Turbine climbed up Izaak and onto hios shoulder, pointing at the hat, then at Cat, back and forth over and over.
Tori stopped, panting in a side alley. Why had he run? Was he afriad of Izaak? No. He was afraid of Cat finding out that he had liked Izaak. Amnd Justyn.

Izaak was curious of the the deal with the rat...Was it trying to indicate something about three blind mice? "I have no idea what this rat is doing..." he put the rat next to Tori's hat. His curiousity raised. He reached for the hat, and yanked it, surprisingly being pulled down by it, nearly falling. A soft landing on the floor. "What's with this hat?!" Izaak exclaimed. It was heavier than he could've anticipated. With ease he lifted it after that, now that he was aware of its weight. He brought it to the table in front of Cat now, studying it. "Weird."

The rat palmed its face, and pointed at Cat again, then at the hat, then the door. Hopefully this big moron would get the picture, Turbine thought hopefully. Maybe.

Izaak wondered more. The hat was a big hint. It obviously meant Tori somehow, but how did Cat figure into this? "Got no time for a rat." He look at his watch, as if he'd known the time Tori left, or better yet, as if he was timing Tori. "He's been gone a while. Ah, maybe I should go see if he's alright...he forgot his hat..." He picked up the hat, and went out the door.

Tori sighed as he sat down on the curb.He felt as if he had betrayed Izaak, even if nothing had happened between them. He also felt horridfor abandoning Justyn. He hadn't even worked on a way to wake the boy.
Turbine fell to the floor, shrugged, and climbed back into the hat.

"Hey, Tori..." Izaak said from far away. It was possible, but unlikely, that Tori heard him all that well. He gestured with the hat that weighed a couple stones, telling that he forgot it. he was approaching at a slow walk, but he'd get there in time.

Tori's ears pricked up, the pointy ends escaoping his hair. He stood and turned around, looking like a wreck. It hadn't been quite so noticable in the apartment, but here, it was obvious he'd been sleeping ion the same clothes for ages, hadn't washed hios hair for a while, and was generally very scruffy and rough round the edges.

"You forgot your hat" he motioned. He didn't say anything more, for fear of driving him off again. he wasn't close enough to see his face, but he would be soon.

Tori walked up and took it back, looking at the ground. "I'm sorry." he said hoarsely. "I... I'm with Cat now."

"Ahh..." He was astonished, and confused. it explained a lot soon--his running, the timidness, and Cat being uneasy. It made sense. "Well, I cant say I dind't see this coming..." He said it preemptively, but still was saddened. He looked slightly toward the floor.

To4ri hugged Izaak tightly. "I'll always care about you and Justyn, Izaak. You were both... very helpful and kind to an old man." he smiled, placing a card in his hand. It looked like a dragon holding a small world. "You're welcome to come to the Roost anytime. Find Ridley, show this to him. I would very much enjoy having you as my personal aide."

Somehow, the idea of being his personal aide just wasn't appealing. He took the card, politely, although with no actual intention of seeking anything it would bring. He was suddenly dimmed, as if a light bulb that just wasn't shining as brightly. "Well, you're awake now, so there's nothing for me to worry about you for...might as well go back to Justyn. you go tell cat that she's welcome to join same as you are. You know where I'll be." he patted tori twice on his upper arm, very close to his shoulder, then turned, and slowly headed away, towards Justyn's place, not showing his crushed spirit and greatly saddened face.

"Izaak, I..." he sighed, then sahook his head. Nothing he could say would do anything to help. He put his hart back on and walked back to Cat's sitting on the couch with a sad face and slumped shoulders.

Izaak sighed, looking back to watch Tori run away again. still, Izaak had to get Justyn over there somehow, and there was no way to do it himself. He really hoped Tori would at least help him carry Justyn. Maybe he was just better off where he was? Izaak found himself inside the apartment, nobody there except himself and Justyn's unconscious body. It was alright for him, because he felt like being alone for a while. A long while, perhaps.

Cat had sat at the kitchen table a bit longer after both Tori and Izaak left. She didn't have time to stand up and stop Tori from leaving, and Izaak took off shortly after, not even realizing what teh little rats was telling him. 'Smart little rodent...' she thought to herself as Izaak left with the hat. She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair, as was her habit. Standing up she went to Caleb's door and unlocked it.
By the time Tori had gotten back she had cleaned up Caleb's room and set most of his stuff in boxes that went into a closet. She poked her head out of the door as she heard some one walk in, and watched as Tori took a seat on the couch. Setting the last box in teh closet she stood up and walked over quietly, taking a seat next to him. "You alright?" she asked.
