Myke stops around the ship with the others and glances around a bit before responding to Jarred. "Good thing Im not really here to help you then." he says nodding. "I'd say Im more the antagonist....well further on down the road maybe." he jokes and stops to catch his breath a bit. "But Ill tell ya what, you want a hero sword so bad? I know a gal who dates a guy....I can hook you up." lol

Hovering above the atmosphere of Sarluna was a Kore fleet. The Gilgamesh crash had been carefully pinpointed.
Lux motioned with his hand, "Send in a few fighters, to blast the remains of the ship, and take out any survivors. I don't want anything left kicking."
A few moments later five small fighter ships set out to the planet. When they reached the soared over the Gilgamesh they began taking fire, aiming for sensitive parts of the ship, and anything that seemed to move.

Jarred as about to do something undecided, when things started to explode.
"Ohshitwhatthehellwe'reunderattack!" He dove for cover, before realizing they hadn't taken a direct hit.
"What the hell was that?" He yelled at Haldis.

"OHSHIT! OHSHIT! OHSHIT!" Eric started shouting from his spot in the cockpit, the Star's Light blazing into the system.
"KORE! A WHOLE s**t LOAD OF KORE ON YOUR POSTION!" He shouted at the mic, wanting to be damn certain that Jarred heard him, "OHMYGODTHEYJUSTOPENEDFIRETAKECOVERNOW!"

Myke keeps his head down under a hunk of Metal as he watches inderect ship fire rip into the ground around them, tearing it into pieces, tossing mud and grass and moss all over the place. "....Great...Now what the ******** is trying to kill us?" he grumbles to himself and looks around wondering where the one person he thought might be able to help was. "....Dammit. Where is that little droid bugger! L33t! Where are you?"

Leet was buzzing back and forth trying to figure out what was going on, and making frazzled noises. When he registered Myke's voice he calmed and zoomed over to the ex-fighter. He beeped, letting Myke know he was there.
There was a large creaking sound as some of the metal on the Gilgamesh began to give, the ship beginning to collapse in on itself. The blasts, the previous attacks, along with the landing was starting to wear on the durability of the ship.
Syx put on her hat. "They're trying to bring the ship down on us, and will likely try to pick us off if we run out." She glanced around at the others. "Any suggestions?"

Jarred looked around, peeking out the hole. He turned back to the people.
"Alright, if I can get to my ship, I can distract them long enough for you all to run. However, there's still plenty of nasty things out there, I'm sure. Ruby? How many people can your shuttle hold?"

"Five at best, sugar. It's meant for short travel from ship to ship, or ship to planet." Ruby gave an apologetic look. "We might be able to find some kinda shelter out there, if we look hard. In any case, I don't think it's a good idea to be stayin' 'round here."

Jarred nodded, his face grim.
"Alright folks, this is what's gonna happen. I'm gonna distract the Kore with bullets. Turns out they don't like being shot at. Figured that one out myself. While I'm doing my thing, you all make a break for it. Follow the Marshall, this gal, or if you need an easier lead, the big scary dude with the robot." He yelled out over the people, making sure they could all hear him. He turned, grumbling to himself. "Now I just need to find where my ship lande..." There was a wumph noise as the Grushdeva landed on it's wheels outside the door, having apparently been bounced by an explosion.
"And THAT is why I'm the main character!" He yelled at Ruby, running and leaping in, blitzing through the startup, and taking off.

Syx started lining people up, in an advantageous formation, keeping in mind capabilities and strengths. "When he starts shooting, we'll need to start running for cover. Wait for my signal."
Ruby shook her head, "He still ain't the main character."
As Jarred made his appearance, a fighter zoomed close by, shooting at him and the Grushdeva.

As it opened fire, before Jarred managed to get to the ship, a harpoon shot from the Grushdeva, attatched to a long cable. It stuck into the side of the ship's wing, before releasing, being pulled back into the Grushdeva. The enemy ship shook, as the pilot fought for control, then it swerved away, opening fire on the other Kore ships, but not before it flipped, the ejector seat going off, aimed directly at the ground.
"Move!" He yelled, taking off in the Grushdeva.

Syx gave her signal and they started running out. Some of the ships started firing close by, but then were distracted by the attack of the other fighter which seemed to have been taken over by some force (haze, I'm guessing.)
Syx directed them all towards the jungle cover, yelling for them to stay together.

Myke Grabs L33t and smiles abit. "Come on buddy I have a feeling that we are gonna need your help really quickly." he says watching Jarred fly off to be the distraction as he heads towards the Jungle with the others "Come on people get yer asses moving!" Myke yells a bit helping Syx with her command.
