"I'm tempted to find out why that says "there's no taste like gnome"...and yet. Eh, well, left it is for now." Vincent pauses for a moment, "Master Fury, I have something you might be interested in..." Vincent fumbles with his potion belt for a moment before producing a vial of some kind of clear, amber liquid. "I believe that this is what you need."

"Vincent, shouldn't we try to go right since that was the door that was barred? It might be containing something Rudolph doesn't want us to see or a place Rudolph doesn't want us to go." Perrian stated.

((Welcome back Vincent! ^_^))

"Yes, but on that note we've already killed his minions and his cooks. I think the time for hospitalities as guests was over with as soon as the fight broke out. However, if you want to go the other way, this is your quest, I will not object."

"True, good point. Maybe we should have a vote, since we have five members with us. I do not have a preference on which side we go, but I am only merely stating what I think might be behind the right door. Whoever votes to go right raise the right hand, whoever wants to go left raise the left hand. I won't raise my hand till everyone else has. I have my opinions, but I won't show it unless I am needed to break up a tie." Perrian stated.

Vincent thinks for a moment before finally raising his left hand.

*Djanni raises her right hand*

"I have to make just one point; I highly suspect that, given the culinary predispositions of our former hosts, that what is being contained behind the barred door is not so much a "what" as a "who", and would prefer that any rescue attempts we are to make be made prior to engaging Rudolph in combat."

((Welcome back, Vincent! We have missed you.))

Pulling a double take, Gerbo looks back and forth at both the doors.

"I can't believe i'm actually doing this..."

He said as he raised his right hand.

(Just a bit of clarification, as my door description may have been misinterpreted. The door to the left is the barred door; the bars are on your side, suggesting that something within is being contained or prevented. The door on the right has a cozy little hand-painted sign stating "There's no taste like Gnome", in a flowing, colorful script. The central door is large, metal and extremely functional, with no appearance of being locked or barred in any fashion.)

Fury stares in disbelief, at the item being displayed for his appraisal. "Is that... yes I believe it is... the Elixir! But little good it does me, as you are afflicted with a curse of your own that you must deal with. As much as I need it for myself, it would be a fell blow to our friendship if I left you without the means to remove your own burden as you see fit." Fury drops his gaze, avoiding any unwelcome affects from the curse's unwanted attention. "While, the curse I bear is deadly, yours is no less so. And though I am eager to be rid of my burden, I will bear it as best I can until I can find a cure of my own. Hopefully, I will find it before this curse gains a permanent hold upon my soul..." Fury once again goes silent, pondering his unwelcome fate.

Looking up at the raised hands and curious gazes, Fury coughs quietly to cover his embarassment. "Umm, which hand was it for the barred door?", he says, slightly raising his left hand, unsure if he is doing it right.

"The barred door was the right door." Perrian said as he rose his right hand. "Seems like we are going right. I'm sorry Vincent that we aren't going left like you wanted to, my friend." Perrian walked over to the barred door and unbarred it. He opened the door.

Vincent nods in appreciation of Fury's statement. "Perhaps..." he begins, "when this is over, if I have not used the item, then I will allow you to take it. Honestly though, if the curse becomes too much then say the word and this is yours." Vincent then turns to Perrian and smiles. "I had assumed that this would happen...Ah well. Then let us go." Vincent walks over to the right door and places his hand on Perrian's shoulder, "Age before innocence..." Vincent quietly says to him. Moving around the healer, Vincent walks in.

As the now unbarred door first cracks open, a frosty waft of air burst out upon the group, bringing a chilling greeting all it's own. As the chill mist clears, the interior reveals itself to be a meat locker of some sort; various bodies hang in neat order, with varying degrees of completeness. Upon closer inspection, you discover the frozen remains of various intelligent beings, including Human, Elf, Dwarf, Gnome and Fairy. Towards the rear of the larder the fresher corpses hang; although there seems to be some life yet remaining in a single, hanging form. The body is clothed in some sort of sacking material, while the head is bagged in heavy cloth. blood drips slowly beneath the spectacle, as the head slowly bobs in an irregular rhythm. A slight moan can be felt more than heard, as the creature seems to lack the strength to accomplish any true physical effort.

Perrian shivers with the breeze but then, as the coldness goes away, he looks at the horror. "Wha-What is this!?!" Perrian says shocked in the sight of the horror they have come upon. Though he was still curious about what Vincent meant by his comment 'age before innocence...' but he was more shocked by the sight of this horror to ask Vincent what he meant.

*Djanni pushes past the others, heading for the moving body and reaching up with a dagger to cut the figure down. She turns to Vincent, motioning for him to catch the body as she cuts it free.*

"Help me with this one! They do not have long - they are very fortunate for these freezing temperatures, or they would have bled to death long ago. Then we must check the others one last time for any and all possible signs of life; we will leave no one in this place."

Vincent, used to the sight and smell of death, is still horrified by the frightning spectacle of the meatlocker. Seeing Djanni dealing with the one remaining living creature, Vincent runs over to help catch the body as it falls into his outstretched arms.
