Predetermined plots and event lines kinda defeat the purpose of an RP, IMO
However, I could set it up like a D&D game, where I give you guys prompts and you respond to them, and then I tell you what your response did, and you respond to the response, and like that.
How does that sound?

I wasn't suggesting a predetermined plot, i was just trying to figure out what she was getting at.
a DND like game could possibly be fun, but it shouldn't replace the old one.
maybe 2 games running simultaneously, a DND with a predetermined plot and a free-roving RP.

I don't think I could handle running two games. I'm pretty terrible when it comes to running just one. sweatdrop
Anywhoo... deje rah and I have been working on the problems we ran into last time. So, look for a new thread sometime after Thanksgiving. (For all you non-Americans out there, Thanksgiving is next Thursday.)
Also, we are changing the name of the kingdom, because Sandares didn't quite fit with the rest of the place names. And this new thread is going to take place roughly one thousand years after the ending of the last one, so start thinking up new Charries.
Be advised that the number of sages has been cut from ten to five. Each of the 'light' Sages is taking on a 'dark' magic in addition to their own element. Also, we're going to have more of a plot that they should get involved in. The pairings are:
light-dark
water-time
wind-spirit
earth-space
fire-energy
Don't worry, the reason behind this (IC) will be explained in the new thread. As far as the OOC reasons, the thing is, ten is a big roleplay. It's hard to keep that many people posting and active, and besides which it's hard to keep them in the plot. There will be a few non-sage roles as well, but those will be largely premades.
