(Um...Fun...
I'm not sure the word is in the Inspector's vocabulary, quite frankly. XD;;; And I'm...pretty damn sure he doesn't intend on looking for a mate. Any time soon. Seeeee....dear lil' Javert is from a time period where being gay was a very bad thing. And he's just about as conservative as you can get. So um...yeah, at the moment he has a vague loathing for every anthro ever born, because he figured out pretty quick that all of them like men, and some of them exclusively.
Cedric is a SWEETHEART compared to Javert.
...Why do I only have one cuddly anthro? O.o;;; This is insane. Well, Chiron's cuddly, just not in a good way.)
Ari relaxed a little more into the hug, since it seemed as if they were to be here for a while. Not that he minded at all of course. It was wonderful feeling, being in his mate's arms and feeling loved.

I would give you a reason as to why you only have one cuddly Anthro but I cant, however Ari im sure would be thrilled to see the other anthro your getting that should give him a play mate XD))
Imhotep sighed contentedly and pulled away from Ari reluctantly "want to go for a swim now baby?" he asked softly as he looked into the cats eyes "unless you just want to cuddle more, that I can deal with" he said giggling softly as he kissed his mates forehead.

(Nooo. Chiron is cute! 4laugh 3nodding *loves her little uke to death*
Yeeeah. *snugs the orb she has now* The pretty new anthro probably won't even be comissioned until I get back from Christmas Break, which is in the middle of January.)
"S-sure." The kitten's tail flicked behind him as he continued to cuddle in the grasp of the wolf, rubbing his cheek lovingly against Imhotep's shoulder. After a moment, he pulled away, taking one of the wolf's hands in his own and leading the way.

Imhotep smiled at his kitten as he allowed himself to be lead over to the pool, squeezing his hand a little as they went.

Ari peered back at Imhotep, and then smiled, stopping at the water's edge. Using the wolf to balance, he dipped a toe in the water, biting his lip.

Imhotep walked up behind his mate and wraped his arms around him and placed his chin on over his left shoulder and looked at him "cold is it angel?" he asked the kitten rhetorically since obviously it was or else he wouldnt of done what he had just done. "Come. lets get in together shall we? We will warm up alot sooner if we get in now instead of just waiting around" he said as he kissed his mates neck.

"N-not terribly cold. J-just checking." He snuggled against Imhotep, and arching his neck a tiny bit. This was a great deal more comfortable than swimming, but...swimming could be fun as well. In any event, he saw no great hurry to slip from his mate's grasp.

Imhotep kept kissing his mates neck a little before stopping "we could always leave swimming and just go back to your room and cuddle if you want" he said as he loved just being in his mates embrace and started kissing him a few more times on his neck and inhaling in his sweet scent "I dont mind if we skip this part, espcially if it means being in your arms alot more." he said softly into his ear as he went back to kissing his mates neck and now shoulder area.

The kitten's eyes widened just a bit, and he made a small sound at the back of his throat. Cuddling here by the pool before they were about to go in, that was one thing. Going...to the room...and cuddling. Well. That was something entirely different. Not unwanted, mind, just...scary. Very scary. "I-i-if you d-don't m-mind, maybe w-we could s-swim a while?" He bit his lip at the sensation of lips at his neck and shoulder, as pleasent as they were. "I'm s-sorry, i't j-just that I...I d-don't think...I'm r-ready for..." He trailed off, hoping that Imhotep wouldn't get mad at him, head hanging a little bit.

Imhotp nuzzled Ari before pulling away from him and tilted his head up and looked at him in the eyes "Angel, please dont get me wrong, I love you and I would never do anything to hurt you or make you do anything that you didnt want to do, I apologise if I caused you any upset or worry as it isnt even the last thing I ever wanted to do to you. My intention was not to have sex with you or even make out with you, all I wanted to do was just cuddle you in a place that was a bit better and a bit more comfortable to be in then standing by the pool. If you dont want to go to your room with me then I understand completely, I am sorry for being so abrupt my darling, please forgive me?" he asked softly yet sincerly as he took his hand away Aris chin and hugged him tight, hoping the kitten understood.

He was still biting his lip, slightly angry at himself for making Imhotep worry like he did, or at least, for making the wolf think that the kitten thought him too forward, or just in it for sex or...whatever. He was just...wary. The first words out of his mouth were so soft, almost non-existant. "I k-know you're n-not T-t-tobias." He then cleared his throat, looking up at Imhotep, eyes wide. "N-no! You d-didn't do anything! It's j-just...j-j-just..." The kitten shuddered. "B-bad m-memories." Snuggling up to the wolf, he sighed and then pulled away, a semi-fake smile plastered on his face. "S-shall we g-go in?" Without waiting for much of an answer, the kitten stepped onto the first stair in the water, looking over his shoulder.

Imhotep scolded himself silently and followed the kitten, he didnt never wanted to make Ari remeber his past and yet he did just that. He wanted to be the one who helped him forget it but instead he made him remeber it and he now felt horrible for making his kitten do just what he didnt want him to do. He walked over to the side and sat crouched down, one hand on the side of the pool and got in. He lent on the pool wall and waited for ari, not looking at anyone but the water in front of him and then walked over to Ari and placed his arms around his waist and held him, nuzzling his cheek into Aris chest "those memories might seem bad now my angel but they will make you strong dispite how horrible they may be.
I know that it doesnt seem like it and it is hard to believe that but the memories of my past, though they still haunt me, have made me stronger and continue to do so." he said softly to him as he looked up at him with sad yet gentle eyes "the memories are still making me stronger and I know that some day they will finally not hurt me at all.
Every day they make me stronger and every day they get a little easier to live with and so I know that there will be a day that I can look back on them and realise that they dont bother me any more and that is the day I look foward to, that is the day I will know that my past truely is no longer a nightmare but something that I have taken advantge of and grown from it. I feel bad for making you remeber your past Angel but the memories you have shouldnt be forgotten, they should be remembered and as a person let them strengthen your heart and yourself and I swear it will help you in the long run." he said as he kissed his mates chest and hugged him a little tighter.
"I love you Ari, with you in my life I know we can both completely forget about or pasts and help each other. We are strongest when we are together and the memories we have just make us stronger more so." He said as he moved away from ari after nuzzling him once more and let him continue into the pool.

"O-oh, Imhotep." It was a sigh, the kitten's hands coming up to brush across, and then tangle in the wolf's hair, resting his cheek on top of Imhotep's head. He bit his lips as he listened to the wolf's speech, thinking about what he said very hard. It was oddly contradictory, but the overall message was there: How much Imhotep simply wanted him to be happy. And that together they would do great things for eachother.
After Imhotep moved away, the kitten stood on the first stair for a moment, staring quite blankly at the water. After a moment's thought, he quickly waded in, wrapped his arms around the wolf's waist, placed his head against Imhotep's chest, pressing close and simply not letting go. His eyes were closed tight, as if in distress and yet a satisfied purr rumbled in his chest, transferring itself to the wolf's by sheer closeness.

((I admit i could of written that speech out better. I did it lte at night here so i knew what i wanted to say yet i just wrote without thinking half as much as what i should of ^^;;
at least the message was made it across though XD;; ))
Imhotep was a little bit shocked at this but it definatly wasnt unwelcome, he wrapped his arms around the kitten and rested his head on Aris and just held him close, listening to his purr which relaxed him and made him feel warm in a way. "I love you so much my angel" he said softly as he kissed his mates head and then rested his head back on his and sighed contentedly and just kept holding him, not wanting to let his mate go.

(Heh. It confused me, but then I just shrugged and assumed Ari would get the point.)
Ari continued to purr, pressing himself as close to the wolf as he possibly could. He couldn't have possibly stopped the rumbling sound coming from him, even if he could. It was amazing how much he loved his mate. "I l-love you, I-imhotep." He whispered, hugging the wolf even tighter, if that was possible. "I l-love you."
