Wide screen. Like bunny just said ^ my TV is widescreen so it looks strecthed if a film is shown in full screen. The black margins on the edge when a film is shown in widescreen help make it more dramatic I think.

Widescreen because sometimes they cut stuff off when they change movies into fullscreen

Ever since I learned how the film is converted to full screen, I have preferred wide, I cannot condone cutting the sides of a frame away just to make it fit a box shape. Especially after I completed my 1st film (it was a lot of work) Better to have the box work with the film I say, besides, most new tv's allow you to change the aspect ratio so the black bars don't show.

I used to hate widescreen, but when I picked up the Spaceballs dvd, it explained to me why widescreen was better. With full screen, you lose at least a quarter of the shot, since they chop it down to fit a television...with widescreen, you are seeing the movie for how it's supposed to be seen. ^^;; Also, it generally provides for a much easier subtitle experience, should they be necessary. xD!!

I like both...wide screen gives you a more cinematic view more classical I find! While full screen, like others have said more home viewing^^ 3nodding
