EH.................................I have no clue sweatdrop I never remember such stuff...
Well I probably heard somewhere it was good and decided to watch it sweatdrop
So then watching like the last 27 eps in a day...the movie when I got my hands on it...the manga...not so much...

Gaara_San I found out about Full-Metal Alchemist last year from my 7th grade science teacher who i also learned about naruto from! He was my favorite teacher id ever had. After he got me obsessed with naruto he gave me the first 4 volumes of FMA on a disk and told me to try reading it. I read it and was it was awesome so i also got a few eps from my friend( crying cant download anime cuz i have dial up crying ) then one day i was on adultswim.com and there was a link to an interview with funimation about fma so i read it and they didnt say ne thing about showin the anime and then i went to check under adultswims SHOWS and there it was on the list so i got all excited and impatient and went crazy becuz this was more than a week before it came on.I kept on chekin the my tv guide for saturday the next week to make sure it was still gonna come on and i finally saw it. The anime was just as great as the manga and they even did an ok job dubbing so ive been watchin it since then on adultswim I was gonna get all the anime from my teacher but he decided he didnt want to get in trouble with my parent for givin me a violent anime so i got the whole shaman king series from him instead ill hav to force my friend to get FMA for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! damn i wish i had ur teacher. I saw it from the first episode when it first aired on Adult Swim. I was hooked since but i did miss a few episodes in between rolleyes

i found some pictures of it on the internet and woundered what it was so typed it in on youtube and watched all the episodes and they also come on rpature t.v on sky biggrin

read the first manga and got VERY interested, and then I started to buy all of the fma mangas,a nd then started to watch the anime on youtube sweatdrop it all happened so fast 3nodding

my friend practically forced me to buy the whole season. he told me it was kickass so i bought it. i watched the first ep and got hooked.. blaugh

Well I had heard about FMA I don't know where...I didn't really know what it was like just seen a picture of ED somewhere...so when I saw the first DVD at the videostore while browsing I thought I would rent it...then I needed more. I was hooked after the first DVD 3nodding

Strangely enough, I had been at a video rental place with my best friend looking for some game to rent and we saw the FMA video game (the first one), so we rented it, since we didn't know what else to rent. We fell in love with the game, and strangely enough, as soon as we turned off the game that night, guess what was on TV? Fullmetal Alchemist. I was instantly a fan. ^^

I was just sittin there one night watching adult swim. Venture Bros. was just over and i got up to turn the tv off when fma came on. I sat and watched and here i am today biggrin

I used to watch it with my friend, Yuuko_chan before i really liked it. But, after i purchased the videogames, it was all over...I WAS HOOKED!!!! heart

Camui I actually got in to FMA via the manga first. ^^ I love reading manga because of all the different art forms, and the sound of 'Fullmetal Alchemist' intrigued me, because i've always wanted to study alchemy. It was about... i think, two years ago, one a half...? something like that, when i managed to find scanlations of the manga... i got reading, and fell in love! ^^ It also helped that L'Arc~en~ciel sang the opening theme, "Ready Steady Go". XDDD That song is so addicting. I totallly agree. i have it and cannot stop listening to it.

I remember i was channel surfing because i could not sleep. Then my eyes caught a flash of light and i went back to where i saw it. It was Ed at work using his alchemical powers transmuting something. I cannot remember what he was transmuting or what episode it was, all i remember is that i fell in love with it and to my knowledge have missed only one episode-The one where they finally obtain the philosopher's stone. But i bought the movie-Conquerer of Shambala, i ought the soundtrack to the movie, the volume 2 original soundtrack which i am listening to now, and the silver pocketwatch. Sad part is that the inscription is wrong. I am going to try and get it reinscribed when i get a chance. Though i love FMA, i recently found out about S-Cry-Ed and now they are evenly matched to being my favorites. crying sorry FMA!

i saw episode 9 on adult swim, and asked my friend if i could borrow book 1 and voiala! FMA madness, and a crazy Ed lover are born!
