He nodded a bit, looking to Finn who, to his delight, did as he had instructed. He raised an eyebrow at her, at the lack of so much as a wince. This particular lesson was usually accompanied with at least an initial, "Ouch!" He nodded his head to the side. "Change of plans." He said, having spoted the problem. Though the coals were hot enough to burn through the normally toughened skin on the foot, he had no idea how leathery the skin on the bottom of her feet might be. "Please step, instead.." He snapped his fingers, a circle of small, looking near-dead flames erupting on the concrete. "Step on the flames, please."

He watched intently, then nodded. He smiled slightly, "Very good. That seems to have the desireable effect. Now, I'm sure you're wondering why I'm asking you to do this, yes? In order to use fire. In order to gain it's respect, you must--and I cannot stress how much--respect it. As I'm sure Mouko will tell you, Ho is a very.. shall we say.. Stubborn Element. One of the best, and most effective, ways of respecting Fire is to know what it feels like to be burned. A simple candle can scortch the tips of your fingers if you run them over too slowly, and fire can reach temperatures in excess of Twenty-Billion Degrees.." He frowned slightly. "Celsius." He knelt next to the circle of fire on the floor. "Ho is based heavily on the user's Emotions. Anger, Hatred, and Passion are three of the most commonly associated emotions to Fire. However, when happy, someone can see a small campfire in a completely different light. And, visa versa, Ho see's you in a different light as well. He smiled genuinly, then snapped his fingers. Atop his middle finger and thumb ignited a small flame. "Watch this closely," he said, and slowly, his features became much more stern, his eyes narrowed slightly, his mouth straight, rigid. The fire that burned atop his hand, without burning his hand, seemed to change. It flickered more violently, lashing out at dust particles that wavered too close. Seph twisted his wrist, and the flame disappeared. "Do not, however, base your prowess in Ho strictly on the level of your emotions. The stronger the emotion, the hotter, and oftentimes more volatile, the Fire that is given to you." He smiled softly. "I've found that Love is a very powerful emotion to act upon. As is," he added darkly, "revenge."
He looked back to the circle of fire, after this rather long Monologue, and smiled once again, "Now, if you please, step back into the flames."

Finn paid close attention to this speech, then thought of her happy-go-lucky nature wondering if she would ever be able to get such a strong flame. Then when the order was given to step back onto the flames she may have dropped dead on the floor. And thats when she decided that he was nuts and she would just have to deal.

Turning back to the now dreaded/hated flames she looked them over wondering how high she would have to jump to put them out in one stomp, deciding that he would probably make more even if she did, she stepped onto the flames once more. And yelped again. Then shot a look back to seph that clearly said 'your going to pay for this' just before she started hopping from foot to foot to handle the heat. Which didn't last long before she stepped back out of the flames and patted her feet once more.

She turned to face Seph, he had just made her jump onto flames three times and after that he had no meds here?!?! She could have shot him.
" I’m fine! Just give me a minute!" she said as she tested her feet.

It was a rather odd sensation as she could actually feel the ground now. Something she hadn't felt since nearly childhood, the fire must have burned off her calluses. Lucky her that was all it did.
