He was so dead. So very, very dead. No, it wasn't exactly the fire Scyeth was worried about (though the heat should probably have made him worry), it was definitely Dante. He'd met the man once and something about him...well, Scyeth was not reveling in the thought of being caught. They were going to kill him. Something sparked nearby and Scyeth jumped sideways. Hello, space cadet! Time to focus on the thing at hand!
He needed to find the room before Dante and Ardanay caught him. Then they could help Alex and whoever else she thought was in here. Right. Gods, but he did wish he paid more attention when he was given a tour. Coming to a split, Scyeth bounded left. It looked less fiery. Please room, be left.

What the hell was that? Who were these people really... to say he was bewildered was an understatement but Nash couldn't very understand any of it. He hadn't known the student More but judging by the words floating around on everyone's lips he had picked up on the other's name and watched in awe and confusion as he simply broke down the gate. No harm to his own body.
The fire he had helped to contain was forgotten at this point. No need to focus on that as much it was working out find and there were still others doing their part on the other end. He moved away from the back burn content to just sit and rest a moment. His skin heated from the flames and the heat of the night due to the fire. Wiping at his brow he barely caught a movement in time to see a young blonde rushing toward the building. "Ah he--" He caught himself before calling out what could he do? Flopping to the ground he rested, his legs were a little shakey at this point from all the excitement and he could do nothing else but watch and wait.

It seemed to move in slow motion for the department Head. Flames crackling around him, mind whirring with ideas that just couldn't form properly. Things that made sounds and didn't connect. It was all a toying game that he wasn't sure he had time for. More had been astounding, pushing in like that. And then the other boy... darting in as quick as the flames themselves? Well. That took guts. Guts and stupidity. And the blonde that darted in must've had a lot of that.
Especially since he seemed willing to accept punishment from authority. Although, in some circumstances, students don't think. And Ardanay was willing to stand up for those students. Not a pushover. But enough to see the truth behind desperation. But those matters had to be dealt with later, for now... he had to find that kid and bring him back.
Without another word, and at the command of Dante, he took off into the building, heat immediately pelting like a massive wave from above and below. It was air pressure and heat, fire and embers. It was everywhere, and he was not immune. Fortunately, the building still had it's familiar hallways. And though crumbling, he knew quickly they were negotiable. They had to find the other and save him too now. Now there were possibly five victims: the two prior, the student, Dante, and himself. Joy.
As he took off running, he made sure he went in the direction he thought he'd seen the blonde go. One step at a time. This first and then the others second and the fire last.

More wasn't sure how long he had walked. His mind was still numb from what just happened, and it seemed that his body was dragging himself and ignoring everything around him. By the time the young man had snapped out of his daze, he was already within the building. More fabrics from his shirt had burned off. Disregarding his look, More looked around. From what he could see and remembered, this was one of the storage rooms that Lorioth had used to place all the tools and equipments. The air smelt horrible from a mixture of burning rubber and plastic. The young man covered his nose and frowned. The automatic sprinkler was never started. There must have been something seriously wrong in the main room. Someone shut off the security system of the building, perhaps?
A trial of heat swooped by, surprising More. Looking up the young man realized that he was suddenly surrounded by flames. These flames, however, felt different. They felt hot to his skin. The young man frowned again, knowing that there was something off with the fire. The more he started, the more unnatural the flames appeared. In fact, the young man could have sworn that he saw a cynical face hidden within, laughing and mocking him, but not dare to approach as if it feared More's presence. Was the fire a mere accident? More was not sure anymore. If the fire was intentional, then....
Someone was trying to kill Lina?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kenth, like the other teachers, was shocked at what More had done. There was, however, an immense feeling of triumph after the gate had been re-opened. It meant there was still hope for the two people still inside. The doctor quickly entered the building and looked around for a possible route to the animal room. He disapproved, however, of Dante's order. Turning around and facing the students, Kenth gestured an invitation to the boys.
"Come, we need a lot of help if we want to put out the fire and find the people we need to find at the same time."
For Kenth, he cared less about the student's safety. There was only one goal in his head, and that was to save Alex, to see that she was okay...
You are going to be okay, because I will save you.

The youth had watched his boyfriend dash into the fire, and still, he felt so apathetic. It was if the flames themselves had drained him of all his will, fed off his anger and left him behind like a dried husk. Even acknowledging the lack of motion on his part didn't make him inclined to move. Dark brown eyes shifted over to two other students near by, neither of them familiar.
"Hey," he addressed them. One was clutching the strangest hat he'd seen while wearing his brother's shirt, and the other looked like a country boy. "It'll be okay. We can only do so much." His words were surprisingly void of bitterness, making him sit up right a little more. RuiZhi glanced over to the building, noting that others were starting to go in. It didn't matter what had happened, because now there was something to be done. He caught a glimpse of white hair, and knew the doctor was finally here.
Pushing himself to his feet slowly, he smiled to the two, jutting his chin towards the building. "It's taken long enough, but we can finally start living up to our namesake." Saviors. Brushing off his pajama pants, he jogged towards the building without hurry, patting another new face on the back in passing (Al). Entering the building, he squinted at the heat that beat around his glasses, looking around and towards the stairs. He didn't know if they'd be safe to climb, but it didn't matter; that's where the fire was. That was where he'd go.
With only a backward glance, he moved into the building, ignoring the sting of heat against his bare skin. Quick strides took him to where he knew the stairwell was; he just hoped it would hold.

They were allowed in? Kenth had really suggested that? He looked to the other students, not really knowing (or really caring) what they did. He stared at the backburn for a bit deciding that he honestly didn't really give a frick about it and soon the bare chested brunette was running in to catch up. Gladly, he had remembered to at the least put on slippers before running out but it was damn hot in there.
Strangely he was wrong for the emergency sprinklers just weren't on. This...this was certainly off. He didn't want to believe it but something definately abnormal was here. Weiyuan mentally growled, he didn't like magic all too much. He had accepted it fine enough but now it was just stalking him. The need for something scientific called to him.
Grey spotted a flash of black and he stopped. Rui was going up. The animal room, that was where they had hoped that Alex and whoever was with her had found a refuge. He muttered a proverb of good luck towards the shrinking back before going the opposite way. He didn't want to face any sort of magic so he head towards science. The control room.

Alexander's watery brown eyes followed Zhi up, watching him wander into the building like it was just another day of early morning class. Was that normal? Wouldn't he get burned alive? None of these kids had shirts, well a few did, but it didn't seem to faze them like it should. Another boy ran after, Wei who had given him shirt. He now felt so bad for taking it, leaving the him without any protection as flimsy as it was. He really wasn't helping at all just sitting and whining.
Pulling his hat lower down by the flaps, the little boy stood up and wandered forward mindlessly. It was a surreal experience to be active and well still following but not because it was his only choice, he could have stayed but he didn't want to. He followed Zhi's path to the stairwell. Good lord it was hot! His poor little brain was probably baking in his hat, but at least it wasn't getting singed. The lesser of two evils he supposed.
"Hey, wait--!" He began stepping up the stairs, pulling back from the scorching handrail that sizzled his palm. He kept walking, waiting for the boy to finish up his flight of stairs before catching up, so the extra weight didn't send them crashing down.

Micajah sighed and rubbed his shoulders as he watched everyone make their way towards the building and in the flames that licked at the walls and windows, and all he could think as he felt his legs move to follow them like an obedient dog was 'this is going to need some lotion'.
"This is dumb, this is stupid. Any common sense would say regardless of what we are being trained for and what we are capable of, one should not and normally would not run into a burning building."
He could say that all he wanted, but his instinct for movement and awareness to stay alive took over as he entered the inferno, his eyes scanning the area to see where anyone had gone, if he could have spotted them in their fast movements. After all, he did sort of lag behind when they'd all be told to go in, but...
Ah, a movement. I'll follow that way.
Someone caught the corner of Micajah's eye, someone without a shirt and someone who seemed to know where they were going...so he decided to follow and let whomever was in front of him be the guide.

The brunette turned, faintly hearing footsteps behind him. It was another blond he didn't know. There were certainly a lot more blonds in this school than he thought. Or maybe he just wasn't keeping up with the number of students coming into the school. "We're going down to the control room, try to force the emergency sprinkler system on. If you see any fire alarms, pull them." With that he went back on his path. Damn, they needed to hurry. He could already feel irritation in his lungs.
Finally, Weiyuan spotted a sign indicated downward stairs. He paused a moment, feeling how hot the knob was. He grimaced before turning it, biting on his lip so not to cry out and scare the one behind him. He'd see to that later. "Come, quickly!"

The Chinese youth padded along the second hallway, pausing as he heard the footfalls of another behind him. RuiZhi turned, blinking at the boy he did not know. It didn't matter now, did it? They had to work together, and it was now or never. He extended his hand to the boy. "When we get to the next floor, find whatever fire extinguishers you can. I know there's a few in the classrooms."
Should have rolled a one, he thought to himself grimly. He tried not to focus on his bare feet, which were going to be beyond walking capability come the next day. As RuiZhi's adrenaline left him, it also left him numb, and the lacerations and burns weren't stopping him yet. He had to run with it for all it was worth. "I'm RuiZhi. Shout if you see anything weird, okay?"

The bright baby blue eyes of the youth widened as he witness his fellow students start into the building, but was more shocked that they were allowed to enter to begin with. It didn't seem to add up to him logically, but who was he to question the higher ups as well as the longing of those who entered to save those whose lives were at stake. Elijah too wanted to join and started for the building, putting aside the instinct to bolt while trudging forward with the intent to catch up to the others. His movements were involuntary, his expression engaged.
The brunette was soon in after the blond who was aiming for Alex and Weiyuan but as soon as he entered he paused, throwing an arm over his eyes as a magnificent burning sensation riddled through his body, attacking him in his bare face first. Blinking, he pulled his arm away, peering through squinting eyes about the dark room, feeling every hair on his body stand on end as the heat about the room engulfed him.
Where were they? Where was anybody? Elijah wasn't familiar with the Science building to begin with and even if he was it seemed that anyone with an extensive knowledge as to where things were positioned would have a difficult time finding what was where in the turmoil of the burning building. Staying still wasn't helping him either? Darting to his left, he went in search of a hall, heading in whatever direction he could in hopes of running into someone.

Now it was chaos. Students running into the building right and left, all of them getting lost. There was no sense of organization to it. No helping it either. But now each student would have to fend for themselves or get hurt, maybe die, trying. It was like suicide. It was like watching them go to their deaths right before his emerald eyes. It was just like that day, so many years ago, when his parents died. When everything in him died. When this whole thing began. There was fire and danger. The only thing missing was those stupid creatures from Hell, and Nat was glad they weren't anywhere to be seen.
In annoyance, he ran his fingers through his hands and debated with himself a little more. Jaden was out here. Jaden was safe out here. Kids were in there. Being idiots. Unsupervised (thanks to Kenth), endangered, (also thanks to Kenth), and probably indescribably lost, while the good Professors Araquenosse and Veilwood had no idea. It was already starting to look worse. He had no choice. Although he was not a Science student, not yet, and although his sense of direction was not as good as perhaps a true Science student, or a teacher, he knew things. Just a few things.
But ...would Jade be okay out here? If he went in... would Jaden go too? If he did and he got hurt, Nat would curse himself for eternity. He'd promised himself. Promised to keep that one person safe. The only person that mattered anymore. His only friend. If something happened to the blonde with mismatched eyes, he knew only turmoil would ensue. But his chest tugged at the fire. At the building.
He took a last look at his best friend, and ran in. Ran in as if he could've saved someone. As if he was being given a chance to save his family. As if this could make everything okay. The heat flew in his face like a jetstream, and he stumbled back a moment, before conquering it and pressing forward. He thought for a moment that the air itself would light him on fire and that would be it. But no. He could press in a little more. People were darting down hallways and up staircases. Well ... the fire was up. So naturally, logically, so were people.
And so, without a word, Nathaniel delved into the flaming building, toward staircases and students, to try and lend a hand. He knew that tomorrow he was going to have one bad sunburn.

This probably wasn't a good idea... in fact, it was a horrible idea. Allowing them all to enter the building without a plan? No sense of direction, no order? What were they thinking? All this ran through Nash's mind as he followed deftly behind two other students (Mic and Wei) only to catch up as the other began to speak.
Nash nodded, looking around as they walked. He didn't have anything more to contribute but an extra pair of hands. Following in silence he kept his eyes trained on anything that would help. An axe, fire alarm or even an extinguisher would be useful at this point. They'd need something to ensure their safety...
"Hmm?" At the sudden shout, Nash looked toward the call heading that way with hurried steps. "What is it?" He asked. The two probably hadn't expected him but now wasn't the time to debate that.

Dante, for his part, did not hear Kenth's order. If he had, he'd probably have chewed out the other man; as earlier stated, he was not thinking the straightest, and he was not tired, and he did not take well to other people making orders in regards to students that he was responsible for.
This would all have been if he'd seen it.
But he hadn't.
He tried to think, head spinning from the smoke. That student...his name...his name was--
"SCYETH!" He rounded the left corner, following the boy. "Scyeth, stop!"
Atara Anin, this was starting to look horrible.
But now was not the time to lose himself.

Seriously? Did the man just suggest that they go in?
It was as if his feet were rooted to the ground, as he watched the others rush into the burning building to help put out the fires, save the people or, really just get themselves killed. Al felt a light pat on his back and as he turned he saw the Chinese boy he had seen earlier as the young man rushed into the building, a few others following suit.
It was against all logic but he finally moved his legs and ran towards the building, diving in with his arms covered protectively on his face to avoid any burns. This was by far the stupidest thing he'd ever done-- but it did feel that he was doing something.
