Better Off Nameless
A.D. braced himself against the shockwave, but still jumped back a little when it hit. He looked at what was once his friend and smirked. "If you expect me to believe that crock of rhetoric, then you're just as dumb as I thought you were." He then looked at his good friend, Herr Doktor, and smiled. "What show would you be talking about?"

eek ~The doctor looks confused for a moment and then just grins. Opening her parasol she withdraws a refrigerator size box on a hover jack. Gliding it over to Better Off Nameless the Doctor says,~ "Use these in my absence."

~Next she pushes a button on the machine, you see a white light shoot out of the machine and engulf you. Suddenly you are overwhelmed as the real G-Corp Documents flood your mind, the formula for RegenerX is laid out for you, several cures included, an object that looks like a lead pipe that you for some reason know as the Pipe Hawk floats in front of you and finally a compulsive urge to take over all of the Sizzler Steak Houses causes you to black out.~ eek

~Dead1ikeme you see the Doctor press a button and a white light shoot out of the machine and engulf Better Off Nameless. The character disappears in a flash of light. Next the Ash Fjorde press another button and this time a blue light emits and engulfs the Doctor. The machine starts going nuts and then belts out,~ "DIMENSIONAL TRANSPORTER ONLINE. BEAM-OUT IN TEN SECONDS."

~As the machine counts down, you watch as the blue light gets brighter and brighter. When the machine reaches zero, there is a bright flash and Ash Fjorde is gone. Before you can say or do any thing, a rumbling from the machine causes you to pause and then everything goes white. In front of you, you can see an object that you think might be called Qxr-Sxt, but it looks like an ordinary lead pipe to you. You can see one hole drilled in the bottom and five holes in the top. One end is capped off completely. Before you can do anything, the whiteness clears and you find yourself staring upward. You can see through four floors and figure that was were the machine was once located. Plus you're free from the force field. Dr. Ash Fjorde and Better Off Nameless are nowhere to be seen.~

Shut up, Michael, I told you guys I wanted to move it in the first place, I just couldn't find a way. Who moved it, anyway?

"Salmon Gutter?!" A.D. sputtered when he came to, it had been a long time since he had passed out like that. He sat up and wondered where the good Doctor was, but couldn't see her at all, anywhere, so he stood in place. For some reason, he had information that was from some secret facility in England, as well as the original G-Corp documents in his head. He looked around for the Pipe Hawk, but couldn't see it, either. "Where am I?" he thought to himself.

~You notice that you are in a rather bland room. Walking out of the room, you look up and down the hall. Down the hallway you can see the destruction that the machine wrought when it imploded. Up the hallway you can see the large refrigerator box floating on the hover-jack.~

"Well, it seems like I'm still in the same facility, but why does it look so different?" He asked himself this, but did not realize that he had verbalized his inner-monologue. He started down the hall cautiously, surveying the destruction.

~Looking in the room that once housed the machine, you see that roughly four rooms above you and five room below you have been devastated. What walls that do remain, meaning the doctor didn't remove them or the machine didn't destroy, are charred black and look rather brittle.~

It is upon one wall that two eyes appear from no where as if the wall had been alive. She, Marie, the daughter of A.D. would have liked to enter earlier but she knew it was polite to wait until the 'controler' had spent most of her energy. "I always liked a grand entrance." She said in a satin voice. "Tell me controler," she posited to the doctor whom she cared little for the name, " Do you think you can live long enough to see the affects of your machine?"

~A voice from down the hall, coming from the refrigerator size box can be heard saying~ "Controler? What is this controler? If I have been activated, then the Doctor is either no longer amongst the living or her machine has worked and she is no longer one with this dimension. ~A hum can be heard and then~ System scans show that this dimension has been locked down. Travel to other dimensions is now impossible. The doctor's machine has worked, though it sacrificed itself in the end for the doctor's ideas."

"heh, so controler you have eluded the status quo. I applaude your efforts. However, you have wasted a great amount of potential on a futile effort( running away from problems)." She had been talking to herself it seemed but she had infact made some sort of ethereal connection after she had become Dr.Ash's contact. "You see controler, I am a privilaged benefactor fro your own experience. Though you have gone beyond the scope of the realm...I have been able to follow you through ionic signals resonating your your life force. Think of it as a bread crumb trail leading me...directly to you." She held out her hand pointing in a direction, where upon a portal opened and she could see the doctor directly as if she were watching a television screen. "You cannot hide from me no more than you could your own shadow....of which I have become apart."

Stepping through the shimmering portal, the Doctor nods to you.~ "The voice from the ether was mine and mine alone. I am Doctor Ash Fjorde and yet I am not. Who I really am and what my purpose is will be discovered, but on a future date. By the by, why do you keep calling me 'Controller'? I control nothing, yet I control all."

~At which point, she begins to survey the ruins of the room. Pointing down, she says,~ "Shouldn't someone help that creature?" ~Referring to Deadl1keme's character.~

~At which point, she begins to survey the ruins of the room. Pointing down, she says,~ "Shouldn't someone help that creature?" ~Referring to Deadl1keme's character.~
Marie chuckled at Ash. "Omnipotant yet ignorant. I call you controller for a reason, and like your own purpose, that you hide from yourself, it will be revealed in time. What you see here...even the poor misguided fool(dead...me's character) was simply a manipulation. This building, the circumstances revolving around us all...we are all apart of your dream and yet we are also responsible for our own selves as you are a part of our dream. Why, even I may be nothing more than your imagination...but as you well know good doctor, reality is comprized of multiple view points that, if one knew how, can be stretched past the limits of belief and into what you so callously refer to as 'the ether'. What you must understand, and why I am here, is that there is something beyond even the ether it is a point, a state of mind, a matter of being that is so far beyond that you exist and are obliterated at the exact same time...that is to say, you no long are yourself to the ot hers around you even though you are alive, and retain all recallection of your past lives. This goes beyond the status of godhood and it is acheivable...but as with most things it is not without its costs. To reiterate...I am here to make you believe, to pull the esoterical curtains back and reveal the clockwork behind everyday life..." She paused seeing a look of doubtful disbelief in Ash's eyes. "You are affraid of the consequences of such talk are you not...you have seen in the future what may become of the world if something like this were to be done by the wrong person...fear not. Only you and I can see beyond the scope...and listen to the claireon of this metaphor that we refer to as 'life'." The last word life was spoken as if it were mocking the word itself. At this point Marie held out her hand to the doctor and smiled in a half-sinister way. "Now, controller, are you ready to follow the white rabbit into wonderland?"
