As the door slid open a second time Nurse Joy looked up from her desk. "Oh, Hello, are you two the other Rangers that Mr. Lenns said would be coming. He's at the end of the hall on the left. Trainer room 'F'."

Mr. Lenns? Miomoko wasn't entirely sure who that was. "Alright, Thank you." Miomoko replied to Nurse Joy with a smile. Miomoko turned away from the desk towards the hall, and walked down it leaving Alice behind. She walked to the end, untill she saw "Trainer Room 'F'" on a door to her Left. She opened it slowly, and had decided not to knock before entering.

After Miomoko had walked away, Alice nodded and responded to Nurse Joy with a 'thank you' before going down the hallway as well. As she got to the end of the hallway she saw Miomoko slowly opening the door to what must have been 'Trainer Room F'.

"Lucario get behind Electabuzz and use Mega Punch." Lucairo moved too swift for electabuzz to follow and he got behind it. Lucario's hand started to glow bright blue and he threw a swift punch at Electabuzz's back. Electabuzz's eyes turned into X's and it fell to the ground. Jack threw a capture ball at the Electabuzz. It didn't shake and he picked it up. He suddenly heard a message and he went to the Pokecenter. "Hey Gaddwick where are you?" he said into his comm thing. (I forgot what it was called)

((OoC: You're far too slow R&S. The mission ended over a week ago. The story will be that the Pokemon was already defeated when you got there. Gaddwick called and asked you to regroup and Will offered to lead you. Currently you're in the Pokemon Center lobby and Nurse Joy has told you the same thing she told the other two.))
"Hello Mio," said Gaddwick as she opened the door. "Leave the door open so Jack and Alice can find their way in they should be here soon. Did your mission go well?" The room was a little cramped but still functional. The room had been built to house 4 trainers only but recently a PC had been added to the room making it seem a little small. On each wall was a bunk bed with space below for storage. Gaddwick had changed back into his Ranger uniform and was sitting on one of the beds waiting for the Rangers to show up. Ideally, he would have rather had this meeting at home or at the Gym but he didn't want to leave Kadabra at the Center alone.

"Alice and Jack is right behind me." She said, then continued as she took a few steps into the room so the other two could get in. "The mission went quite well, caught the Voltorb before it self-destructed. How did it go for you?" She asked, wondering where his Kadabra was.
Kian blinked his eyes a couple of times as he woke up. He noticed Gadd was sitting on a bed. Kian jumped off of Miomoko's shoulders and ran towards the same ebd as Gadd. He jumped up on it, and curled up to fall asleep again.

Alice entered the room, seeing Gaddwick and Miomoko were speaking. She looked over her shoulder to see if anyone else was coming down the hallway before moving aside from the door. Skitty raised her head as she surveyed the room, though she made no move to get down.

"Hello Alice." he greeted before turning back to Miomoko. "Not so well unfortunately. Kadabra and Snorlax got caught in an explosion. Snorlax will probably just sleep it off but Nurse joy said Kadabra should just rest for the next week to heal." He reached down and gently stroked Eevee's fur. "Luci said a couple of things came up while we were gone. I set up the PC for a conference and she should be calling in any moment."

Miomoko tried to picture the explosion Gadd, Kadabra, and Snorlax had been in, it wasn't too wasy, but she now had a general idea. "I hope Kadabra comes out of it all okay, I'm sure he will." She said in reply then looked over at the PC. She wondered what may have come up while they were gone.
Kian enjoyed the strokes from Gadd. He growled very quietly to show he was pleased, and then slowly fell into a sleep.

"Hello," Alice returned the greeting before Gaddwick continued what he had been saying to Miomoko. Getting caught in an explosion sounded pretty bad, she thought. It sounded like Kadabra and Snorlax would be okay, though, which was of course a very good thing; it could have been worse, after all. As she was listening, her gaze fell on Miomoko's Eevee partner, curled up on the bed. Cute, she thought, before turning her attention to the PC, which would be recieving a call soon.

The PC beeped to alert the group to an incoming signal. Gaddwick pulled out the desk chair and typed a few keys on the keyboard pulling up the video connection. On the other end Luci was sitting in her dark office paperwork neatly organized behind her. "Hello? Hello?" her voice echoed through the low quality speakers. "We can hear you Luci. What is the update." replied Gaddwick. Luci shuffled a few papers in front of her. "There's a lot to go over actually. I should start from the beggining I suppose."
"Firstly the report on the fire came back today. Apparently there wasn't any direct foul play involved. Just a bit of shoddy building combined with both the old materials and the weather. The building was built over 80 years ago. Considering its location it was never really built to withstand fire. Junior was interviewed and it turns out that the evidence against him makes sense if you have the whole picture. Apparently 'The Organization' had taken an interest in his talent and were soliciting him to switch sides. He was apparently trying to make it clear that he wouldn't do such a thing. His father actually stopped by today to take him into custody. Mr Hastings said that it was too dangerous to be working at such a small outpost and that the two would be working together at the new HQ in Vermillon. News about Dr. Raphael and his nurse just turned up and, brace yourself, they eloped. I'd say its unprofessional but at least it clears them. Apparently they're in the Orange Island region already. We just received a postcard. They say they will be back sometime next month."
"Second we figured out where Mineshadow left to. Apparently something came up with the detective and she needed to go. The Police won't confirm or deny that she is working with them but I have a hunch that might be what's going on. She cleared out her stuff last night but left some of her notes behind. Apparently she was keeping some things to herself for quite some time. Most of this shouldn't really be said over the lines but I can at least share some it with you. Apparently 'The Organization's' true name is 'Nova'. She suspects that they may be operating out of some of Team Rockets old hideouts but she hasn't be able to confirm anything."
"The last thing is an offer. Mr. Goodshow stopped by today looking for you. You know who that is right? Mr. Goodshow, President of the Pokemon League. Apparently they're looking to hire more security for the League Conference this year. If we do it he says that he's willing to let the Rangers use the space during the off season. I told him we would think about it and that you would need to look it over but it sounds perfect for us. What do you think?"
"I agree but I think we should all look it over first." said Gaddwick nodding. "What do you two think?" he asked Miomoko and Alice.

Listening intently to Luci speaking from the PC, Alice couldn't help but feel the information was going a bit over her head. She must be missing the background behind all this, and therefore she was not entirely sure what it all meant. Nevertheless, she paid attention, piecing things together in her mind and storing them away for later when it may be needed. She wondered what had gone on before she had joined the Rangers; it seemed like a lot had happened.
She did, however, recognize the name Luci had mentioned, Mr. Goodshow. She'd heard that one before. "That doesn't sound bad," she said of the offer the Rangers had been given. "It sounds like a pretty good deal, actually." Wanting to give a slightly better opinion than that, she fell silent as she considered it more, but her opinion stayed the same.

Miomoko listened to every word spoke from Luci through the PC. She didn't recognize some of the names, but decided to take in anything said, because she was sure all of those names, and updates would come in handy in the future. When it came near to the end of Luci's updates, she spoke a bit about a deal with the Pokemon League. She was intrgued instantly, even more intrigued when her and Alice's opinion's were asked. Mio listened to what Alice had to say, "I agree with Alice and Luci. It does sound like a fairly good deal. We'd all be trusted with some amazing security responsablities for the League Conference, and then when the season came, perfect space for training. Sounds pretty good to me." That sounded like a fairly good deal to her.

((OoC: Some of these things were in the archives but I don't really expect you to know them fully. Firstly there was a fire at the original HQ on a mountaintop base. Team Nova did a flyby attack with a Charizard. However due to the speed that the fire spread it was suspected they had internal help. Prof Hastings Junior was the HQ's resident scientist and produced our stylers. Docor Raphael was our sort of in base Pokemon center. (I'm sort of trying to trim down on unnecessary NPC's.)
Second is Mineshadow who was pretty much the real head of the Rangers while Gadd was still inexperienced. However Incepator who played Mineshadow hasn't been seen on Gaia for months. It was time that her character was officially cut.
Third is 'The Originzation'. Team Nova is essentially the new Team Rocket. The was previously a naming contest with the original owner but they left and I wasn't able to recover all the entries so I picked on that would fit the theme that was used in the games.
A small change was also made in the encyclopedia. The Kanto Ranger branch, which is now the head ranger branch, was moved from Viridian to Vermilion. Viridian was too close to Indego Platueau that it didn't make sense to have the two groups so close to each other.))
Gaddwick turned back to the screen. "That settles it. We have to look it over but if everything goes as expected we'll do it. If the President stops by don't hesitate to give him my number. I'll keep my phone on for as long as I can." Luci made a note before beginning again. "One last thing then. The Kanto branch usually recruits the same day the the Exam but this year they're still busy with the repairs on their base. Cameron says they have enough members and weren't planning on taking in many new members. We're very understaffed here. We could use more rangers here. If you would be willing I could set it up for us."
"I can't see how it would hurt. What do you need from us on our side."
"Just show up to the test early tomorrow. 8:00 would give you an hour to set up. The test will start at 1:00 so that should give you enough time. Other than that there isn't anything else to report." "Good we can do that. Thank you Luci." "No problem" The screen returned to its off-line state as Luci disconnected.
"Looks like we have a lot to do tomorrow. I hope you don't mind staying here. I just want to be here if Kadabra wakes up. I already got your things."

Miomoko listened to the conversation. Luci signed off. "I'm fine with staying here for the night." She replied. "I don't suppose there's anywhere to train, is there Gadd?"
