that direction, since she would see it but she would need Crystals help to find her way through it all.

Keyla had lost Xavier somwhere in the woods as they had been scurring around in the forest. Whens he was to return to the camp, there was no one there and she sighed.
"Great... How do I manage to loose sight of just everyone?!" She asked herself and made her way back to the stream but noticed the water in it was lower and as she looked at it was as if she could hear it scream. She blinked, not understanding and looked at the sky, seeing smoke from fire. Her eye widened and she hurried in that direction. She knew now she would probably find the others there as well.

Alaura lead the men ever backwards, parrying blows and dealing out minor cuts of her own. The fire men sneered at her, thinking she had grown weary of using her powers and fighting them at the same time. Foolish men, she had spent an entire night and day at rest, they would not be able to take her out so easily. Too late did they realize the trap she had set. All at once there was a series of yells and her men dropped down from above, swords drawn or bows knocked with arrows. They were ready, each of them, to fight for their own leader, but what shone in their eyes, a mixture of greens and browns, was not the fear that the fire soldiers felt but courage and admiration in their leader. Their eyes shone with a trust so deep that they would lay down their life to save their captain. Alaura now grinned at the fire soldiers who, despite their obvious odds, stood their ground.

“Foolish men, you should have run while you had the chance.” The fire soldiers looked slightly confused but they stepped forward nonetheless, meaning to engage the group before them. They wouldn’t have the chance, however, at least not all of them. In a sudden explosion of noise, the trees moaned and creaked, their own language that sounded in Alaura’s head very much like triumphant war cries. She had awakened the trees and they were not happy about the burning these men had down to their fellows. Limbs snapped about, thumping the fire soldiers around like rag dolls, those that were caught. Other trees grabbed for the now chaotic mass of men. Only the earthen soldiers and Alaura were left unharmed in that area. They would not be touched by the enraged forest. Even so, they advanced on the now scattering army of fifty or so fire men, driving them back. Those men that managed to regain their minds attempted to fight, but they were being attacked at all sides and it would certainly prove difficult. Alaura’s eyes gleamed as she held out her arms, dropping her sword and holding her arms parallel to the ground. Her palms faced upwards and she tilted her head back.

Her white hair fell from her face and for a moment she stood there, utterly still. She seemed almost holy in that moment, her hair damp with the rain that had now stopped. Her palms glowed softly with a green lightly and she began to speak in a strange and somewhat haunting language. One of the fire soldiers had slipped past her men and had seen her in this prone position. Seeking to take out what he assumed to be the leader, he quickly made his way forward until he was upon her. Still she did not move, simply stood there with her chest exposed as if she were waiting for him to pierce her heart. Lifting his blade, he had every intention of doing such when a look of utter shock spread across his face. Protruding from his chest was a vine of an altogether different nature. It was not flimsy like the earthen vines but hard as metal, and it gleamed with a metallic brilliance. He looked to the woman before him as she stood straight once more, her head bent forward slightly. She turned her head, white hair streaming down her face, and opened her eyes to stare at the man. A pair of eerily glowing orbs seemed to have taken over her eyes, staring into him with a cold hatred. “I warned you.” She said in a voice that seemed rather detached. It was as cold as the ice that Shane created. Without picking up her sword, Alaura made her way out of the forest, heading toward the fray now taking place back in the clearing by the lake, her men fighting those of the fire prince.

Crystal bowed in return, moving to catch up as Seilynn headed off. “It would be my pleasure.” She said in a cheery voice, stepping a little in front of the woman so that she could easily lead her through the streets. It was a little difficult given that people seemed not to be crowding the streets as much, but she did her best. Every now and then she would stomp a little harder on the ground, playing it off as if she were simply being a playful child. The true purpose of this was to create a sort of sonar, allowing her to map out her surrounding based on the sounds that reverberated back to her. Having her eyesight taken from her had heightened her other sense far beyond that of any normal human.

The winding streets seemed like a maze, yet Crystal had already been creating an ongoing map in her own mind. It was how she managed to make her way around so easily, giving yet further belief that she was perfectly capable of seeing. She would use her many skills to determine where she was and as she moved about a new place she would create extensive maps in her mind that seemed to be recalled on a whim, should she need them.

As of right now she had lead them through the maze of streets, going along quietly so that she could hear the sounds that would help her distinguish where they were. Electrical pulses seemed to grow more in number as they neared what seemed to be a slightly busier part of town. She stopped just on the outside of what could only be described as the entrance to the market and turned to Seilynn.
“Here we are, one market as promised. I’m sure you’ll find what you need in there.” Her tone was slightly sad. She had done what she had offered and, being of no further help, figured she would likely have to go her own way now. She had enjoyed the company, even if it had been a silent one, and didn’t truly want to part. But something about this woman gave Crystal the idea that she didn’t want to be here, for whatever reason and she guessed the woman would think her a burden.

The thundering of hooves echoed through the trees as a stallion of huge proportions barreled through. He was snorting with excitement as his master flattened his body to the creature, allowing him to move freely and much faster. They had finally come upon the area that had been burned, now hearing voices. There were the distinct shouts of men in battle, and Damien’s heart raced. Battle was not something he enjoyed but, as a knight of the Paladin Order, he was often required to march into battle, when needed. He had hoped that things would not be so ill when he arrived, but he found them to be quite rough. He could now clearly see that half the forest he so loved had been burned, the other half seemed unmarred. He could just make out a mass of men through the trees, what looked to be men from fire and earth kingdoms alike. There were a few set apart from the mass, but these he could only just make out. Something glowed within the trees that sent a chill down his spine, a sort of eerie occurrence than made he ponder if the very spirit of the forest had come to life to seek revenge for it’s burnt crops.

Damien’s attention was shifted, however, when he heard voices a little closer to him. He reigned in Asgoroth, looking about with his brilliant gaze. There, just beyond in the trees and covered in shadows were a couple. A man was holding a woman in a very rough manner, speaking in low tones that seemed almost like hissing cruelty in Damien’s ears. He spurred his steed forth, pulling out his adamant blade. It gleamed with an unnatural glow. It was said that Paladin’s of old had been able to cause their blades to glow with a blue-white flame when they held them, but this was considered a mere myth as no Paladin had done such a thing for many a century.

Damien moved through the trees as quietly as was possible until he was just behind the man. He was still several feet away but he knew he couldn’t step closer without risking the woman’s life. His eyes seemed to shine with a sort of holiness as he lowered his blade, the tip pointing at the man.
“Let her go now.” He said in a forceful tone. His voice was crisp and deep, a sort medium tone that wasn’t so deep as to rumble the earth yet not high enough to be mistaken as a woman’s. It sat somewhere in between and it held all the confidence of a man who held no fear. Asgoroth snorted as if to add his own exclamation to Damien’s stern words.

Ferros watched the silver haired woman with intrigue. She was an amazing fighter and a brilliant tactician. Over half of his men had been brought down thanks to her cunning skill. This wild, dangerous beauty of the forest was no mere rebel fighter. She was a master of her element, a fighter Ferros could repect and appreciate. Perhaps she was the leader of this band of rag tag heroes. And if so, then it was she Ferros must rid from this forest. As Ferros continued to watch his men being led to the slaughter, he noticed a surge in elemental energy. As a master of his own element, it was easy for Ferros to feel the flux of energies that twisted through every atom and molecule. The area around the mysterious woman was vibrantly thick with such energy, telling Ferros that she was quite powerful, and indeed a master of the earth element.

With a quick snap of his fingers Ferros summoned the rest of his men, a small group of ten or so. "Take care of the ice user and watch out. There is an illusionist about. I can burn through illusions, but you can not." As his men marched off to stop the water user, Ferros looked back to Anae. "Be careful," was all that he said. Ferros popped his knuckles loudly and then made his way towards the silver haired woman approaching him.

The water slowly but surely lifted itself away from the dirt in the form of a purified steam. The reaction caused condensation to form on the crimson satin wrapped around her slender body. She was amazed that no one seemed to notice what she was doing.. but at the same time, did not break her concentration. Anae begin to whisper caringly to the scalding steam arising around her, and watched as it drifted towards the ice that had begin to surround Ferros. Like rats tearing away at a morsel, the steam begin to eat away at the ice, freeing the Prince. "That should do the trick!"

The voice that cried out in the dark startled Vivian to say the least, and her captor stopped dead in his tracks, "Why should I?" he responded, nearly a shout among the trees.

Vivian struggled a bit, knowing that despite her best efforts the man's grip was iron clad. "You'll die if you don't." she attempted, her eyes stinging with honesty.

The man snorted and continued to drag then unwilling Dark descendant through the trees, her heels scraping uselessly in the dirt for some hold. Wherever this man was intent on taking her, she was one hundred percent certain she didn't want to go. "Let me go!" she growled, yanking on her arm as if trying to pull free of a stampeding horse.

Going back to her home and her family was not an option.

Damien refused to let this man go so easily. He was nothing if not chivalrous, and a maiden in disdress was not something he would simply ignored. He spurred forth Asgoroth who reacted as if tied with Damien's own thoughts. They moved through the trees, past the man carrying the woman and stopped right before him. Damien pulled up his huge steed to block the man's path, now pointing the blade at the man's throat.

"I said unhand her, lest you wish for my blade to rid you of that rotten head of yours." His words were spoken with every intent to follow through. His blade, looking like glass and what most would see as harmless and nothing more than show, gleamed as it caught the light, making it almost seem as if the myths of the blue flame in the blade were true. Damien was far too old to believe in such fairy tales, as he had when he was younger, but still he felt a sort of pride at the gleam.

He was a Paladian of the High Order, the very toughest of them and trained in the very best fighting styles. His blade was made of pure adamant, a difficult substance to shape, and stronger than any materials known to man. It could cut through steel as if it were nothing more than butter, and it could even break diamond. This paritcular blade seemed almost to sing with the desire to rid the world of this awful man, but Damien was an honorable man and he would give this man the chance to walk away, to free the girl and forget whatever it was he had intended. If not he would have to face Damien, for Damien would not stand aside.

Seilynn looked at Crystal as she sometimes seemed to stomp in the ground, wondering why but just shrugged it of. Crystal was a kid after all, that much Seilynn could tell as they walked.
Seilynn had a tendency to always try to figure out as much as she could about people without having to ask them since she wasn't that much of a talker until she knew what side they were on in these times of war. Crystal though, was hard to read like that and Seilynn was after all pretty good at it by now. There was something very different about her but she couldn't put her finger on it. Maybe it was because she assumed that Crystal was from the Dark kingdom since this is where they met. What she found more strange though, was that even after Crystal had seen her, she hadn't reacted to her clothes, which where obviously not of the Dark kingdom and was only hidden by the cloak Seilynn had taken as she escaped the fort.
When they reached the market, Seilynn sighed. It was so much larger than she'd thought and she would most likely loose herself in there and there seemed to be a high rick of discovery as well. She turned to Crystal
"Thank you for your help, Crystal. It is much appreciated." She smiled kindly to the girl. She stood like that for a moment and then sighed, thinking she was crazy and hoping she wouldn't regret this next thing she said
"Is there anything you want in return? Just say it and I'll see if I can do anything about it. I owe you that much." she asked.
For some reason, she though Crystal might be a little lonely, even if it was just for the moment she had a look in her eyes that seemed lonely and sort of empty, the kind of look Seilynn could have when she felt down. Then again, different faces had different expessions for everything. She glanced back at the market again as she waited for Crystal to answer. As she scanned the crowds, she could see a few guards every here and there and put her hood up, making sure it shadowed her face just in case someone would recognize her. She didn't think that possible but wasn't keen on taking any risks this soon after escaping the prison either.

Reaching whre the smoke was originating from, Keyla saw several fire soldiers on the ground. She wondered where Alaura and the others had moved to now and looked around. Suddenly she caught the glimps of pure white hair. She headed over and looked at what she saw, Alaura was standing facing a man from the fire kingdom.
Something though, told Keyla to stay away from them as the air seemed tense with energy around them. She saw a movement in the corner of her eye and turned that way, seeing a group of fire men moving towards the lake, seeing Shane by it.
She headed over there instead, not because she thought shane wouldn't do fine by himself but she wanted to help with something, tired of just standing aside and watch the others fight. She was smart enough to know when an enemy was stronger than her but also clever enough to know which ones she could take. A few of the men that now ran towards Shane was people she could take down with ease.
She let them reach Shane before she would do anything, so she could see what he would do first.

Crystal could hear an amount of tension in the woman's voice, despite the kind words she spoke. It was a gift she had mastered, hearing people's voices what others might see in their face or eyes. She looked to the woman as she saw electrical currents running through her body, giving Crystal a base idea of how the woman looked. She saw the distinct turn of her head and Crystal looked in that direction also. She couldn't discern between people who was a guard and who was not, but she guessed that the woman saw guards because the currents quickened ever so slightly.

Crystal, moved by this woman's kindness, hesitated a moment. She would have loved to follow the woman, if only to see the world, but she didn't want to be a burden. Biting her lip, she forced herself to hold back those thoughts and instead thought of something else.
"Well, there isn't much I need. Though, would you mind if I tagged along, just until we are out of the city. I promise I won't be a burden. I can guide you out, but outside of the city I'm not sure I could lead you anywhere." Her eyes were a little pleading, though she didn't intend them to be. The truth was Crystal was bored of this city and she wanted to go somewhere else.

From a distance, Seth noticed Vivian being pulled away by a man from the dark kingdom. Just as he was about to go help her, a man rode up on a horse and held a sword to the dark man's throat. He looks to be a man of high stature, from the Knorthian Kingdom, judging by his garments. He watched closely as the blade seemed to glow an odd blueish color. He had remembered stories that were told of the valiant paladins that defended the reaches of the Knorthian lands, but had believed them to be false as they were wild stories of men that accomplished impossible tasks. One of the beggars back in the dark kingdom always used to mumble something about a paladin that had struck down his comrades. What was it that the man used to say? As he remembered the old man's words, he raised a hand to create two more
illusions directed at the two men around Vivian. The illusions caused Seth's voice to ring through the trees around them, amplifying his words so that they could hear. "He stood proud upon his noble steed. All who crossed him would quickly fade. Any man cursed with his presence must flee. Or face the might of the flaming sapphire blade." As he finished, the sword that the paladin held was imbued with blue fire.

Shane noticed the Knorthian girl make her way over to him. "Be careful around these men, you are of great importance to our survival." Shane quickly forged two ice daggers from the rain and gave them to Keyla. "Remember though, you are capable of more than you presume yourself to be." He took a stance and raised his own blade as he prepared to engage more soldiers. The fire is too strong for my water to have an effect, so I will have to slay them with this blade. He charged at a nearby soldier.

Everyone is so calm around here as of late. Nothing for the citizens to get excited about. The same old stuff gets too boring. It's time to cause a disturbance. Adel made his way to the dark army general's residence. Upon arriving he was greeted personally by the general and was welcomed inside. Adel refused to enter appearing to be in a hurry. "I have a task for you."

Nicolai opened his eyes when her heard something behind him. He rose from the rock and made his way over to Acario. "It's rather unusual to see such patience in that of such a young boy. I must admit it is an admiring quality. Let us hope that we discover many more admirable qualities in you." He stood before Acario. "Patience is the first key to understanding your element. Once you fully understand your element, you can learn to take complete control of it. I watched you carefully when we fought. You were so full of rage towards your enemy. There's a reason they call it a 'blind rage'. You must learn to control your emotion or it will control you. There is immeasurable power within you Acario, but you lack control. You can't control what you can't measure. It would take one boulder from you to kill a man, but because of your anger, you decide to use an entire landslide. This is an extreme waste of your energy. You are able to train your mind and dampen that rage." Nicolai walked over to the stream again staring into the water. "I'm going to use my power over air to throw small stones at you from the bottom of this stream. I will vary the sizes of each rock. Your eyes must remain closed, so you'll have to feel the rocks coming at you. All you have to do is destroy the stones. Sound easy enough? Well the only catch is, you have to destroy each stone with a stone of equal size. No smaller and no larger."

"Before we begin, I have one piece of advice for you to remember.... Control is never achieved when sought after directly. It is the surprising outcome of letting go...."
Nicolai raised a small pebble up from the water. "We will practice until the sun sets. Prepare yourself." The pebble flew at Acario as Nicolai raised another.

Alaura's approach was slow but deliberate. Each footstep fell softly on the ground. The battle around her raged, yet it never seemed to touch her as she walked through the fighting, one goal in mind. If you cut off the head of a snake, its body will die also. So it was with all things. So her goal was to go for the head. In truth she would have preferred the head of it all, the man with whom this whole war had started. Since he was out of reach, she would have to make due with the head of these soldiers, the prince who had started heading towards her.

No confusion or curiosity shone in her eerie, emerald eyes. There was but one thing in those glowing orbs, the pure, cold despise of men who burned and hacked away at the forest as if it had no feeling. The forest itself, along with all of its creatures, had actually possessed Alaura, lending to her the strength she required to fight. That was the beauty of being so tied to living things. She was able to call on their strength, borrowing it for a time to enhance her own powers. That was why, in that moment, the green light in her palms spread about her body so that she looked completely inhuman. She looked then like the fabled forest goddess, her white hair streaming behind her and her eyes fixed on her prey. The feral look of each beast flashed through her eyes as she looked to the prince.

She spoke in that haunting language once more and animals burst through the moving trees, attacking anyone who was too close. With the men having been attacked by both earth soldiers and the forest itself, it would be hard to take yet another hit. It wasted little of the woman's power to speak with the animals, and she no more than encouraged them to fight. She didn't control them, she merely reminded them what these men had done. Her own fight was with the man of fire. Her sword came to her then, carried on a green vine, and she stook hold of it in a loose grip. She was now mere feet away from the prince, and she stopped to face him in what seemed to be a clearing amongst the fighting, a space in which the two of them would duel until one fled or died. She spoke no words then, merely looked to him and awaited what she knew was to come. This might very well be her end, but if she died she would make sure he died with her.

Control. The word hit Acario like a brick. It was his loss of control that had brought him here. He had lost his head back in the forest, a mistake he was hoping to correct. However, his rage had envoked some stronger power that flowed deeper within him. As he thought back to the fight, Acario remembered what it felt like to actually control the earth as he pleased. It had become more than just a tool, it had become apart of him and he apart of it. Was that what it felt like to be a master of the earth element? A cohesion of man and earth into one powerful being? Another thought slipped into his head. Alaura, his first real teacher and

Though just a child, Acario's mind was now tuned to fighting, to training, and to becoming a master of his element. Nicolai seemed to already be a perfect teacher. He would hopefully show Acario how to conserve his energy, no matter the colossal amount he may have.

With a silent, determined nod Acario stood and closed his eyes tight, summoning his energies to him. You can already feel the rocks move, just concentrate on the size, he thought himself. The first pebble zipped towards him and Acario flinched, not quite ready. Instead of a small pebble of his own, Acario accidentally created an earthen spike, about his size, that shot from the ground and hit the pebble, sending it off course. Way too much energy there.

Nicolai sent small stones, rocks, and pebbles at Acario one at a time. To his annoyance, Acario could only match the size every five or six rocks. The others were deflected by boulders, small walls, hands, and anything else of large size. After creating an earthen hand from the ground, Acario paused and looked at Nicolai. "It's been hours and this isn't working. I know you said I had patience, but I think its running thin."

As the earth woman stood before him Ferros couldn't help but to feel a wave of excitement. He was itching in anticipation for a fight. The silver haired warrioress was extremely powerful, but Ferros had been hiding his energy, suppressing it and conserving it for the fight that was going to take place. Now he let that power flow through him and a chuckle escaped his lips. Ferros trembled as the surge in energy rushed through his body. He wrapped his arms around his stomach and waist as he began to convulse. Steam began to radiate from his body, smoldering off of his head and shoulders. Ferros' chuckling turned to out right laughter as the steam turned to thick smoke. The area around him was so hot, it would be hard for anyone to breathe if they stood too close.

Suddenly Ferros exploded in blue fire. The flames enveloped his entire body and burned brightly. Only a master of fire could pull off such a feat, and Ferros seemed to be comfortable doing it. The outline of his body was still well defined, and the fire seemed white where his eyes and mouth should have been. The burning boy that was Ferros reached to his waist and gripped the two kamas, twilring them expertly. As he took them in his hands, the scythe-like blades lit on fire, increasing in length. Ferros looked to the woman with a white hot grin. "Shall we dance, then?" Without waiting for a reply Ferros dashed forward, the flames propelling him forward like jet thrusters.

Without a word Alaura moved, her body shifting with the grace and ease of a wind-swept leaf. It shifted so suddenly and swiftly that it was as if she had always stood where she now was. Despite the anger within her, the furious rage boiling through her very veins, she still moved and fought with a sort of calm about her. She was a terrifying sight, this woman with the ease of any trained warrior. She didn't bother to strike out with her blade, knowing that a fire that hot would likely melt the metal. How his own blades managed to withstand such heats she didn't understand. They should have been melting. Still, she was not powerless to defend herself, nor to attack this vile man.

With the slightest flick of her wrist, and without a glance up, small obkevts burst from the ground towards the prince. They seemed to move faster than the eye could follow, and they were tiny enough to get lost with ease. There were hundred of the things, but what they were would become apparent as soon as they came closer. They were thorns, hundreds of tiny, sharp thorns, each laced with a natural herbal poison that would dull the senses. If one so much as scratched an opponent they would feel the limb it had scratched go numb and limp.

Moments after she had sent these thorns, she waved her other hand and a torrent of leaves seemed to come alive. Like a hurricane they swept over the prince. She knew they would likely burn up in his heat, but even so they would be a good distraction, bursting into bright flames around him so as to hinder his sight and allow her thorns to do their work. They were not natural thorns but created of a more dense material so as to withstand the heat long enough to cut this man. Alaura was determined to take him down, one way or another.

Keyla just smiled at Shane as he pointed out she was of importance to their survival
"There are others like me." she said and took the daggers he had forged, spinning them in her hands for a moment. At his encouraging comment she just looked at him and smiled a little before turning to the fire men. As they came towards them she took care of the first one that cam at her, but she didn't even make him bleed, hitting a few points she left him without his ability to firebend, leaving him just like a knorthian, only able to trust their body and mind. A look of terror spread across the soldiers face as Keyla now held the upper hand, being more exprienced with this sort of fighting than he was. In one quick swipe, he lay on his stomach, unmoving while Keyla was barely panting.

Seilynn was a little surprised by Crystals request but didn't really see the harm in it if she could get her out of town. She nodded
"If you can get me out of this town, you are more than welcome to follow me. Don't worry about outside the city, from there I can lead us if you still want to follow." She even smiled a little, kindly. She looked around
"So, where do we go from here to get out?" She asked and looked back at Crystal, moving to the side of the street with her, feeling they were perhaps a little in the way.

Crystal practically jumped at the joy she felt. She would be allowed to follow this woman, if she chose, and would finally be able to experience the world. Her heart was hammering a little in her chest at her excitement, a sound that seemed to thunder in her eyes. She worked to calm herself, looking about for a moment. She could see the signs of people moving about, hear the sounds of their passage and smell the foods in the market, as well as the natural stench of many bodies. She wrinkled her nose slightly at the scent that was only barely perceptible to anyone who still had their sight. Even the naturally blind seemed to have more dull senses than she. It was simply a gift the disease that had killed her parents had given her. Though it had taken her sight, it had left her alive and given her greater sense in smell, touch, taste and hearing.

It took her only a few moments of hard focusing to find the way out, shifting the map in her mind accordingly so they would get lost. She looked to Seilynn, her odd, teal eyes showing nothing of the joy that spread through the rest of her face. Though they appeared to see, they never seemed to show the emotions that would, at times, spread through the rest of the girl.
"Well, since you have offered, I can hardly refuse. It's this way." She said in an excited tone and headed off down the street, leading the way out of the city conveniently the way she herself had come into it.
