"Souls aren't programed love.." she murmured softly, sadly almost as she gazed at their daughter in her arm. Guyy inspected her eyes and Kaori was fascinating as she watched the lenses adjust within. Reassured that she'd awaken soon the tigress had a wave of relief pass through her, her muscles relaxing and letting her breathe as he instructed her. Remaining silent as she sensed her love's movements, he was ever wary and watchful and silently she was thankful he was so vigilant.
She groaned as the little one within pressed on her in ways she hadn't thought imaginable. Her brow creased in furrow but over all she wasn't experiencing the pain in great detail that was normally associated with labour. Dulled greatly by her inert ability to heal, she closed her eyes and focused. Albeit it, it wasn't easy a grimace was etched on her features.
A soft voice called her, not by name and not by a legendary title, but one she never thought she truly deserved. "Nngh!!" Until today. This moment.. Taking a deep breath she sighed as the contraction passed and panted softly as the two spoke over her, she was too internally focused to really hear what it was they were talking about. Yaone loosened enough to let Ilia go and re-wrapped herself around her mistress.
There was a touch at her thigh, familiar, comforting and it drew her attention to hear an apology. "Better you milove than anyone else. I trust you." she replied the words strained as she grit her teeth, her jaw clenching. Once more her eyes closed and she focused her healing within, seeing her baby in a glowing light behind her eyes, positioned just right, she could see and manipulate things her body didn't need as strong contractions as she focused, the passageway she made less of a squeeze and watched as he slowly descended in waves.
"Ahhhh... nnnngh..." she moaned as another contraction took her and she panted again with another mini break. She was waiting for the confirmation now that he could see his head beginning to emerge.

Guyy's eyes darted between his lover's face and his task at hand, monitoring her with every sense intently. Though she did not suffer as much as a human woman, and the birth was much faster for her, she still seemed very pained. That was to be expected though. This was not an easy thing for any female to do. Even demons.
She managed to keep up the breathing, resisting the urge to push down even though he knew her body would be demanding it. It would only distress both her and their son if she pushed too early though. He watched her carefully as she rode out another contraction.
"Good, keep it up my love. You're doing fine." he soothed softly, pressing his lips to one of her bent knees. It was all he could reach.
The trust she had in him encouraged him to do his best. He really wasn't sure what he was doing, though he'd read book upon book about the procedure. There was no substitute for experience however, and he hadn't really planned on a water birth out in the middle of nowhere. He'd spent so long making the room they were in birth friendly, lots of fresh blankets and towels, sterile tools in case of emergency, everything they might have needed. And now it was just him, her, their daughter and a Chimera working with natural spring water and found blankets.
He hoped their son had his immune system at least. It would be all too easy for him to catch an infection out here.
"Mama..." Ilia sighed, feeling her clench with pain. She wondered if it was really supposed to be this way. Despite the careful explanation and diagrams her Daddy had given her, it looked so sore and scary. She could sort of remember bits of her creation. She wondered whether he would be able to as well. Bright blue eyes peered down at Guyy, watching what he was doing when she wasn't gazing up at her mother. Her eyes went wide.
Suddenly, she was glad she wasn't a real female.
Another contraction took up his attention from his thoughts for the time being. Which was probably a good thing. He worried less when he was focussed and busy. That contraction had done its job, combined with Kaori's own skills.
"Good, great! I can see his head love, he's crowning!" Excitement mixed with nerves and efficiency in his voice. He was seeing his own son for the first time! It was much more emotional than sensing him within his beloved. "Okay, this is the hardest part. It'll be over real soon. You're amazing, love, it's going perfectly. Now, when you get the urge to push, push as hard as you can! Keep breathing through the contractions, almost there!" he told her encouragingly.
He rubbed at her thigh affectionately as he prepared himself to help her and their son out when it was needed. He could hardly believe it was really happening now. Up until this point he had sort of been in a daze. But there was his son, ready to be born.
He wiped at one of his scarlet eyes with the back of his hand, leaving a faint black smear.

Mostly panting filled the area and gasps of shock at the amount of pain she did feel, even in the worst of battles and tortures, she hadn't experienced anything like this. She was lucky she had this inert ability to nurture if she chose or kill if she chose. And this child she had been the first she'd chosen to nurture to full term and deliver.
Not that Guyy would ever know that.
Her moans of discomfort subsided as she waited for the next contraction, the wait seemed to take forever and that time was filled with encouragement and instruction. Continuing to breathe deeply as she was reminded to another contraction finally rocked her and she pushed through this time, releasing for a short break and panting, all her years of pain had her trained not to cry out not to give that satisfaction that she was being hurt, that she actually felt it.
The tigress did groan softly though, her break didn't last long, another contraction and she once more pushed through, the babe rotating a bit now that the head was out.. the shoulders were next. A few more minutes another contraction another push and he was free of her. Kaori sagged back in the water happy the worst part was over, listening carefully for the sound of his first cry and watching her love in anticipation to receive her baby boy.

"Keep going love... almost there! Push again! Good girl!" Guyy murmured to her, more so that she'd have the sound of his voice than to actually guide her. She probably wasn't listening now anyway, and was letting nature take its course now that she'd begun. Once she went with the urge to bear down it would have been near impossible for her to ignore that instinct.
He grimaced a little. Though she did not cry out as most women would have she groaned softly. To his ears that was almost as bad as a full scream, coming from her. She never gave away her pain. She'd had centuries to perfect that little trick. And yet this was her first birth. The thought that she would live so long before finally allowing him to father her child filled him with deep love for her. He recognised the honour of such a thing.
But he hadn't the time to think of honour or her history at that moment. He spared a quick glance for their daughter, meeting her eyes. She wore an expression of absolute horror. It would have been amusing if not for the current situation. His beloved on the other hand had an expression of deep concentration on her beautiful features. Ilia hugged against her in shock at what she was witnessing. And yet... this was the single most remarkable thing she'd ever seen.
"Wonderful! One more... it's almost over!" Guyy cheered her on. Suddenly the babe turned and was free. Guyy scooped him up out of the water against his chest before laying him out along his forearm, slightly head down. He glanced him over. He was... "Perfect, my love, he's perfect!" There was a laugh in his voice as he held his son. There was just one thing bothering him. He lay his other hand over his back and gave him a little rub.
"Come on baby, breathe for daddy. Give us a cry..." He urged, massaging the infant's spine carefully and holding his own breath. For far too long it seemed nothing was happening, though it was a second or two at most. And then a little squirm and a soft babyish hiccough. Grimacing at the injustice of having been forced into the world the little boy began to bawl. Guyy relaxed, relief on his face as he bent down to lay the child on his stomach on his mother's chest.
"Say hi to your mama, Aldric." he smiled, cheeks stained black as he leaned over to kiss he beloved's forehead in congratulations. He spared a little kiss for Ilia too who was staring at the child in utter amazement and horror. Even Cloudchaser had opened his eyes and was silently witnessing the moment.
Guyy had other things to attend to soon, but for the moment they were caught up in the embrace of family.

Her heart skipped a beat as she watched her son not stir for a moment and then with the stimulus of her love rubbing his back, the babe coughed and cried. Kaori released the breath she'd been holding thanking the gods that he was ok. As Guyy delivered him to her, her light spread over his tiny body once again making sure his lungs were clear. At once she began to purr softly having her new born in her arms. He was simply.. amazing. Surreal.
The tigress looked over to Ilia, worried about the look on her daughter's features, "It's ok now, come closer to take a look sweetie." she beckoned the little android, while receiving a kiss on her forehead, she smiled softly. Looking up to Guyy, could see his cheeks stained in black... "Oro?" she reached up and brushed at his cheeks, the black smudging and washing away with the water. Tears. He was overwhelmed by it all.
"I'm so sorry, you have been brilliant sweetheart. I love you so much."

He was amazing. Guyy could barely believe it. He had a son, and he and his love were okay. Everything was okay. All that waiting was over. The soft purr from his beloved soothed his nerves as well as eased the child. He watched as she worked her skills on him, making sure he was fine and doing the things Guyy himself could not.
Ilia stared at the little wriggling person on her Mama's chest. She was shocked. She knew what would happen, but she couldn't believe her eyes. When Kaori spoke to her she shuffled closer nervously. She just watched him for a while. He was so loud! And so small. She had no idea people started out so tiny.
Guyy heard his name called and he gazed down at Kaori with great affection and a wide smile on his lips. Her hand brushed his cheek, wiping away the black tears tenderly. A strange side effect of the curse Mother Gaia had placed on him. He just felt too many things at once to stop them rolling down his cheeks. Relief, released fear, but most of all, joy. He turned his head to kiss at her hand as she stroked his cheek.
He moved to embrace her and their children, kissing her softly as he laughed wryly.
"Don't you ever," kiss "ever," kiss "ever apologise ever again for giving me a son. You hear me?" He laughed. "Look what you did. He's perfect. You were amazing. I love you. I love you more than you can imagine." He smiled down at her affectionately, feeling himself brimming with love for her.
Ilia didn't even protest as her parents got all mushy and soppy again. She was staring at Aldric. Cautiously she raised a hand towards him, pausing as she glanced up at the pair of them. Guyy caught the movement and gave her a soft grin and a little nod of encouragement. She reached forward, her fingertips brushing the baby's arm gently. He moved. She gasped and withdrew in surprise.
"He's real!" She exclaimed, eyes going even wider. Guyy laughed quietly at her.
"Of course he is, honey. He's your baby brother." he smiled, sensing the gentle pulse of the cord that joined mother and son slow to a stop. He sighed. One with his job. He left Ilia staring at the baby as he moved back down in front of Kaori reluctantly.
He had nothing to tie or cut the cord with. Everything was back at the house. He frowned. Troublesome. Until something nudged at the back of his mind. He raised an eyebrow and looked down at the ruby eyes of Myurr who was trying to get his attention. The shadow snake passed along a couple of thoughts and his master smiled. Of course. He reached out and the snake moved to his son, wrapping tightly around the cord and, with a flash of onyx teeth, severing it. He'd function as a clamp until they got home, happy to be of help.
"Let me know if you feel the urge to push again love, and then just go ahead whenever you're ready." He murred up to Kaori as he checked her over. There was no damage her own talents wouldn't take care of shortly at least. The remainder would just be a matter of time and rest. He really didn't look forward to this next part, but once it was all over, they could finally relax.

Kaori just about laughed from relief as Guyy planted kisses between speech upon her. Scolding her for apologizing. That hadn't been what she was apologizing about, but having stressed him out enough to cause him to become overwhelmed, to be the one causing tears.. even if they were ones of joy and relief.
Kaori looked up from her son and Ilia, smiling as she noted Guyy moving around her, Myurr served to clamp the cord and sever it and she let a finger run over the snakes head in gratitude. "Thank-you Myurr.. very much appreciated." she spoke through her purr and once more as she looked up at Guyy.
"I.. have some internal work to do on that... I won't be ready for a little while longer yet.. there is time to figure out something better than ... in here." she told him softly as though there were a hidden problem she was already taking care of but needed her full concentration for. She didn't want to alarm Ilia or Cloudchaser even all that much. Guyy would understand.
With a soft kiss to her babe's forehead she looked up to Cloudchaser, "Will you... hold him while I dry off a bit?" she was sure she was going to need Guyy's support to help her out but dealing with the next part was going to be slightly troublesome. And gross. "Ilia..? Will you take him to Cloudchaser? But be very careful, he's not anywhere near as strong as his big sister..."
The tigress looked to her love reaching for his hand, "Let's hurry, Mother Gaia has gifted us with precious heat for long enough, I don't want to tax her needlessly if it's the case. I am grateful, very grateful for this precious birth and the safety we are surrounded in."

The stress would pass. He was more than happy now. And she had endured far more than he had. He loved her so much, he was beaming widely despite the tears. She purred to Myurr, both he and Guyy getting a little delight from the gently finger she ran over his scales. She knew fine well they would both experience that. Guyy gave her a smirk.
"Internal...? Ah right." She was up to something. He was concerned of course, wondering what she was doing. Maybe there was something he wasn't aware of when it came to demon afterbirths. He glanced to the little robot. She was still staring, though for a moment there seemed like a twitch of a smile growing as she studied her brother. Though his own smile grew as Kaori kissed her son gently. That really was heartwarming.
"It would be an honour, aunt." came the quiet rumble. He was listening in, despite appearing entirely relaxed. He stood up from where he had crouched and gave Ilia an encouraging glance.
"Mama..?" The little android looked up at Kaori, somewhat shocked that she should be asked to carry him. He looked so small and fragile. "What if I drop him?" She frowned.
"You'll be fine. Here. I'll show you." Guyy moved over and gently took the wriggling babe from Kaori, demonstrating how to hold his head up for the little android. "In fact, grab one of those blankets first."
Ilia climbed out of the pool and took up a fleecy blanket in her arms. She Held it up and he gently lowered the boy into it, wrapping him up warmly. Ilia gazed down into his face as he settled into the cloth, holding him tightly and warmly. She smiled. He was quiet now, and she had to admit he was sort of cute.
"So, what do you think of your baby brother?" Guyy asked Ilia as she smiled at him.
"He's small. And loud. And he's all wrinkly and a funny colour." She wrinkled up her nose, not able to tear her eyes away from him. "And he's... he's..." she had trouble finding words. "I like him a whole lot." She murmured eventually.
Guyy smiled and shooed her on her way. She carefully and slowly moved up the path to where the Chimera waited for her. Though he suspected she would not be easily convinced to let go of her brother now. it wasn't important, Cloudchaser was watching over them both. They were safe.
"There's a bed in the structure behind you." he pointed to the gazebo. Cloudchaser looked at it and nodded, leading Ilia and her brother inside. Guyy watched them go before he turned back to Kaori.
"There, they're out of the way." He smiled at her quietly, all too aware she just wanted them distracted while they got the last bit over with. He took her hand in his and kissed it. He'd help her with anything she needed now, she knew what she was doing from here on. "What do you want me to do for you?"

Kaori was so lucky she barely had to do a thing as Guyy organized Cloudchaser and Ilia off with their newborn. She was smiling though, the exchange between them had been heartwarming. He turned back to her and asked what it was she needed him to do.
"All I need... is some protection for a while." she sounded exhausted, "But it's nothing to worry over, I am safe. As is our boy." Ever so stiffly she waded out of the water with his help over to the blankets nearby and lay down gingerly, covering herself.
"A little.. unconventional.. I know.. just be sure not to move me too much, I don't have energy to spare.."
and with that, flat on her back but covered in blankets, her eyes drooped heavily and closed. Appearing to fall into slumber.
And so began her delicate process of undoing a complication that had occurred without anyone but her ever knowing. At the moment she was literally rebuilding parts of her internal anatomy, the afterbirth slowly separating itself from her tissues within. Her cells healing, the blood retreating back into her system and out of the placenta, it crumbled into a heap within her and once it was free and her inner glow dissipated, that too she would be ready to shed. At least now it wouldn't turn her inside out and later she could concentrate on healing her tissues back into the small tight parts they had once been. But for now at least she wasn't bleeding out.
The time it took, although it wasn't long, was probably nerve wracking for Guyy wondering just what was going on with her. At long last she opened her eyes blinking tiredly up at him. "Looks like... I'll survive this." she didn't want to move, she just wanted to lie there and rest, too many times had she had this feeling and just like those times did she curl on her side and push herself up.
Drawing the blanket around her, she shielded view as she knelt on one knee, the other leg extended, but was crouched low to the ground for several moments, her brow furrowed and then smoothed her eyes opening halfway and then lifted to look for him, her eyes glazed. There was a sizzle, the sound of the last of her energy being spent, before her eyes fell closed and finally gave in to her weakened state.
There would be nothing left of the afterbirth, not even a scorch mark. Her light died away entirely and with it her half-bred transformation, leaving her in her human state and quite unconscious.

Guyy nodded, though his brow creased a little in concern. Protection was something he could provide at least, as well as support as he helped her out of the water. She was an amazement to him still, and though she was weak and shaky, she managed to climb out of the pool and make it to one of the other blankets. He helped her make herself comfortable, wrapping the soft material around her to help her warm up and dry.
"I'll be right here." He murmured to her as her eyes closed and she tended to herself. That in itself was deeply worrying for him. She shouldn't have needed such deep concentration to heal the normal injuries associated with childbirth. He brushed back her hair from her face and waited over her. He grabbed a towel from the ground and wrapped it around his own shoulders. He dried himself down a little, ruffling his hair as he watched her, wondering what was going on within her. He could sense changes, but they were hard to follow.
Up at the gazebo Cloudchaser smiled down at his two young cousins. He'd found the bed Guyy had mentioned and lowered it from the ceiling where it swung slightly. He took the bundled infant from Ilia to give her a chance to climb up before handing him back. little arms reached out for him, eager to hold him again.
"I have never seen a human newborn." He said in a soft voice, looking at the boy cautiously. "He looks... fragile."
"Maybe he is, he sure looks it." She nodded, cuddling him. Cloudchaser gave the bed a gentle push, rocking the pair of them. "He's real cool though."
"Is he? I could get another blanket." The Chimera suggested. Ilia giggled and shook her head.
"That's not what I mean. I mean he's... he's brilliant. Can you believe he was inside Mama all this time?" She smiled, captivated as the little boy squeaked softly and flexed a little.
"Mhm. He's certainly unique." The Chimera smiled serenely, with that same expression that often said he knew things other did not. Ilia didn't notice, she was too busy cuddling the babe.
Guyy waited with concern, resting a hand on her as she worked. He could sense a lot of work being done within her and that caused him to frown deeply. He wished they'd been back at the house, where he could really help her. Out here all he could do was watch over her and wait with baited breath. If she had been hurt... She woke. His eyes snapped back to her as they opened slowly. He smiled cautiously.
"Hey. You okay?" he said softly. She looked tired. That wasn't surprising, she seemed to be using up a lot of energy. He moved with her to help her as she tried to stand up, patiently waiting as she hesitated part way up. She looked up at him, and then collapsed.
"s**t." He murmured, catching her swiftly before she hit the ground. He cradled her close to his chest. "Kaori? Love?" He asked her, checking her over carefully.
His fingers ran through her golden hair.
Golden? He stared at her locks. She was human again. She must have used up all her energy. He was very worried about her now. He bundled her up in the blanket and carried her up to the gazebo, laying her down on the bed. Cloudchaser moved aside, giving them a curious look as he took a seat on the wooden floor. Ilia looked up and then at her mother.
"Is Mama okay?" She asked as Guyy climbed onto the bed beside them both.
"She'll be fine honey. She just needs to sleep." He replied in a soft voice, wrapping Kaori in his arms. He did his best to hide his worry from her. "How's your brother doing?"
"He's lovely Daddy. Can we really keep him?"
The snakeman laughed quietly and reached out to ruffle her hair, nodding.
"Forever, my little star. You helped us so much today. I'm proud of you."

Yaone watched Kaori carefully, it had been a long time since she'd seen her mistress so spent that she was forced to revert back to her human self for using up all of her energy. She slept peacefully and deeply, beautifully serene. Amber-orange orbs turned on the babe that tested the air with outstretched limbs and tiny fingers. Moving ever so slowly and carefully she manoeuvred to spy on the child.
He was cute.
A little button nose and chubby little cheeks, pouty little lips parted just so. His eyes were still closed but he looked groggy.. only he looked like he was waking up instead of recuperating, sleeping. He had thankfully quieted down quite a bit.
Yaone looked back for mum, these moments were important for bonding, if he woke and bonded with the android instead...
-He needssss to bond with hisss mother and father. Before he wakesss..- she hissed softly. -It'sss important, even if ssshe sleepssss. He will be hungry and looking for nourishment ssssoon.-

Yaone wasn't the only one watching Kaori carefully. Guyy alternated between silently fussing over her and smiling at his children. He brushed golden strands away from her cheeks and forehead, small kissing covering her shoulders as she slept. He was clearly very much in love, and very worried. But he knew there was nothing he could do for her.
The baby squirmed a little in his sister's arms. Ilia smiled at the snake as she inspected the child, quite happy to let her near. Of course, as far as the android was concerned, she was a part of Mama just as Myurr was part of Daddy. She looked up at Guyy as the snake hissed a few words.
"Is that right, Daddy?" She asked gently.
"Hm?" Guyy's attention was drawn from sleeping Kaori as they spoke. He looked to the boy. She was right. He needed her, and she needed him. "Yes sweetie. Here, Give him to me."
He reached over and gently lifted the sleeping infant, cradling him in his arms and gazing down at him fondly.
"I have a special task for you. His uncles should be told. They'd be mad at me for not letting them know first." He chuckled, shooing the little android on her way as he moved to rest the baby on his mother's chest, tucking him under her blanket. Her wrapped both son and lover in his arms and rested with them cheek against her shoulder as they rested together.

As soon as the child was laid upon his mother, she took a deep breath and let it go, a subconscious sigh of sorts. Yaone was satisfied anyway, that was how it was supposed to be, in her mind anyway.
Giving Kaori, Guyy and the child an affectionate little nuzzle... totally out of character for the snake.. she slithered off to join Ilia able to keep up with the robots pace. And left the others for a while, she wanted to feed on the way and knew the lot of them were well and safe without her for a few moments.

Guyy smiled down at Kaori and their son as they lay together, wrapped in a blanket. The soft sigh eased his nerves just a little, though he refused to let go of them both. Not until she woke, unless their boy needed something. He did raise his hand to give Yaone a stroke in return for the friendly nuzzle. It seemed everyone was feeling affectionate today, and it was no wonder. If was hard to feel anything but love when faced with such a peaceful scene. Despite Guyy's concern.
"Thank you Yaone. You've been so good to us." he murmured with a smile as she slithered away behind Ilia. It was good to give her something to do. He knew she always felt happiest when she felt needed and helpful. He turned his head and watched her go. She seemed quite pleased by her brand new baby brother at least. He was confident they'd be hard to separate as they grew.
"Yaone!" Ilia giggled as the snake caught up to her. She bent down to give the snake a quick stroke happily. She wasn't running at full speed now, jogging along merrily instead. "Isn't it great? I don't think Daddy ever made me that small. He felt all nice and warm." She smiled as they walked along, skirting the edge of the trees. She had spotted Jack and Raven earlier on the satellite, down on the beach, and seeing as she couldn't see them any more she figured the best place to start looking was there. And at the edge of the forest there should be plenty of unassuming small game for Yaone to pick off on the way.
Before too long Ilia stopped as she encountered a shirt. She picked it up and looked at it with a tilt to her head.
"Uncle Jack's shirt. Oh my! I hope nothing has happened to him!" She gasped, looking around. Not far away was a pair of shorts, and then Raven's shirt. She wandered around gathering them up in a bundle in her arms until she came to one piece of clothing. Gingerly, with her fingertips, she picked up Jack's boxer shorts.

Yaone of course could smell a high amount of male pheromones on the air, plus a few other scents and letting the child robot witness the boys now would probably not be a good idea.
-Wait here... I will warn them we are looking for them.- she hissed to Ilia, -leave the clothesssss and wait for ussss by the water.- she instructed. Hopefully the bot would do as she requested, if so Yaone would go off in search of the boys and if not... well.. she might have to turn Ilia off. And then go after the boys.
