Closing the door, Feles looked to her, tail twitching behind him almost nervously. "I apologize for the darkness... I can't take the light." He motioned to the windows that were covered in heavy drapery, only hints of the daylight peeking through here and there. He moved to the desk then, lifting a small cup to his lips and sipping from it as he tried to calm his nerves. It was a lovely brew, one that Youko had brought to him from Gaia. It made him calmer, and tended to either send him off on a cleaning or writing tangent... or made him want to nap.
"I'm glad you came," he said, smiling to her, a bit shyly.

'Did you think I wouldnt?' she asked, a brow arching and slight amused smile on her face. She padded over to him, lightly brushed the hair that threatened to fall across his face and then peered on his desk.
'Writing about me?' she teased, one hand touching his shoulder and she looked at him.
'I dont mind the dark,' she said softly.
'When one cannot see as well...well one has to feel their way around.'

"Not writing anything at the moment," he said, shivering faintly as the purr started to rumble from his throat. It tended to give his voice a hoarse tone to it, but he continued regardless. "My mind is too busy to concentrate." Turning to face her, he wound his arms around her, nuzzling her hair gently. "You look beautiful," he whispered, lips barely moving as he spoke.

She was pleased that he had initiated the embrace; despite how long she had known him for now, she still felt that he might shy away from her if she 'rushed' at him or something. She stroked his back, and let the fingers of one hand tangle into his hair.
'Busy huh? And what are you busy thinking of my Feles?' she smiled at his compliment, and at the purring from within him.

'Her' Feles... The cat smiled then, letting his eyes slip closed. "Thinking of you." And wondering if you're still interested. Of course she was still interested... she was HERE wasn't she?
His grasp tightened for a moment then, his arms holding her to him tightly as his tail whipped around his hips and curled over hers.

'Oh really?' she asked. Well this was going easier then she hoped. If he was thinking of her; well maybe what she had to tell him wouldnt make him run a mile! She smiled at the brush of his tail on her skin.
'Thinking what about me?' she inquired, reaching up and stroking his ears a little.

Feles' ears fell slightly as he looked to her, the worry coming back. "Wondering... if you'll still be interested. I mean, you're an adult now... and I'm still like this." He looked down at himself then, barelyable to hide the scowl. He was scrawny... and gangly... and she was just perfect.

She tilted his head back up, cupping his chin gently in a hand. She seemed to regard him thoughtfully, running a finger of her free hand down his cheek.
'Interested...you could say that,' she breathed softly. This was her moment;
'I ...' she started to say, then shut her eyes. No..yes - this was weak! Or would it make her stronger. She opened them again and looked at him.
'Feles..' she began again.

Whimpering softly, Feles started to pull away. Hand shaking, he reached for the teacup again. "I... I understand if you don't want to be here."

'No!' she exclaimed. He hadnt realised what she meant...not that she had said enough to be understood. She grabbed the hand he was reaching out with and held it to her chest, clasping it with another hand.
'You're going to make me say it arent you? The words I've wrestled with for days.' he must feel under his fingers how much her heart was racing.

"I don't know what you mean," he whispered, shaking his head faintly. "I just know that I'm afraid of losing you now, because there are others that have so much more than I do." Biting at his lower lip, he sighed softly.

She would have to say it;
'Feles I'm not going anywhere! I'm here with you right now.' she said.
'You...you captured me.' she pulled him to her, putting her face close to his so their foreheads almost touched.
'And...I love you,' she whispered.

Feles froze, pale eyes going wide as he watched her for just a moment. It was almost as if he were shocked out of what few senses he had left. Finally, he moved, hands resting on her shoulders to hold her and pull her closer. He leaned in then, letting his eyes slip closed as he brought his lips to cover hers in a soft, almost hesitant kiss.

Aranea wrapped all four arms around him, kissing him back, and just losing herself in his embrace. It didnt seem to have weakened her; admitting to him how she felt - this moment made her felt more powerful then she had ever felt. She let out a soft, pleasurable sigh, breaking the kiss and looking at Feles;
'I told you I was interested,' she teased a little, brushing her nose tip against his.

A wry smile crossed his face as he nestled into her hold. Four arms...
That got his mind racing again.
Snickering to himself, he let his head rest against her shoulder, nuzzling her hair. "I'm glad you're here," he said, his body turning from side to side slightly as he spoke. "I guess I was worried about nothing, hmmm...?"
