((sorry if I cut anyone off, but I'm going to proceed.))

*the Lunar Hope crew enters the temple and glowing crystals light the path. It appears to be a large sandfall (like a waterfall...except it's sand) leading down to a chasm. There are several snowboard-like stones lining the walls.*

*a voice can be heard from all over. It's being broad casted. It's male, but has a strange femininity to it.*


"Oh? Intruders? How interesting. It's been a long time since anyone tried coming here. If you want to reach the end, you must pass a series of trials. In this room you must sandboard to the bottom while avoiding the traps and hopping over the chasm before the door closes. Don't stop, or you'll die. Huhuhuhu!"

Sandboard eh? Thank goodness for my sense of balance, here goes!
*Kyla leaps down onto one of the stones, and stands with her arms in balance, and her tail flitting only slightly*

"I suppose there's a first time for everything." Naturally, the bunny follows Kyla's lead.

*Kyla crouches down to gain speed, and shoots down the path. She grabs the edge of her stone and pulls it sideways to avoid an oncomming rock. Two Uitha appear on either side of her, riding large stones of their own*
Oh geez, you've gotta be kidding me! I can't use Hien like this...

*Tyrian exerts purple freezing plasma from his hands. He reaches out with his left hand, extending the plasma with ice shards in it. The plasma arm reaches and grabs and oncoming rock spike, and he swings. He does this a few times, but some Uitha grab his board*

Hey, let go jerks! *he exerts freezing plasma from his entire body, blowing them away and freezing them at the same time.*

Hah, piece of cake! Whoah! *some more Uitha rise from the ground and make sand arms to grab him from all sides (except below). he draws his broadsword and does a spinning slash to take care of them at once, as well as pick up speed for a jump. He lands his board on the other side of the door. Then he places the rock in the door's path, and freezes it to give it more density. It should buy some more time for the others*

"Hmf....how ridiculous..." Kokujo snorted, though getting onto one of the boards anyway. "More like hella awsome! Surfs up dude!" Corbenik grinned as they set off.

It took Kokujo a little while to get used to the whole idea, but he caught on pretty quickly, as was soon whizzing down the sandy slopes at a fair speed. Just as he was thinking the challenge too easy though, he suddenly had to duck to avoid a leaping Uitha, it's spear whirring over his head. "hmf....these things again" Kokujo muttered angrily, removing his shuriken from his back to chop another skeletal assailant in two.

He weaved and twisted down the sand, fighting off the creatures and shielding himself from the occasional barrage of rock spikes with his large weapon. Just as he neared the end however he spotted a patch of quicksand in his way. "tch..." he grimaced. The patch was too large for him to just swerve around, so he had to think of something quickly. He spied an Uitha rising from the sand ahead, making ready a sand attack, and saw his chance. He crouched slightly, trying to get as much speed as possible. The unfortnate Uitha was interupted from it's sand magic by Kokujos arm slamming into it rather hard as he passed by, dragging it along the sand below. Kokujo shifted to grip the things head, and just as he was abut to hit the quicksand, threw it down infront of him, using it as a ramp to awkwardly catapult himself high into the air over the sand and through the door. "WOOOOHOOO, you found massive air!" Corbenik shouted as they careened across the sky.

*Kold follows Tyrian's path. A lot of the enemies cleared already.* He's gotten pretty good.

*He doesn't actually surf in the usual way because he uses his psychic power to control where the board was going. He uses a constant flow of Kirutama (Slash Spheres / Air Vacuum Slashes) iai attacks. A bunch of Uitha were knocked back in the process. He reaches the bottom without terrible hassle.*




*Eoroe collects some of the rocks from the rock spikes and creates a spiked stone barrier around herself as she surfs. This slows her down, but she is protected from all sides....save for the eye hole to see. She reaches the bottom with ease. Ground-based abilities are her specialty after all*
