Deitric watched the man fly out in disbelief. The hell was he going?
"Hmph. Coward," the warrior muttered in contempt. He spat out the wad of thyssel back he had been chewing on, feeling a little more rejuvenated-- it was time to start moving again, almost. He continued to turn his eyes about the room though, particularly that throne - was there something special about it?

Running from the woods, Chen comes to a stop, seeing the APC gone. Quickly going to his radio, he calls for any Greywater members in the vicinity.
"This is Chen, do anyone hear me?"

 There was nothing special about the throne, just a fancy glorified throne for someone who was perhaps past their time in a world that wanted what they had, and one of the ability to get it. Downstairs, however Bryant was looking at Xehart as if he was scum beneath his shoes. "You're not going anywhere with me." And then Xehart would find several zombie robots swarming him. Not just one or two. But a total of five to start as Bryant motioned them forward, and Bryant turned to go inside the Palace, the others there parting before him.

Deitric reached his hand up to touch at the unit in his ear. It was still working, surprisingly enough.
"This is Deitric, Greywater Company. Ignore the previous relay-- Joseph has ran off to hide."
The throne didn't seem to be much more than that.. He looked a little closer, moving closer to it. He kept out of arm's reach though. Just for safety's sake.

Chen heard the reply, raising an eyebrow.
"You mean the guy who was with us who couldn't keep his hand off the radio? He took the APC? Did he say where he was going?"

"No clue.. He just ran off. Sent a relay to go to the Water Plant, but I ignored it. Bound to find something here..," Deitric relayed back idly.

"Where are you? If it's the Palace Dome, trust me, there's nothing else left in there for you to check."
Chen kept an eye around here, not letting up his guard even for a second.

"Bound to be something..," Deitric offered, moving over the metal skeletons in his exploration. He was more fascinated by the room and it's decoration than anything else. He brushed his fingers along the main pillar that was in the room. It was probably just support, but maybe there was something he could read off of it. Well, not in this gloom.
Deitric's fingers shimmered with electricity, tiny arcs and bolts jumping around his pointed index and middle fingers as he held them up to the pillar to try and see if there was something he could discern from it. Pictographs, words, anything at all.

Switching the frequency, he talks into the mic as he relays a message to Joseph.

Well, s**t.
Deitric gave the pillar a quick boot to the.. whatever serves as a pillar's face, then turned and headed out of the room. He reached down and grabbed one of the dead.. well, non-functioning skeleton things and began to drag it along by the jawbone. Maybe someone else could discern more information from it than he could.
He began to ascend back up to the top room of the Dome, where the entrance lay - and the mass of zombies, Xehart, Byrant, and further off, Chen.
"Already on my way."

Hearing Joseph's relay, Chen looks away for a moment, as if to grieve before returning his frequency to Deitric.
"He's dead," he says into the mic. "I'm calling to see what's taking so long with those reinforcements."
And with the channel switched to the main....
"This is Greywater, Chen Ning. This is an emergency. The city has been overran by metallic skeletons. Assumption is that a company by the name of Cat Cradle is behind this. We need reinforcements prompto! I repeat, the situation has reached critical."

The pillar going up the center of the palace shook and crack, parts of it collapsing in on itself but on the whole staying intact--almost as if it was hollow, and a large object was being launched up through it.

Deitric stopped suddenly. Turning about, he looked at the pillar. What the hell just happened? It felt like there was a bit of a seismic disturbance.
"Hold on. I think there is something down here..," Deitric mumbled into the communication device as he drug the skeletal remains of one of his opponent's back with him. He moved slowly, carefully, taking measured steps as he moved back into the throne room. He wasn't in the mood to be caught unawares.
"Is anyone there?" He asked quietly, pulling out a tomahawk with his left hand while he dragged the skeleton in his right, moving round to look at the part of the pillar that had collapsed.

((Guys, the entrance is down below. The top of the Palace dome was a link error on our part. The dome is still a roof top dome. Or at least what's left of it. Bryant and company are downstairs.))
