I think the prettiest language is French, because one French sentence sounds like one fluent word.

Proudly_Jewish what exactly does perkele mean? o.o It's a name for the Devil, derived from Perkunas, an old Lithuanian god.

Very true. Did you know that women used to be honoured in society? people even worshipped godesses... and now look at what happens stare

The idea that women might be seen as somehow inferior to men was a relatively recent development around here and probably didn't date back further than to the arrival of Christianity, and it certainly wasn't shared by everyone even at the worst of times. From what we know about the olden days, back then women hunted alongside men and occasionally turned back raiding warbands... And according to an old Finnish belief, women were the "fount of power": they were thought to protect from evil any man who laid down before them, and to make a stretch of land fruitful simply by walking across it.

Yep. Historical evidence has also proven that in Japanese society, women had more power than men... but then their culture become affected by the Chinese, who considered women to be inferior sweatdrop
But, Japanese women are steadily regaining their rights 3nodding

French, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese. All very nice to hear. German is interesting too. I say that as a huge fan of the band Rammstein, and the song Engel is a total and unwavering favorite of mine. mrgreen

I think that all languages are very beautiful but the top three for me would be French, Spanish, and Italian. <3 From those I really can't pick just one.
