I met a new Feien last night. Rislin is her name. She's purple and a time Feien, like Aria's old friend Ares. Kinda neat. We had a good talk.
DragonCon was a blast...Rynn took a lot of pictures and I hope they come out really good. No real dragons however. Plush ones though. She got one too, called it a firelizard. Said it was outta Pern...whatever that is. Ok, I gtg, lunch!

Been raining all day here. Aria rather likes it, been out most of the day playing in the puddles, having a generally good time over all. Me...well, rain's ok, but it's not all that warm outside, so I hung out in the house. Chatted with Lilyana. She had finished Lord of the Rings, working on Eye of the Hunter. Rynn had started reading that too. So she's not to lose her place. Those books are freaking huge! I don't see how she can read all that.
Rynn herself is starting on writing her own story...I wonder if it'll be as long as Eye of the Hunter?

Ianios flew into the shop, not having been there in weeks. Didn't look like much had changed either it seemed. He took a seat on the windowsill, just planning on watching the traffic, if there was to be any Feien traffic at all.
Nero flitted quietly into the shop, hoping to find it empty. Given recent events, he really didn't feel like seeing anyone. But he had some items to order, to keep himself busy while he was staying at home, and so he had set out to get them.
The shop was empty, save for one familiar face: Ianios. Nero hadn't seen him in a while. Blinking, Nero nervously touched down near him and smiled faintly. "I see you got taller," he said, mustering as much cheer as possible.
Ianios looked up at the Feien, grinning and patted the seat beside him. "Yep, grew up right after we got back from a grand adventure." He made no move however to hug Nero. But he was happy to see him. He glupped, realizing now, since the shop was empty, it was the best time to talk to Nero. "I want...I'm sorry. I realize I must have made you uncomfortable back in the den..." His throat seemed to close up. He wasn't sure how Nero felt towards him.
Nero glanced away, not sitting, but rather shifting from foot to foot awkwardly. He'd been through worse lately, as the healing bruises on his cheek and body testified. Clearing his throat, he rubbed his arm and managed another weak smile. "That's all right. It's not big deal." he muttered, shaking his head.
Ianios looked over the smaller Feien, noticing the brusing. Someone had been hurting him. But was it his place to ask? Would Nero want to tell him? Only one way to find out. "Nero...someone been hurting you?" He was concerned, but didn't want to pry. "If you don't want to say, that's alright. You know my curious nature."
Nero winced visibly. He'd forgotten about those. They didn't hurt anymore, not unless someone touched them, and he simply thought they'd faded. Apparently not. Nero shook his head slightly and slid his fingers through his hair. It was probably best not to talk about such matters. He didn't feel like remembering.
"I tripped," he replied, slipping more warmth into his smile. "You know I'm always accidentally hurting myself."
Ianios nodded, taking him for his word. "Maybe you ought to pull that hair up more often," he replied, smiling warmly. "Well, I did want to talk to you anyway, and glad we're alone. " He took a deep breath before going on. "I still like you. And I think maybe you like me. I however realize now I rushed things with you way to fast. If you'd like to start over, I'm fine with it. If you want me to go, I will abide by your wishes." He hoped Nero wouldn't send him away. Maybe they could at least still be friends.
Nero cringed. Oh dear. He... he REALLY didn't want to deal with this right now. He just wanted to pick up his bolts of cloth and flee, because he was tired and stupid and -
"It's okay," Nero muttered, shaking his head. "As far as starting over - I just don't know, Ian. I've got a lot of things going on right now. I don't think I can really handle a relationship right now."
And it was the truth. He REALLY couldn't.
Ianios nodded, a bit crushed. Well, maybe they could still be friends? He looked at Nero, and tried to smile. But it was a kind of broken smile. "Alright. I do want you to know I'm still be your friend, if you want." He meant it. He never wanted to burden Nero, and maybe he'd feel better now. "You take your time. If it never happens beyond being friends, then it wasn't meant to be. But if you need me, I'll be there."
Nero cringed. Did Ianios have to look so hurt? He hadn't meant to! Oh, gods, all Nero ever did was hurt people. It made him so miserable.
"P-please don't look so upset," he begged, siting down next to Ian. Nero suddenly looked tired, his yellow eyes pleading. "Please? I can make it up to you, I'm sure."
The plant Feien looked over, not realizing he had looked so upset. Sure, he was a bit brokenhearted, who wouldn't be? He blinked, and took Nero's hand. "I'll be alright, trust me." He smiled, trying to force more warmth into the smile. He didn't want Nero worrying, as he seemed so tired and worn down himself. Last thing he needed was more worry. "Just say we can still be friends and that's how you can make it up to me. Friends, nothing more, nothing less. No more talk about blooms and all that. Just friends who might go on an adventure or come over to visit and chat. Anything like that."
Nero smiled with relief. That... actually sounded nice. The memory Feien nodded eagerly and suddenly threw his arms around Ianios in a desperate hug. No one had so much looked at Nero without scorn lately, and to finally have a friendly face aside from Gogol's was so much nicer than he expected.
"I'd really like that," he muttered into Ian's shoulder.
Ianios blinked and hugged Nero back, rubbing his back. He wasn't sure what exactly was going on and wasn't going to ask. Nero would tell if he wanted. "I'm here for you. I'd come and visit, but your father...doubt he's changed his mind. But if you need a safe place, just wanna get away, come on over to my house. Blue cottage not far from here. Or use the den. I don't mind." He smirked. "Still haven't fixed it up yet, however."
Nero nodded, drawing back, blush on his pale features. "Thank you," he muttered, twitching some hair over his shoulder and combing his delicate fingers through it. He offered Ian a small, sincere smile. "I'll certainly keep that in mind."
Ianios smiled, and beeped Nero's nose, grinning. "You're quite welcome. Open invitation. Any time, day or night." He was sure Rynn wouldn't mind. "We got an extra bed, so come to stay for a bit, got a place to sleep. I'll keep Aria from bugging you too much."
Nero nodded and stood up, brushing off his legs. "Thank you very much." he said, dipping a teeny bow. "I - I'll see if I can, all right? Thank you."
Smilling, and with a wave, Nero dropped away from the sill, completely forgetting to put an order out for the cloth.
Ianios smiled and waved back. "Take care!" he called back, happy once again. At least they were friends! Still, he hadn't told him of Celaien, but sonce he wasn't sure where that was going, it was ok. He leaned back, still wanting to see if any new traffic came by.

Sept. 13
Well, not much has been going on here lately. Been redoing the room a bit, Ian and Aria helping out. I have gained another phoenix egg tonight however, and will have to post it's picture. I still need to finish more of the front page, lol. Aria mentioned it the other day, how Pyrina and Erin and all the others seemed to be left out. I will post them soon, promise!

Sept 19
Well, I'm writing yet another story...I have tons I do...watching Aria and Ianios on occasion. I got new games the other day and they've earned a reward for helping me with the bedroom. So I popped in one and let them have at it. Aria is a lot better at Ian, cause he's always arguing with her to let the character explore. She's just trying to get through the game.
Aria really enjoyed Scooby Doo 2, and so did I. I told her this time not to scream in my ear. She was good about it too. Ianios watched with some interest. I showed him the first one too.
Lord, they're fighting again. Let me go see what's up.

Sept 26
Ianios and Aria have just arrived home. They had gone to the shop. Had to talk Aria into it. And Ianios just gave me a number. Seems they made a friend. That's good.
Oh dear...well, I'm sure Aria can somehow make it up to Celaien. I know she hadn't meant to hurt his feelings. We'll see what we can do.
Goodnight.

Aria flew to Celaien's house. She still felt bad about last night. She hadn't meant to upset him, and hoped the small gift she held would cheer him up a bit. She landed outside a window and knocked.
Celaien perked up from where he was lounging on Cele's computer. A knock? For him? He flew to the window, seeing Aria, and waved fiercely, smiling.
Aria waved back, and crawled under the window. She smiled, seeing how he was smiling, so maybe last night hadn't bothered him too much. "Hi. I brought you a gift to make up for last night." She handed him the tiger striped kitten plushie.
"Oh... you shouldn't have, I overreacted," he said, blushing a little in embarrassment as he took the plush. "This is very nice, though, thank you.."
Aria nodded. "Well, I felt bad, and you seemed too as well...." She sighed, trailing off. What else was there to say? "I just wanted to let you know how sorry I was. I hadn't meant it in the way I said it."
"Yeah, it's okay. Really, I'm fine," he reassured her, smiling wanly. He sat down and stared at the plush for a moment. "Aria... Do you think there's something wrong with me?"
She blinked, sitting down as well. "Wrong with you? Cause you haven't grown?" Was there? Was there some way to stop a feien's growth? "I hope not! I don't know why you haven't grown, cause you're older than Ian, but I don't think there is anything wrong with you. "
Celaien shifted uncomfortably. "I hope not as well, but... it's like you said... Everyone who bloomed around the same time I did has either grown up... or disappeared... Am I not growing because I'm gonna disappear too?" He looked at Aria with fearful, haunted eyes. "I don't want to disappear, Aria! I don't!"
Aria reached over and hugged Celaien tightly. "No no, you're not going to disappear!" She and Ian wouldn't let that happen! "You can't...Ianios and I would be heartbroken. We'll fight to keep you here." She nodded, vowing to do that. "And Cele isn't going to let you vanish either!"
Celaien squeezed back, grateful. "Thank you... I know Ian would be sad, and Cele, too... That's why I don't want to... I don't want people to be sad because of me..." He sighed, then smiled weakly. "Thanks for coming to cheer me up Aria. It really helped."
Aria smiled, grinning really. "Good. Ian doesn't even know I'm here. I snuck out as he was exploring a cabinet in the kitchen." She giggled. "And it's nearly lunchtime, so I gotta get back home."
"Mmkay. I'll see you later then... Thanks for opening the window, too... I can't do it on my own," he said, grinning a little and sticking a tongue out.
She grinned, giving the heat feien another hug. "Well, it wasn't that hard. Ianios would have thrown it open!" She giggled again, sticking out her tongue. "Take care and we'll come back and see you soon!"
"Aa, okay, I'll see you later!" he called back, waving.
Aria waved back and climbed out the window. "Bye!"

Aria got home just a few minutes ago. She was smiling, so I assume she got Celaien's forgiveness. Ianios still hasn't come out from inside the cabinet. Might go check on him.

Rynn bought me a genstone. She's had it for a while, but Ian was exploring and came across it this afternoon while Rynn napped. She had it hidden in her jewelry box. How do I know it's mine? Well, Ian said he didn't want it. Besides, he has Celaien anyway. Me...I got no one. I heard once one merges with a gemstone, they can't breed...and though I wanna breed, I don't know anyone to breed with.
I wonder if this gemstone was once male or female. What their name was. Was she nice? Or was she mean? What element? It might be nice to be another water feien. Well, I'd still be me, but with their magic too.
Lords, I miss Nigel...And Fionn even...Maybe I ought to go to the shop more now, see if there is anyone else I can meet...

Sept 30
Ok, I picked up some plants for Ianios. There's a few rosebushes, lilies, daffodils, irises, foxgloves, zinnias, tulips, hyacinth, and daylilies. He nearly freaked at the selections. He was flying to the all, sniffing, wanting to go out and dig spots for them all now. Still a bit hot out, so I told him we'll wait until six. It'll be cooler then. He can't wait. Aria is wanting to help as well. It'll be great, give them both something to do. Aria can water them after Ian and I help plant them.

We planted the flowers yesterday. What ensued during that...I'll call a mudbattle. Aria was watering the newly planted plants as Ianios helped dig out a hole. Well, Aria accidently got Ian soaked and he threw mud at her. She landed, and threw mud back at him. There was a mud battle between the two laughing Feien, which I let go on for a few minutes. Lilyana was outside with us as well, but she was staying on the porch, but I could even see a grin on her face. It was kinda cool actually. Well, later, after all the planting and watering was done, I brought them all inside, and gave the Feien a bath in the kitchen sink, since it's split. Went to get the shampoo....came back to a water battle.
THEY HAD WATER EVERYWHERE! And I mean everywhere. Floor, counter, dripping from the cabinets...lord...They even got me at one point, before I put an end to it. Glad to see them having so much fun, but they had to clean up the kitchen too. They were ok with it though.

Oct 3 Maquinar :There was a rustling noise just outside, followed by deep laughter. Suddenly, Maq sailed his way into the shop, low to the ground, racing a Pixatiger to the counter. Just before they reached the counter, the tiger came up short, sliding to a stop, while Maq merely changed directions, flying up along side the wooden wall. Reaching the top, he did a bit of a backflip, then landed, still laughing.: Beat you, you pansy! Ianios Aria and Ianios flew into the shop, sort of racing each other. Ianios reached the door first and flew in moments before Aria had. "I win!" he cried, laughing. Aria Aria glared at him, then spied movement behind Ianios, on the counter. The Feien looked familar, then it hit her. "Maq!" she cried, diving towards the heat Feien. She landed before tackling him, wrapping her arms around him. Ianios Ianios landed nearby, looking the new Feien over. He sensed this one was older than he. He would wait for his sister to introduce him to the newcomer. Maquinar :At first the sound of voices had caught his attention, and as he had turned, noticing the blue of the female Feien, Maq's brow had tightened ever so slightly, his jaw tensing as well. When he realized who it was, moments before she crossed the threshold of the counter and came barrelling in his direction, Maq's cloudy expression cleared, and he bestowed upon her one of his broad, beaming grins. Wrapping his arms around her in return when she embraced him, he hugged her tightly, then used her forward momentum to swing her around in a wide circle, rather than toppling over backwards.: Blue Eyes!Aria Aria grinned brightly, laughing as he swung her around. "Maq, I've missed you!" Her arms didn't leave him, and she clung tight to him. "I was afraid you had vanished!" She looked him over. He hadn't changed at all, she noticed. At least outwardly. "How you've been?" Ianios Ianios coughed slightly, glad to see Aria so happy, yet wanting to meet this Feien as well. Aria Aria looked back and grinned. "Ianios, Maq. Maq, Ianios."Ianios "Greetings." Ianios nodded to Maq, smiling. Maquinar :There was *one* minor difference in this Maq, however. Across the broad expanse of his chest was a scar, diagonally stretched over the muscles. His grin, however, that hadn't changed, nor the easy way he released one arm from around Aria in order to salute slightly towards Ianios.: Nice to meet you. :He glanced back down at Aria, drawling in that deepened voice of his,: You should have known I'd never up and leave for good without saying good-bye first...Aria Aria nodded, still looking up at him, so seeing the scar hadn't crossed her mind. "I know...But with Nigel vanishing, Fionn..." She glanced down to her feet. "I had thought you had too. And I didn't want you to vanish. I rather..." She trailed off, trying to get up her courage. "I like having you around." Ianios Ianios watched them, then flew off to explore a part of the shop, so they could speak in peace. No point in spying on them. Maquinar I don't mind being around. :He winked at her, then brought his hand up to ruffle her hair gently.: So, eh... Nigel disappeared, did he? Aria Aria nodded, a bit sad still at Nigel's disappearance. "Yeah, even went to his house but no one is there...It's liked they moved or something. No goodbye or anything." Ok, now wasn't the time to get choked up about it. Maq was here! She looked up at him, grinning. "So where have you been? Seems like ages since you've been around!" Maquinar That's what I've heard, that it's been ages... :He shifted his remaining arm so that it draped around her waist.: Tera had a few things to take care of, so Q and I went with her. :He shrugged a bit, as if indicating that it wasn't important.: We're staying with Aileron and his Bond now. Aria "Oh...with the puppies and kitties!" Aria seemed to bounce at that. She thought living among all the pets would be fun, though she and Ianios had a bunch themselves. She noticed the arm about her waist and blushed, smiling slightly. She draped her arm around his waist. "Was it a fun adventure? We went with Rynn on one, rescuing her mate. It was kinda fun." Maquinar It wasn't fun per sea, but it had it's moments. :His free hand moved to rub idly at the scar at his chest for a moment, before dropping back to where he used to wear his rapier.: And between Ter's bunch and Trio's, we've definitely got a hell of a lot of animals out there. Aria Aria looked to Maq's chest, noticing the scar. Even up at her close range, she hadn't noticed it before. "Dragon's fire! What happened?" She became concerned, rubbing over it gently with her hand. He'd been hurt badly! Oh this wasn't good...not at all! "Oh Maq...who hurt you?"Maquinar :A dark expression entered his eyes then, and he growled.: That little b*****d, Kef. The Sigil that Ter has. :He shook his head, banishing the anger before it really had a chance to manifest.: Doesn't matter, though. Ter's pissed as hell at him now, so it's working out.Aria Aria sighed, nodding. " Good...I can't stand the thought of you're being hurt." She patted the scar, wishing she could erase it. It didn't suit him. And it probably hurt him at times too. She gave him a grin though, looking back up at him. No point in being upset about it. She heard wings buzzing, knowing Ianios was off exploring. "I wish I could have helped you, Maq. But I'm glad to know he's being taken care of." Maquinar :Maq nodded at that.: He's being taken care of, and things are definitely looking up. :He grinned down at her warmly.: Getting to see one of my favorite girls helps things.Aria Aria blushed deeply. She was one of his favorite girls? She giggled, grinning at him. She was at a loss for words. "Thank you," she managed to say, still blushing. "Glad I'm of help." She giggled, giving him another hug. Maquinar :He squeezed her back, then glanced around curiously.: Say, where'd your new boyfriend go?Aria Aria laughed out loud. "He's not my boyfriend! That's my brother! Remember the leaf?" She was sure he met Ian as a bloom. So many had, so she couldn't recall exactly, but she was sure he had. Maq was silly, thinking Ian was her boyfriend. That'd be news to him! Maquinar :Maq, never one to regret his mistakes, laughed at this one.: Well, I figured any guy out with you would be your boyfriend. Your brother, then. :He glanced around again.: I didn't scare him off, did I?Aria Aria laughed, shaking her head. "No no, you didn't scare him off. He's off exploring. He does that just about everywhere we go. He has to see new things." She was still blushing a bit. "Now you're with me, he's off, are you my boyfriend now?" Granted she was joking, but of he ever asked, she would not be against the idea. Maquinar Are you saying you don't have a boyfriend right now? :His eyebrow raised above one of those bright orange eyes.: I can't believe that... Aria Aria smirked. "Nope, not a guy in sight." Sure, it hurt a little after Nigel, but that was slowly going away. Maybe he had a good reason he disappeared, but who knew? And Maq qas practially telling her she was pretty. It made her blush and she hadn't blushed like that in a long time. "What about you? Any girlfriends?"Maquinar Not one specifically. There are far too many lovely ladies in my life, I guess. :He shook his head, mock-mournfully.: I can't imagine what the guys around here are thinking, if one of them haven't snatched you up yet. Aria She giggled. He was too cute. "I don't get out much, anymore. Ianios' has gotten more social than I have been lately." She blushed, thinking on his words. Maybe she would get out more. But she really hadn't found any others she wanted as a mate, if that were to ever happen again. "Well," she began, sealing a glance at him. "If you ever wanted too..." Maquinar "Too..."? :He reached his hand up to tip a finger under her chin.: Come on now, you should know better than to leave a guy hanging like that. Aria She looked at him, her blue eyes looking into his orange ones. "Well," she begain. "If you wanted to ask me, I'd agree," she said in a rush, blushing. Would the color ever leave her cheeks? She didn't think so, but heck, no one had made her blush like that in a long time anyway. But he did say he had a lot of women, so it probably would never happen. Didn't hurt to try, did it? Maquinar Ask you what, exactly? To dance? To chat? :He dropped his voice to a low, lazy drawl.: If you leave it up to me, I might ask you to do something your brother'd need to disappear for... Aria Aria blushed deeply. Oh yes, she'd leave it up to him. "Ianios wouldn't bother us...he has his own boyfriend." She giggled softly. "We have an understanding...I leave him alone when he wants, he'll leave me alone." She smiled, more like a smirk. "I wouldn't mind, anyway, if he did leave," she said softly, in case he was nearby. She was curious to what he had in mind. "So what do you have in mind?"Maquinar Well... :His hand reached up again, this time to tuck a lock of her hair behind her ear, tarrying and tracing back behind the sensitive flesh there.: If I weren't expected back at Trio's soon, I'd say you and I could go find someplace to... talk. :Somehow, the warmth in his eyes suggested something far different than talking.: Aria She shivered slightly, the flesh behind her ear a good spot. It turned her on and she knew he knew that, as it seemed all Feien had the same spots. Well, at least talking with Ian they did. "I'd like that. And I wish you could stay...it'd be nice to...talk." She smirked, knowing what he meant. Her blue eyes shined brightly. Maquinar :He definitely liked the way she shivered at his touch; no cold fish there. Drawing his hand away, almost reluctantly, he sighed.: Maybe another time. I'm just hoping that the other Feien don't wise up and get to you first.Aria Aria pouted, not wanting his hand to be taken away. Ok, she'd not merge with that gemstone for a long time now! "I doubt I'll find me another Feien before we meet again, Maq," her voice low and husky, giving him a bit of a smirk. "And if I did, they'd not compare to you." And she meant it. She had liked him for a long while, but they hadn't seen each other in a while, so he was more like a friend. But now...now was different. She was sure they'd see each other soon. Maquinar :He didn't argue that point, just drew his arm from around her waist languidly, continuing to smile down on her. Once done with that, he stretched, the muscles rippling beneath his skin.: Until later, then?Aria Aria nodded, snuggling into his arm before he stretched. What a body too... She nodded. "Until then, Maq." She smiled at him. not really wnating to wait. Ian was nowhere around, it seemed, and so she flew up to his height, planting a quick kiss on Maq's lips. Warm lips too, she noticed. "Until then..."Teralinth dKalin :At that, Maq nodded, then unfurled his wings. While they did little to help him actually fly, they looked damned impressive. Lifting off from the counter, he headed for the door, corkscrewing once and waving back at Aria as he went.: Aria Aria watched him go, waving when he did. Once he was out of sight, she sighed deeply. Her heart was pounding. She hadn't expected the night to end like this, but she was damn glad it did! She heard the buzzing of wings behind her, then footfalls. Ianios Ianios walked beside his sister, smirking. "I see you found another..."Aria Aria nodded. She couldn't say anything, not yet. She wanted to keep it to herself. "Lets go home."Ianios Ianios nodded. He hadn't found much in the shop, but to give Maq and Aria some time alone, what he found, he studied like it was the most imporetant thing ever. "Sure."Aria took off first, Ianios right behind.

I am still blushing...I can't believe I saw Maq and what all he said. Ianios and Rynn noticed it too, my blushing I mean. But he's so handsome...and he calls me Blue Eyes. And he told me he'd never vanish without saying goodbye. Which I hope he never leaves anyway. I like him too much.
What is it with us and heat Feien? Maq's element is heat, as well as Celaien's. And both are red in color...Still, though I adore Cel, I like Maq better...just something about him...
I hope I can see him soon. I wanna know what he has planned Ian couldn't be around for...hehe.
