Meredith continued to kiss him, seeming to have no plans to halt where this was going when suddenly she pulled back and simply rested her chest against his and looked up at him with a smirk on her face. His hands were still on her waist and her legs were still wrapped around his but she simply rested her head on his shoulder and sighed with a smile on her face and then decided to tease him. "You're pretty easy for someone that doesn't have a heart beat." She didn't know why but she found it absolutely adorable how easily he came into the situation with her and she hoped that he wouldn't think her a tease though she was honestly fine with things going either way.

Veroen's face turned blank, trying to snap out of the trance he had fallen into, trying to not be turned on by the love of his life. He held his breath, as she laid there, and sat completely still, letting time erode his urges.
He then chuckled at her statement. "Speak for yourself, Lycan girl." he said with a grin, just messing with her, not meaning it in an offensive way whatsoever. He was speaking of how she was the one to start. He smiled again, finding his comment somewhat humorous.

"Is that your way," Meredith asked with a chuckle, "of coping with the fact I'm gonna be really hairy and furry someday and possibly stinky too? I wonder if I'll slobber a lot and gross you out. Or maybe I'll regurgitate my food for my kids. I'll bet that'll turn you on, hey?" She laughed and gently brought her lips to his again. "I guess you can look on the bright side. Even though I'll be a big, stinky, hairy dog I'll still look the same in human form and you won't give me bruises when we shag." She giggled at the Austin Powers, British term and gently began tracing the planes of his face, taking in his beauty.

Veroen chuckled at her statement. It was true, he wouldn't have to be so careful and gentle all the time. He somewhat liked the thought of that. It would be odd and unexpected, however. a Lycan in love with a Vampire...
It was different, but the more Veroen spent time with her, the more and more comfortable he became with the idea.
"Yeah, i guess you are right." He said with a smile, and kissed her back.

"So when vampires and lycans always say the other smells bad is that actually true or is just your typical greeting because you guys don't like eachother very much? Have you even taken the time to actually smell a lycan or are you one of those vampires that have never said that in the first place? Wow ... You know what I just realized ... You probably know more about lycans than I do and I have one for a brother and I've hunted like how many of them. Whoa ... that whole rant was kind of uncalled for ... I think I'll stop asking questions and making silly comments that make me seem weird."
She smiled when he kissed her back and when he decided to admit that she was probably right about the whole being gentle thing. Eden rubbed her nose with his for an Eskimo kiss and then cuddled up to him, resting her head on his chest, her arms wrapping around his back. "Yeah. Do you think I'll go insane and try to eat you and my kid and end up having to be ... put down? Was there ... did you change at all when you became a vampire? Like not physically, of course you did physically but mentally. I know lycans and vampires aren't the same but you both were humans at one point so I guess it can't hurt to ask."

Veroen thought about it for a moment.
"Lycans don't smell so bad, it only affects us if we happen to dislike the Lycan, and in most cases Vampires never like Lycans, so we always say they smell bad. I don't have much of a problem with the scent of your child, because i have nothing against him. Its a little hard to explain...but the scent gets stronger when a Lycan transforms." He finished his explanation, and then continued on to the next one.
"Yes and no. I was still me, but it felt like I was having withdraws, and I needed blood, which changed me a little. but I was still the same me, thought the same way, acted the same, but it was as if i was in a completely different body, which felt different. And yes, i do know more about lycan's than you, because that is what my entire life was once based upon: exterminating Lycan's whenever I could. Jaden was always my main goal however. I spent more time studying him and his moves and habits more than any other being in the world." He paused, recalling a time when a fellow vampire stood up to him.
"About 149 years ago, I was killing Lycan's left and right, and a Void Vampire by the name of Claud Venkstine, attacked me for it. He was married to a Lycan, the Lycan I was hunting next. I almost died in that fight. He was very powerful. That night, I figured out the weakness to a Void Vampire on my own, almost by accident. I killed him, and he tried to kill me using the void with his last breath. The Void began to consume me, and kill me. However, his wife saved me..." He paused for a moment, remembering that night very clearly. A troubled look overcame his face as he recalled the events of that night. "...She sacrificed herself to the void, and only a fraction of it was able to do anything to me. But her sacrifice did more than just advert the void from me to her, the fraction of the void that still got to me, fused in with me, and thats how i got this mark..." he said, lifting up his sleeve on his left shoulder, where a mysterious looking tattoo was. "Its what gives me a tiny connection to the void, allowing me to dissapate into shadow every now and then. It comes in handy, being an assassin and all..." He said. "I still have no idea why she did that. But after that, i stopped the Lycan extermination spree, but still hunted and tracked Jaden down to New York. I've been here ever since..." he said, finishing finally. This was odd, he never usually told anyone ANYTHING about his past, not to anyone. But he still had something else he hadn't told anyone, not even Alasdair, or Eden, that was a huge event in his past. It involved the day he got turned.
For some reason he did not know, he all of the sudden realized that he had just opened up to Eden. Not once had he ever done that, not since he was a small boy, years before he became an assassin, and years before he became a Vampire. A somewhat shocked and thoughtful expression crept onto his face, for this had baffled him.

"Oh ... is my kid that ... smellable? s**t ... this is just gonna get worse when I plumpen right up isn't it? I don't think it'll be very fun to be a walking blue berry with a kid that smells yummy to probably a lot of beings in New York. Ugh ... Vampires, the sicko ones, like pregnant women with kids so I'm really going to have to shoot a few faces in the next few months I'm sure ... Bleh. Why can't they just piss off and eat old people or something? Oh well I guess it's kind of hard to pick and choose like that but still."
"Ugh ... That stupid Jaden wolf guy tried to strangle me when I was completely out of it, lucky for me I was still doped out on that f**ked up serum so it didn't crush my neck. I know it would have if I was normal like I am now and that Tokeru probably would have gotten himself killed because something just seems ... I dunno ... there's something strange about him. He definitely wasn't very kind, either, he was fully prepared to rip me to shreds for no reason and we were in a f**king cathedral for God's sake. I guess I'm alive though so I don't need to b**ch about it too much but jeez, some people are really rude!"
Meredith listened to his story and afterwards wasn't fully sure what she wanted to say first nor what she'd made of it just quite yet. "Holy s**t ... I never even thought to ask how much older you were than me. I guess ... I'm just glad you made it though and she decided to save you."

Veroen was quiet for a moment. He nodded in agreement to what she said, then added,
"Yes, I was fortunate." He said then cocked an eyebrow. "I have been here since medieval times. When assassin's were not as common as they are now."

She smiled and hugged him close, genuinely grateful that the lycan had chosen to spare Vereon despite the perishing of her husband. The huntress brought her cheek to his and her arms squeezed him around his shoulders as she remained sprawled out on top of him. "You're really lucky and she must have been a pretty decent person and she was probably looking to be reunited with her loved one. I owe her quite a bit for keeping you alive for me. Wish I could thank her and let her know that you're gonna have to be putting up with a smelly, gross dog just like her husband did. It's pretty amazing you're so tolerant of all this, though, I mean ... We were abrupt in the first place but me just barging in here and becoming a lycan eventually ... Just ... thanks. Thanks for putting up with all of my bulls**t."
Meredith then looked up at him curiously through her purple eyes and they seemed to flicker with a slight unuttered amusement. "Oh wow. I'm dating someone that's centuries my senior but doesn't look a day over twenty, how many women get to brag about their boyfriends like that, huh?" She chuckled and gently messed up his hair only to stroke the right side of his kiss tenderly and bring her own face forwards to claim his lips once again. It was just unbelieveable how perfect he was and how she had an impossible time at pointing out his flaws. She saw nothing but good, of course there was bad but she had grown to love it as well as the good.

Veroen smiled at her, and said, "For a while, i wished she would have just let me die, but I have seen good things in this world, things that have made my long life worth while. Things like you." He said, winking at her.
He then laughed at her other statement. "Yeah, I might have met your great great great great great great great granparents at some point and time. But I'll have to admit, no girl, not even Lily, has ever captured my heart like you have..." He said, trailing off as he accepted her claim of his lips. This girl, was so fragile, so damn cute, so...sexy... and so beautiful all at the same time. He loved it.

"There will always be things worth living for in the world and there will always be trash in the world that makes this place look a lot less pretty than it should look. There's always someone out to ruin another person's good day just because they're having a hard time and at the same time there's always that person that's willing to go out of their way to just smile and try to brighten someone's day. Sometimes all those smiley happy people accomplish is scaring the s**t out of me and make me wonder if they're some masked serial killer but as long as their voices don't sound strained to the point that they could pass off for being on helium and related to the chipmunks I'm pretty good. And those surly people who like picking on other people who are having a good day, I love to kick their asses. It's probably why school wasn't the best place for me." She smiled kind of sheepishly, her education hadn't made it past grade nine.
"If you did they probably owned a church or something, I hail from a pretty religious family, a bunch of zealots they are. Uncles that are cardinals, cousins that are bishops, you name it and our family probably has one somewhere. I'll bet if ever you ran into a self-righteous priest that loved to burn vampires that was probably someone from my fam-" Her thoughts cut off when she heard his heart melting words and she soaked them up with an inward smile and kissed him much more passionately than she'd initially been intending. It was her thanks and her thoughts had been trailing off as well, just how unbelievable all of this was. How it was too good to be true and yet this was entirely real and it'd somehow all fallen into her lap.

Veroen returned her extremely passionate kiss with one of his own. Deep down, he still believed that he loved her much more than she could love him, but he tried not to show it too intensely. Nonetheless, he showed his love to a high degree.

Though she was perhaps a little slower than some when it came to love and missed a few cues, she honestly tried her hardest to prove to Veroen how much he meant to her so his beliefs were only him fooling himself. However, it was hard, especially for her, to express something that was beyond words, thoughts or feelings and yet combined all of them and more. There were simply no words to describe what he meant to her - everything, no proper feeling to fully describe what she felt when she was with him - perfect, no thought or comparisson that could really serve as a proper metaphor for what they had. It was just all so overwhelming but not in a negative way, in a wonderful way that gave her hope for the future, for their future, provided they ended up having one together. She wanted nothing more but it was still a little early to make any for sure, more permanent decisions but at the very least she didn't dread them.
Her passion began leaking, fauceting again and her legs had tightened around his waist again as she melded herself with him, her body hugging as closely to his as it possibly could. The kisses became more urgent, demanding but they were not controlling, they were fits of raw emotion but never would she force him to act against his will. Then again it was pretty easy to seduce him but look where he had her right now. He was absolutely gorgeous and irresistable and he just managed to keep melting her heart over and over. Of course, in this process she also became rather protective and she knew that there was absolutely no one that was going to be able to cross him without crossing her. He'd never be alone, not while she was there.

Veroen had spent his entire life, feeling empty, lost, and continued on, with only one purpose: Killing and hunting Lycans. Not once had he tried to fall in love with someone, nor did it really find him. His entire life, without his own knowledge, he had been building up potential love for someone, and it was unkown who it would be. Now he had found her, the girl he had been waiting for his entire life. 600 years worth of potential love built up inside, now had a purpose. Eden was that purpose. Veroen had just only recently realized this, and figured that there was no way that she could possibly have that much love for him that he had for her. This was his logic.
His thoughts were interrupted when Eden's grip of him with her waist became tighter, and she began kissing him harder, and more seductive. Without realizing it, he had already began to merge himself with the situation, returning her passionate actions. He simply couldn't resist her.
He immediately wrapped his arms around her, tighter, yet still with a gentle touch. He then moved his kisses from her soft irresistible lips, to her even softer, nicely toned neck. Her neck was the most irresistible thing about her. The pulsing of her veigns in her neck began to arouse him even more. Her blood's scent entering his nose, the sweetness of her blood added to the situation, but he still controlled himself. He began to kiss her neck so hard and so much, it would surely leave hickeys as a result.

Eden hadn't spent her entire life empty, she'd had her family that'd been there for her. Her mom and dad were the best people she could have ever gotten as parents and Will was probably the greatest brother she could have asked for too. However, when Will disappeared it'd disturbed her and the question kept nagging in her mind and eventually, only fourteen years old, she set out to find her brother. Her life had been a life in the streets for a solid three years until she'd established her reputation and caught wing of the whole vampires not being fairytales thing. Her first encounter had been kind of messed up and weird but it'd opened her eyes to more possibilities to where her brother could have been. Rumours of infestations being in New York reached her ears since she'd become a hunter by then and she managed to scrounge up enough money to check New York out only to discover her brother to be the leader of the New York Hunters. It'd been insane but now he'd disappeared along with the other brother she'd made here, Sethe. So her life had really been bent on finding her brother and now that she'd done that she didn't know what she really wanted out of life.
When Veroen reacted to her barrage of kisses and her assault of senses she smiled on the inside at how beautiful and surprisingly at how innocent he seemed to strike her as. Veroen had never started into their relationship or stuck up for her because he'd been assuming he'd be able to get into her pants, it'd been because he'd genuinely cared. This fact was hard to believe since so few people in the world these days seemed to do anything out of the kindness of their heart anymore but that was probably what had drawn her to him in the first place. Perhaps the man had been a cold assassin that'd been able to kill anything and anyone within a moment's notice without so much as blinking when he took his target down but he had a heart beneath all that. She didn't know how it'd been prodded out but it had been and now they were here, living in the moment, spending it together, being happy, loving one another.
As Veroen gently laid his own assault down upon her neck, Meredith's spine exploded in a series of violent tingles that electrified her soul and set it a flame. Soft gasps and moans occasionally escaped her as his kisses were laid out on her one by one. They rendered her helpless and she simply surrendered to him while frantically stroking the side of his face, tracing his jaw and then running her fingers down his own cold neck in contrast to her warm one. Her breaths were increasingly harsh and her heart began beating that familiar rhythym it seemed to beat only for him.
