Brainwashed subbers? I believe its the supposed "shippers" who are brainwashed. The "subtext" is like BAM in your FACE! You have to look to find the "shipper" stuff. So perhaps subtext is actually Ares and Xena and our maintext is Gabrielle and Xena. Perhaps?

Yes, I have to admit that physically, shipper stuff gets shoved down your throat. But as far as Xena being in an emotionally healthy (at least healthi er) relationship, subberism is for the win.
