Serena's eyes opened wearily to the sound of the school bell. She blinked them slowly a few times, then sat up straight. "ugh..stupid game..I can't miss school today though.." She stood up off balance and began to drag herself towards the academy grounds. As the Raiken went, she awakened a bit more, but her actions were still a bit slow from lack of sleep. It was hard to focus on anything but sleeping for the present time. She fought to keep her eyelids from falling. The echoing ring from the second bell did startle her for a minute before she was more than halfway awakened now. Serena yawned once and tried to keep awake until she reached the academy.

Kiba was so engrossed into his sword swinging that he was completely oblivious to the world around him. He swung left and right, up and down and failed to notice the various people conversing within earshot of him and even talking to him directly! Oh well, surely everyone would understand. Whatever the case the young Raiken continued with his practice and stabbing and slashing in all directions. To observers of this sword training near by there must have been debates about which was more impressive: the skill of his swings or the fact that he had been steadily swinging for so long...

Sorri

Sorri had been walking backwards with a smile on his face, he had been watching each of the tracks he left in the lightly fallen snow. He took his hoodie off and swung it around his shoulders, letting the temperature chill his body. The villagers seemed to fade away with time, as did the sounds around him. Soon only an image of the tracks and the falling snow portrayed. The idea of home swayed to the memory of his family, he began to wonder if thy thought of him this day, day of cold. Maybe not, no words had been said to him and there was sign of any other white haired villagers. His eyes clouded and a tear dropped away from his body when he bumped into someone handing out Shima's newspaper. "The kage is stone...and Uncle Akuyiro is a defector...whats that m-" The academy-nin's head snapped up when the school bell rung out and his eyes sprung into that usually "OHNOI'MLATE!!" formation before he ran his way to the building, the newspaper in one hand, and the hoodie swinging in the other.

((Miraculously transporting from his bed to the outside world...))

The snow was a pleasant sight. Xyn had little tolerance for rain, or any type of weather condition in truth. Snow was at least soothing to the eyes. The crunch of the ice under his feet, his weight sinking ever so slightly with each step; everything was like the wheels in a clock turning each other to make the entire construct work. His mind being occupied by such a thought was the closest a person could come to contentment without actually dropping down and playing in the snow. For Xyn to engage in such a task... ... ...

Xyn took a moment to stop, letting a stream of steam puff out underneath the hood that prevented the snow from collecting in his hair. It didn't take long for the white specks to begin camouflaging him. Even in this environment, the dominant shade of his clothing was black, or some other dark color that was nearly indistinguishable. Any normal person keep moving in such whether, but Xyn remained motionless, his head turned down to stare at all the footprints left behind by the other villagers. He let his knees weaken slightly and dropped to let his hands curl into the fresh snow. At first it was just his first two fingers, simply to judge how cold it really was. He was never really bothered by the cold, but there was nothing wrong with building up a greater tolerance to it.

His fingertips were already going numb from the small exposure. It was most liekly the time he had already spent in this weather, and besides his cloak, he lacked any actual protection for this time of year. He decided to try and write something, even though he knew any message he tried to make would disappear in a few moments, if it would even be noticeable. He let his breath blow slowly over his wrist while his hand pressed farther down to touch the hard soil underneath. His name was a simple enough task, although taking very little time to do.

It was worse than he thought. By the time he had written the 'n', the 'x' was unrecognizable. He considered writing it again, but was quickly bored by the idea. He let two of his fingers scoop up a small amount of snow and watched it slowly melt from just his body heat. Despite the feeling of the cold, his body felt as though it were getting warmer. The heat escaping his body only made him colder, so he tucked his hands into his cloak to wrap the jacket inside more tightly around his chest. He let out an uncontainable sigh, the temperature finally getting to him. When he let his right hand drop back into the snow, he took a clump in his hand and started to squeeze it until it was just water. It couldn't be too cold if the snow melted so easily, so he should be able to stand it for a long while.

Yep, Kiba was pretty out of it just swining his sword about. Fortunately he was somehow still able to hear the academy bell ring. Without getting into any too big of a hurry he began walking while swining towards the shinobi educational establishment. Swing, swing, stab... that is about all the dark eyed Raiken knew how to do. Maybe he needed to become more social... actually he had not interacted with another villager, friend or foe, in quite some time...

His fingers were starting to get stiff. Any longer like this and he felt he wouldn't be able to move. Xyn hadn't chosen a high traffic area, so people seeing a boy kneeling down in the snow might just keep walking without giving it a second thought. The boy let out a large breath to try and warm his skin, which only really worked to cause a chill in his teeth from opening his mouth. He let his eyes close and tried to keep his palm in the snow with his fingers separated, occasionally closing them into a fist and opening them to make sure the blood was circulating properly. He couldn't understand why the could was affecting him so much when he was so used to it, but under normal circumstances he would have moved by now, and it definitely wouldn't be snowing over him.

Xyn was forced to pull his hand up for a moment and cross his arms within his cloak. This was starting to become frustrating. Maybe he should focus on staying warm... but that seemed pointless. If it was this could during a mission, he sholdn't waste time concerning himself with keeping warm, his mind had to be on the task ahead. That was true discipline. Withstanding the elements had no purpose if he could not complete his objective.

His hand went more forcibly into the snow, knocking most of it to the side. He took a large handful of it and held it closer to his face, trying to resist the urge to shiver. The ice was starting to feel like small daggers in his skin, but he couldn't let that get to him.

Izumi yawned, having not had any sleep what-so-ever that night. She couldn't sleep yet either, she still had what the flame haired man had told her to do, to do. Her eyes cast downwards as she trudged on. Seeing as how she couldn't very well go back that day having not finished what she was given. That would be disrespectful to the man's orders. And Izumi couldn't be rude!!! Her small hand reached up to rub her eyes as she yawned once again. The cerulean color seemed a bit dull as she became rather bored of her surroundings. There didn't seem to be much action at this time of day. Well, night...morning...whatever it is you'd like to call it. Things were lightly colored by the slowly rising sun, kissing the snow just perfectly. She took in the looks of the area, not that it wasn't what she'd not seen before, but still, it gave her something to occupy herself with for the moment. The young girl's mind couldn't help but jump from one thought to another as she stopped walking and looked upwards. What was it she'd be taught that day? Or what would she learn on her own? Izumi was sure the...Orika girl had taken Karite to get clothes the previous afternoon, and Izumi hadn't gotten anything because she was much too slow a learner to catch on to anything other than training her body. A small frown fell apon her lips, something quite odd for her, as she thought about it. She hoped she could get better, so she could keep up with everything around here. People seemed so much more equipped for learning than she was. Though, she had only just gotten there, she should get better, right? When she had lost interest in her own mind, she thought she should get on with what it was the man had given her. She let her hands fall into the form she was told to do, and let her shoulder's lightly fall into a relaxed position.

A boy... She had a boy! Shinichi shook his head painfully, honestly not sure what he was feeling at the moment. Guilt, for sure, for letting her slip of out his grasp. At the same time, he didn't regret not chasing after Kasui. She had her life and he his and if she had thought he'd be a good father, she would have said something instead of marrying that Kaguya. Maybe she just wanted her son to grow up in her clan. Shinichi raised his hands to his face and took a seat at a bench somewhere in the center of the village square. The sight was familiar and most people paid him no heed. He'd been whiny since finding out Ichi's fate, after all. But to think... he knew he wouldn't have made as good a father as Kasui's husband, but how could things have been different if he did? He might never have moved to Shimagakure. He might have never met Ichi. And that was why it was best for Zasadel to grow up where he did. Shinichi certainly didn't feel like a father, no. Those people were loving and willing to do anything for their child and he couldn't give up his career for anyone. Except Ichi, of course. He'd give anything for that man: his life and death a thousand times over. What was one weepy kid in comparison to Uchiha Ichi? Nothing!

Izumi's eyes crossed over the street to spot the flame haired man sitting down. He didn't seem to look so happy...Not that she'd really seen him happy in the single day she'd known him. He seemed down, and Izumi didn't like it. She didn't like seeing anyone down. She crossed over to him, as best she could without making too much noise to disturb him, and merely stood in front of him with her hands clasped together in front of her. Her gentle little smile adorned her dark face as she looked towards the man. The girl hoped there was something she could do to make him feel better, a man with a personality like his shouldn't get down like someone with a much frailer one. Izumi could see a man with a lighter heart being down as this, but definetly not someone like the flame haired man. "Um...Sir...Are you feeling okay? You don't have a tummy ache do you?" Izumi had let him have a few feet between them, unwanting to get too close to invade his personal space. She looked a bit worried as her head slightly tilted to the side in curiosity of his situation.

He looked up, somewhat ashamed to be caught at a weak spot, but kept up those depressed eyes. "I wish, I wish...," he said as his stern expression softened just enough to be noticed by an observant onlooker. "I mean, if my troubles were only a stomach ache, things would be a lot better. Nay. I just discovered a fact about my past I’m not exactly proud of.” Then again, which student knew more about a nasty past than the mysteriously gentle girl who possessed Meho blood that made one as bloodthirsty as a bull in heat? “Finished learning Henge no Jutsu yet, girl?” he asked, scooting over to give her a place to sit. He wouldn’t mind some non-family company. If anything, it kept him from thinking too deeply. “You, kid, are very strange indeed. I would have never thought one of Dhan the Destroyer’s kinswoman would be so considerate of each other. From what I hear, the Meho don’t care if yo lose a limb, much less have a teensy ache. Were you always this kind-hearted, girl? Maybe I should send you to Dhan-san’s home.” Or rather, what was left of the shack. Whoopsies. It suddenly occurred to him that he did not know the whereabouts of Tomoko. Did she go with everyone’s favourite genin or was she hiding somewhere else entirely? There were so many people to worry over now that he was Kage…

Izumi seemed a bit pained to see the look on the man's face as he spoke to her. She was about to ask what exactly it was that troubled him, but quickly closed her mouth as she thought about how rude it would be to pry into someone else's lives and affairs. As he made room for her to join him, he asked the single question she wished he hadn't. "Um...no...I'm sorry...I guess I'm not too good at it..." She sighed, sitting down next to him. She listened in silence as he continued to speak about her being strange. Well, it wasn't the first time she'd heard that, that was for sure. "Yes...I suppose I am strange." She giggled a bit sadly before look over towards him. "Sadly, no, so I was told, I wasn't always like this...It makes me sad. I wish I could have been. I wouldn't have caused pain to anyone if I was like this always." Izumi cast her blue eyes back down as she smiled slightly. She had often hurt her brother, beating him in fights, along with all the other kids she'd gotten into fights with. She jumped a bit as she heard him speak of sending her to Dhan. "N-No, please, that's quite alright! I'll get to visit him eventually...I just...um...I don't think he'd approve of someone like me...Well, more like...Especially someone like me..." Izumi sighed lightly, thinking of what catastraphy would befall her if she met up with Dhan when he wasn't too happy. Thinking of what type of punishment he may give her for being the way she was. Her parents would seem almost angelic compared to him!

"Well, what are you wasting time for?" Shinichi snapped, though somewhat half-heartedly. Let's see... she was on the third part of the jutsu. "You're almost there, Izumi. Just take it one step at a time. Transform yourself into someone else first. You've done that before." He listened carefully to Izumi's words as she talked about causing pain to others. How could such a sweet girl cause anybody harm? "Do you know what caused the change, Izumi?" he asked curiously, then switched tones when Shinichi saw how sad the girl had become. "Don't be stupid," the ANBU ordered, shaking his head disparagingly, "You can't please everyone. That's impossible, even if you were someone who never did anything selfish. " Like Ichi... and so many hated his guts for wanting to escape their totalitarian regime. "You're causing your parents and clan pain for being weak and worse of all, you're causing yourself pain. That's not right." When she become as afraid as a mouse when the talk of visiting Dhan came up, Shinichi chuckled. "You'll have to face him eventually. I won't let you live without meeting your clansman. Besides, if you keep refusing to see him, you'll be branded a coward. But don't worry. I'll go with you. I've got my own business to take care of with him."
