The sword sinks into the broken eye with ease. Suddenly, and without warning, an influx of magical energies repels your blade and you fly through the air. Were it not for the dragon's claw slamming you onto the ground and knocking the wind out of you, you would've probably flew far enough to smash into a tree in the forest.
"Time for my first kill!" He opens his mouth and roars towards the heavens.
From your vantage point, you see Bellamin try to help you, only to be stopped by a swift kick from Freiya who somehow sneaked up towards him. He landed unconcious with a thud.

(Ok, I'm a touch confused, did the combat dice not count at all towards damaging the dragon?, also was the retaliate blocked? It just seems like I should have done a little more damage than that. I realize I'm gonna loose either way, I just consider it a matter of personal pride that I, at least make the dragon suffer as much as I can.)

Because your attack score is seven, and its attack score is 11, your attack with the dice couldn't have delt damage, as retaliate comes in AFTER defense and combat die. I've found many people overlook the fact that if a defender's defense score is over the attackers attack, the the remaining defense points are doubled. Sooooo, using BEDMAS:
Combat Dice roll (if used for damage) - (2 * (Defense - Attack))
10 - (2*(11-7)
10 - (2*4)
10 - 8 = 2
2*2 = 4
4 - 12 = 0

...
Wait a minute... Vikkayl is supposed to save his AP, and use his dice for defense, yet I also used it for his attack. >.<;; I'll edit that out now.

Van, could barely breath beneath the crushing weight of the dragon's claw. Blinking the blood out of his eyes he sees that the lightsword had fallen to the ground a few yards away from his reach, having automatically shut off once dropped. He calculated the odds of surviving this encounter were most decidedly not in his favor. But perhaps he could make the dragon's life a little bit more difficult. The hilt of the lightsword suddenly springs to life seemingly on its own, then flies into the air heading straight for the dragon's other eye.

Vincent comes from nowhere, suddenly perched on the back of the Dragon with his sword raised high. He brings the blade down in one swift motion, burying it into the automaton's back. He jumps off, landing beside him and then ramming him with inhuman strength as he attempts to knock him over and off of Van. Suddenly, Freiya notices the coin flying through the air at her. It bounces off her chest before suddenly trasforming into Demetry. Seemingly coming from nowhere, Demetry slams hard into Freiya and pins the warrior under a ton of muscle, teeth and scales. "B****..." Is all Demetry says as he rams his scaled head into hers.

((If you haven't noticed, every one of my little 'darlings' has a great deal of defense; well 'cept for my scorpion but thats because he does 3 attacks for 12 damage each and then can double it to become 72 total, not including dice for each twisted .))

[Status Undead: Suceeded]<+=+> As Vikkayl's maw slowly starts to come down upon Van, the lightsword smashes into the good eye with similar affects. However, this time Vikkayl reared in pain because it stuck in there, rather than being repelled. He roared again as another blade also pierced his body. Keeping one oversized claw on Van, he turned to the human who was trying to push him over and gave a piercing glare. Ironic, due to the energy-sword stuck through his good eye, and the hole he had in his other. "Your next insolent paladin!" The dragon shifted legs and whipped Vincent with its tail as it lifted up and off the ground. You can see plasma spewing from his mouth. You hear the only five words the cog warrior twirling the scythe towards Van will ever say today: "Atleast he's not a she."
Demetry colides with Freiya head on. However, her armor plating seems thicker than the dragons, as she barely moved when he struck. Instantly, she reached out and gave the dragon a crushing hug. "Oh! Who's so CUTE! I must get Bella to create something as CUTE as you. WHO'S A CUTE DRA-" Suddenly, she threw Demetry into the air, transformed into a panther, and dug her claws into the earth.
The Plasmic Flame washes over you like a wave of condensed searing pain striking every nerve in your body...
But when you thought the plasmic flames would kill you, you hear somebody shout "STOP!" And Vikkayl and Freiya obeyed. Even SK, who was only a centimeter away from finishing off Van stopped and looked towards the source. It was what looked to be a paper mage riding ontop of an enormous scorpion made of numerous books. The mage had the onconcious form of Bellamin under an arm. However, the thing that stuck out the most, was the fact that the paper mage's demonic aura was huge. So huge infact, that everything around him seemed to be darker and blurry. "Tell me," he said towards everybody, "what are you doing? You could have killed Bellamin! And then who else will make you an eye, and get you new pets?" He put his free hand on his hip and sighed. "If he died, how would I ever get out of this body!" The demonic figure jumped down from the scorpion and walked over to the battlefield and layed Bellamin down. "If I became stuck in this body forever, I would hunt you down and make you read my one million year chronicle of my life." The paper golem turned to Vincent and Van. "Who, may I pray tell, are you two? Those who challenge a dellusional creature, and a fair lady-" Freiya reverted to humanoid stance and did what appeared to be a curtsie "-To mortal combat. You got guts kids... I could use the likes of you."

"My name is Vincent Valentine, Paladin of the Order of the Emerald Fist. The boy..." Vincent says as he helps him up, "Is a foreigner by the name of Van. I was helping him train when your...friends came." Vincent gives a peircing gaze to the dragon while Demetry is in the process of rubbing against the one creature whose breath was more painful and burning than his own. "That was incredible..." He says almost dreamily. It's obvious that Vincent caught the exchange for his face contorts in confusion and disgust, "Ew...masochist..."

Van bites his lip as he pops a dislocated shoulder back into place. He says nothing, only staring at the paper visage before him, eyes narrowing. The dark aura surrounding the man instantly putting Van on edge as his gnosis stirred uncomfortably within him.

"Well, I'll have my people 'phone' you then." He stepped forward and used Bellamin like a stool to give him a 'heroic' posture. "I am Prince Draemus-uth-Luthgaz-Amon. Exiled Commander of the Grand armies of the Trayus-Lord Draemona! Ruler of the spheres of schemes, conspiracies, and 'Darker' arts. I am Draemus, Banished prince of the Infernal Umbra!" He started to laugh manically.
Vikkayl looked down in confusion at the dragon rubbing against his side. After a small span of confusion, the silver-ware dragon started to laugh too. "Ah, my first adoring fan... Now I need a lair, and a minion or two..."
Freyia was bent down beside Bellamin, trying to wake him up while simultaneously asking him if he knew of any of Syd's old inventions which were as 'cute and cuddley' as the red dragon.
The cog warrior Bellamin called Seige Knight, bent down ((For he is quite tall and menacing looking)) and simply stared at Van. You can't seem to figure out any emotion.
"Soooo..." Draemus stretched his arms, although lacking flesh, stretching had become a habit he picked up alot from the procrastinating Bellamin. "I've made sure none of the 'family-friendly' golems got out of the building, and also repaired some roof damages done by our dragon here."
"Sorry, I-."
"-Quite alright. And I've also delivered some letters to some associates' children's children I've been meaning to since a decade or three before I was trapped here." He looked around, "With all that settled: Please, sit down and let us discuss the way to free me from this plane and from your lives 'for*coughamonthcough*ever." The demon then sat down upon Belamin like he was a bench; the spellsword stirred a little, but was sent back into deep sleep from a quick flash from the paper golem's palm.

Van leans a little over to Vincent and quietly says. Do you know this man Master Valentine? Still on edge, Van then addresses Draemus. I do not know that I could be of any help to you, I am not a practitioner of magick nor alchemy. Van absentmindedly motions towards his lightsword which is still imbeded in Vikkayl's eye. The sword looses itself, rather roughly, from the Dragon's eye and drifts back to Van, where it is returned to its place on his belt, once again idle. There are several supernatural institutions in Miyre, perhaps they would be better equipped to send (cough'lock'cough) you back from whence you came.

Vikkayl let the sword slide out of his good eye. Losing vision was not beneficial to his plan of becoming Dragon Lord.
Draemus looked at Van with an inqusitive look. "I am no man; but one of purest corruption. Anyways, I've already tried my brother's followers. If they couldn't rip me out of this body by now, no mage ever will. But enough of that. I'll need your help in retrieving something of great importance." The demonic figure stood up and Bellamin awoke screaming in fear of 'cobras'. Freiya silenced him with a hard, electrofied, poke to the head.
"Thank you." He brushed some wasps off of him. "If you've noticed, your friend is already tainted. With what? It is none of my concern. Luckily, this will hopefully make his life easier. If you are intrested, seek out the draconian named: Tyras. Hopefully... he's not in the eastern deserts doing some religious cleansing as I last scried him. Draemus stuck out his hand in a gesture of a hand-shake. "A Devilishly good deal awaits."
