Xchaos chibi_viki yeah, i saw the pics too, including the packaging art. makes me excited all the more. I like viki's new costume. It's similar to her original one, yet better than the one in gs4. lorelai looks great... she looks young and vibrant. hmm... shouldn't she be using a pike/lance? Killey.... looks the same though, hahaha In suiko1 she was using a bow so there is more chance this is that weapon she'll be using...But I could be wrong. Was she using a bow in Suikoden I? I know for sure that she was using a scythe-like weapon in Suikoden II, but her weapon in Suikoden I currently eludes me. It's kind of strange that she would be an archer, then a scythe user, though. Suikoden characters usually don't change the type of weapon that they use.

That's just wrong.....gotta get it the old fashioned way. Tried and true, never fails, foolproof and all that lot. Baby-sitting every weekend til I got the $50..... xp nice to hear i just to it the foolproof way getting payed by the government to go to college wheeeeeee money in my pocket now i just need a job an apartment and a bigg tv. o yeah and food Government won't pay for me.....That's not fair. I go to college too ya'know! Ah, well. I'm half there anyway. well i lost somebodydear for the chance so you should be glad you dont get payed by the government. To be precise my father died from a decease and retired on full disability from the army which becuase of this the government payed for my school, crying

Queendom... of felenda...? I have no idea what game this is in. neutral I have played Suikoden 1 and 4. I must have missed something because I am only 1/4 of the way through Suikoden 4. sweatdrop
And how do you get a prince from a QUEENdom? blaugh

The Queendom of Falena however, promises to be more than a set of islands, which beats Suikoden 4 flat. biggrin Quote: And how do you get a prince from a QUEENdom? Nee...I saw a trailer somewhere..and me thinks the Queen of Felena is EBIL! (I think it was on www.youtube.com...O_O) Because she was talking phsyco in the last few seconds of the trailer..O_O

I'm really looking forward to the fifth in the series, especially since I just beat Tactics and I'm dying for more. Eh, but when does this take place? Before Suikoden I? After?

Yeah this game's somewhere before Suikoden II, probably several years before Suikoden I as well, judging from the age of Lorelai. From what I read at Suikox, I think it takes place after the Succession Wars.
And in case you guys didn't check it out yet, there is a screenshot of the HQ at the official website. It appears the HQ will be the giant tower shown in previous trailers. Just so you know.

Just so you know. IMO, the stronghold looks like a huge lighthouse. No joke there- it shines like one but it certainly looks more spacious than a real lighthouse. Perhaps the main tower was a lighthouse and the shops and dormitories were simply built around it. Strange theory, I know. sweatdrop The trailer looks wonderful. I particularly heart the return of the Suikoden II style for the battlefield- there's the old-school feel with more detail added in.
