Aiya started to take deep breaths. SHe needed to stay calm. She wished she could close her eyes but she couldn't on the mountain trail. She only wanted them to shut up.
"Hey Clare I was only wondering do you like to share the toys of yours are do they only play nice with you? Not that I would want them or anything." Hellen was walking backwards and trying to control her laughter.
Flora was on edge with this question. It could be ignored but the problem was if Clare or her humans would. She slowed her steps. She wasn't going to let them fight each other over something so small.

Ha, like you can calm that little girl down, she's too wound up. You should really discipline your toys a bit more." Deneve taunted. walking backwards like Hellen, watching the faces of the three behind her.

Aiya was trying to block out their voices. It wasn't working completely working. Then she heard Raki. She looked at him oddly. "You were there. By the fountain in town."

Aiya sighed. The Clamores almost forgotten. "My father made the blade. He taught me." She gripped the hilt gently this time. She missed her father and brother.

Happy to have them distracted, Clare ignored the taunts as best she could, keeping the two behind her out of it. Joining the conversation to distract herself, Clare wondered out loud, "Do you miss your family?"

Aiya smiled a little, "Sure. That would probably be a good thing. You traveling with a Clare and all." She was calming down. She was surprised by it.
"Better watch out Clare I think your toys are planing to runaway together." Hellen laughed a bit more and turned around.
