Grim stared upon before perking his ears back up at Lolli. "Hmm?" he said at her. He would mostly say this when in deep though, but now it seemed his only way of response to her "Uhm..." He tilted his head as he looked at her. "What's on your mind Lolli?" he asked as he shoved his has in his pockets.

Stunned, she was surprised that Grim didn't already know the answer to that. "My hair, silly." She pointed to her mess of rainbow hair. What a silly question for such a smart person to ask.
She looked around, and found no way up from the plateau they were on. The rooms had been untouched, and abandoned. A smarter person would've never entered, out of the caution of asbestos, or out of the faulty unfinished foundation under their feet.
The stairs they had climbed, had been steep, which just led to a small, compact room. A boarded up hallway lead to somewhere, and a caged elevator lead somewhere also.
She turned to her 'intelligent' friend, as if to ask which direction to go.

As seen, Grim's brain cells seemed to be depleting. He wasn't aware of it, well maybe he was...just didn't want to show it. Exploring this building was really smart at all, but he fell for it any other way. He nodded when they reached the top and fixated his chin to the left. "That way." he said with a short breath before walking slowly.

Cheerfully, she followed, fixated on the boy in front of her. She saw the floor sink below him, like something pulling him down with a creak. Grabbing his wrist, she tugged him back toward her. A small, but dangerous hole in his footprint ahead of them. It wasn't out of fear of his safety that she did this, just that she wanted to see the grabby-monster before him.

Being tugged back, Grim nearly sneered at her. But once looking at what had occurred, he quickly changed his thought. He noticed the sink hole under his feet and just nodded toward Lolli. "Thanks." he said, quick. Before wanting to go on ahead. He wriggled his wrist within her grasp, a random motion from his point of view.

Blinking, she tried to remember what the word, 'Thanks' meant. Her memory was getting better, but it was still fuzzy. Like baby ducks.
She didn't let go, it was a bold move on her part, but she did enjoy the feel of touching. She would never tell Vivi, but she liked touching boys. Not that it was often that she could.
Her hand slid down from his wrist, and clasped his hand. Thinking herself practical, this would deter monsters in the floor, or something else that would want to eat them. Lolli didn't blush, or smile. This was serious business.

Grim just hesitated for a moment, as he felt the crawling of Lolli's hand into his. He really didn't understand what in the world it was for, as was uttered shocked when she did such a thing. Should he shake her hand out of his? Naw, that would be too rude. Should he suggest something else? Naw, that might through off focus of whatever she was going to do next. He just stood there, in utter silence, looking away from her.

She didn't blush, or show any cute bishoujo attributes--Holding Grim's hand was practical and needed doing.
What if they got lost..? Being this cramped in a dilapidated dying building could be a maze to the blind. Hopefully neither of them would be struck blind. Because that would be to Ironic.
"Wanna keep going?" She asked, looking up at him. It didn't really matter to her. She already forgot about how much she wanted to taste the sky.

Grim replied with a nod of his head. "Yep, let's keep on going." he said with a grin. He was determined actually to taste the sky, well, if it even had a taste. This thought caught his mind again as he wondered. What did the sky taste like? Just another mystery unsolved to him.
