Christina said goodbye to Tracey, and then turned to Riot. Her eyes were still red, but she didn't cry. Instead she sat on the counter, away from the spill. "I think that the doctor my parents took me to knew something he wasn't telling. I think that I can do other things beside heal. Things that radiation did on Earth. I'm been reading, though, and the only similar things I can find make me..." She didn't know how to say it, and she played with her ponytail, not looking at him. "I think I can maybe become a nuclear reactor... or something like it that generates power. I've been trying and nothings happening, though." Now she was babbling. "Sorry," she said quietly.

He smiled at her in joy, she had confirmed his suspicion. Kain would definitely love her. "Well this Doctor's name is Mr. Shazul, i promise any potential you have he will find. No secrets or lies like these dull minded humans." He told her the truth, Kain would know how to unlock anything and with a power magnificently destructive as her's she would be a good candidate for the black rose. "So what do you say?" He stuck out his hand, thy would jump the instant she touched him.

Christina gulped. All along, this had been what she was looking for. The UH and the Faction, the power to bring her out of the HEC.... Was this really what she wanted? She flinched, and frowned. Then she nodded. "All right, I'll go. If you promise." She reached out and took his hand.

He had never needed to worry about the affects of dimensional rifts on other people. He assumed theyd hear a loud pop, and feel like theyre bodies were being ripped into several thousand piece's. He graspeded her hand and focused on Kains balcony. When the rift ended they arrived standing outside of Kain's flying mansion, the wind blew and his white hair swirled. "Were here." He turned to make sure she was ok.

Christina gasped for air as she straightened. "I--" she said, then glared at him. She wanted to slap him, and she was crying. "I would have liked to know that you were going to do that." Feeling a little thunder-struck, her hand grabbed at his arm. "But I think I'd like to do it again. That's a weird thing to say, isn't it? But it was very exciting." She ended up smiling instead of glaring. "Thank you, I guess, for bringing me here."

((Yeah your next post needs to be there))

He looked at her and laughed. "You are the happiest rying person ive ever seen." He was just glad she didnt leave a leg behind."Dont be to hasty jumping with me, im not sure exactly how it works and you could lose a limb." There was no smile to that statement, the last thing he wanted RIGHT NOW was to harm her.She was valueable and kain would kill him for losing such a find.He looked out agt the sky above and the ground miles below. "Great view. Kain's inside dealing with another patient." He figured hed give her this last pleasure before Kain did whatever he would with her.

Tracey stamped a few books and handed them to teh person that wanted to checkthem out. "They're due back in three weeks, have a nice day." she faked a smile, not wanting to be working at the moment. She glanced off at the clock and checked the time. "Hey, I'm taking my break." she called over to a fellow librarian. Grabbing her bag and camera she headed out the doors onto the street.

Nimm stood in a back alley, munching on an apple she had swiped from an outdoor stand. in her other hand was a flier she had found describing the new curfew. She frowned at it, not liking the new rule. It would definetly make things harder when she was out and about at night.

Nimm tilted her head slightly, catching a glimpse of Singe blush. She smiled slightly and moved to walk beside him. "It's been awhile since I've been there, I think I forgot how to get there anyway." she admitted. After a moment, she followed his gaze to the castle. "That was never there before?" she noted quietly. Hearing Singe mumble something she blinked. "Singe?"

He'd look to her with red eye full of excitement and malice, though the dark glow would fade as he'd allow her to catch up and simply offer her a grin.

"My apologies...random castle popping up out of nowhere must be a trigger for rantings." He'd then chuckle a bit, still using his new staff as a walking stick. "That castle...it's not quite random; rather it's strange to see him coming so close to populated land. That would be Kain's castle...no doubt Ishado's on edge. I'll admit, my stomach's turning as well..." He'd then stare at her for a moment, forgetting to speak. He'd remember after a bit as a blush covered his cheeks yet again. "But, my stomach seems to calm whenever I look at you, or simply talk to you. So...thank you."

Nimm looked from Singe to the castle as he mentioned who it belonged too. It was not a comforting thought to know who it belonged too. She'd look back at Singe as there seemed to be a long pause of silence. She smiled, also blushing as he thanked her. "Your welcome. I like to talk and spend time with with you, so that's not real hard." she said, still in her quiet tone.

He'd look to her for a moment, then simply smile and let his blood calm. "I think you're the first person to ever enjoy time around me...it's almost enough to give me a complex." He'd think for a moment...not many people truly knew him, and those that did in this world, such as Kain and Riot only knew him to be a hostile force not meant to be disturbed. But then there was Nimm who he made sure never to throw any sort of attitude at...which was made so easy given her attitude. And he wondered...she seemed like the type to keep clear of the public, and those that didn't have the patience to get to know her, or rather the vermin that made up this world, only acted hostile towards her. If not for Ravyn, he wondered what she'd be like...and what she'd do if he weren't around to just hang out with her.

"I'm sorry...the world doesn't take the time to understand you, nor try to embrace you. I'm overjoyed you've a friend like Ravyn, and honestly, I'm glad I chose to stick to you whether you liked it or not. This world's not Earth, but it's still large and rather dark in perspective...I don't think anyone should wander this world alone. I'm sorry I couldn't come to your aide sooner, Nimm..." His head would now hand forward, raven locks falling over his face as he drew nearer the shop.

Nimm simply smiled some more. She spoke truthfully and glad it was something he wanted to hear. Upon hearing the apology however she looked up, the smile fading somewhat. "You shouldn't apologize for something that even you don't have control over." she said kindly. "Though I do appreciate that you stayed when we met." she smiled a bit more. Looking up at the cafe she could already smell some of the food. She had in fact forgotten for a moment where they were going and why, for awhile there.
PostPosted: Thu Jul 10, 2008 6:46 pm

He's seal off the cursed eye as the cafe came in to view. "It's a habit...it may not be my fault, but it doesn't mean I'm not sorry, and sympathetic. You must of had such a lonely life...it's sad. I'll refuse to let it continue, and I'll always be so, so sorry you had to feel such pain to begin with." He'd take in the smells and arch a brow...it was sure as hell different than the smell of a roasted turkey's leg. He'd also smell chocolate, something he consumed on a regular basis, or rather used to even though it lit his veins on fire. But, that was part of the reason he loved it. "This place...no doubt they put chocolate in the coffee, but please tell me they sell it by itself!?" There would, for the first time, be a look of hope in his eyes that made them nearly sparkle.

"One tends to learn how to function by one's self. It's true, Rayvn's a good friend, but she's not always around. Lack of physical contact when growing up isn't all that great either, kind of grinds it into your head that your alone." without thinking she would rub the old scar on her arm. She frowned slightly and sighed, determined not to dwell on past moments in life that this conversation seem to stir up. Hearing the bit about chocolate she looked up and nodded, a smile starting to return. "I'm sure they do. Most stores around here do."
