Mar smiled in a good-natured way. "Come now, I already have baby at home, I do not need one at school as well." She reached over and pushed on Sirius's lip to get it back in with another giggle.

Sirius rolled his eyes and puffed out his cheeks. "I resent that. I'm not a baby; I'm just sensitive..." he said without blinking.
Sirius propped his feet up on Remus's lap, knowing full well that Remus wouldn't stir due to his train syndrome. "Good thing my shoes aren't dirty---this is quite comfortable," he muttered.

Mar laughed and shook her head. "You are 'opeless," she said. She thought about taking Sirius's feet off of Remus's lap, but then decided against it. He would just put them back anyway.

"Am not!" He retorted lazily, stretching out further. "Besides, Moony doesn't mind," he pointed out, gesturing at the sleeping boy. Sirius didn't think he would mind even if he was awake...

Mar stopped laughing finally, but was still smiling coyly. "Fine, we see how you like it, yeah?" She raised her feet and dropped them onto Sirius's lap with a suddenly smug expression. She crossed her arms an wrinkled her nose at him.

Sirius's eyes widened at the sudden pressure on his nether regions. "Whoa, there! Watch where you kick, eh?"
He laughed good naturedly, and shifted her feet with his hands ever so slightly, trying to get in a more comfortable position - without harming his family jewels. He achieved this after a moment and looked up at Marketa, blushing furiously. "Hem," he said, clearing his throat uncomfortably. His collar felt very tight.

Mar tried very hard to keep her smug composure, but she couldn't help starting to laugh after only a few moments. "You get it now, yeah?" she laughed, pulling her feet off of Sirius's lap. She continued to laugh for several minutes more, though it was more quiet and private to accompany the blush on her face. He looked so cute with his face red like that. She never even knew Sirius Black had the ability to blush from embarrassment until today.

"Well, I don't think he's uncomfortable. Not much could wake him on this iron-pot," Sirius retorted, very aware of the tinge that continued to rise in his cheeks. "In fact, I don't think he's ever seen the countryside on the way to Hogwarts."
Sirius looked out the window, finally pulling his legs from his friend's lap. Although the view was still only King's Cross, he felt an enormous relief being on the train. This summer was a little difficult to live through, but he was finally on the way home - or at least on the way to being on the way home.
"Are you excited about coming back?"

Marketa's gaze had followed Sirius's when he looked out the window. She could see the evergreens and cresting hills off in the distance, almost like a distant dream. She could already see the lake in her mind's eye. The turrets of the castle rose to the forefront of her imagination, and her eyes fell shut in longing.
Then, Yvonne's face appeared as well, and her stomach twisted painfully with guilt. All her parents ever had time for was working in order to keep the aparmtent and her tuition to Hogwarts. Was Yvonne going to be neglected? She was suddenly conflicted about going back. In one hand, it felt wonderful to be going back. In the other, she felt guilty about getting a proper education when her place was obviously at home.
"I...I..." She sighed and rubbed her forehead. "...I suppose so..."

Sirius's eyes snapped from the window to Marketa. "What's with the long face... and the hesitation?" Sirius questioned. He did not mean to pry, but he was thoroughly concerned for the girl. "Are you okay?"

Marketa sighed quietly and leaned her forehead against the window, shaking her head slightly. "I feel guilty, leaving Yvonne at home. I suppose I just have to get used to it, but..." her voice lowered to a glum murmur. "Next time I see Yvonne, she will be four monts old, and I have missed everyting." She felt warm and took off her father's jacket, now wearing a brown tank top and her mother's floral patterned skirt. She leaned her elbows on her knees and intwined her fingers. "She hasn't even smiled yet, and her mudder is abandoning her." She seperated her hands and dropped her head into them wearily.

"You're not abandoning her," Sirius assured her quickly. "You're just doing what you must do. In order to enjoy the rest of her growing up, you must finish school. There will be plenty of firsts - even the more important ones than her first smile or burp. She won't remember this part in her life anyway... you'll be with her as soon as you finish school." Sirius spoke very fast. He knew what he wanted to say, but they came out in short, almost unintelligable sentences. He was trying to ammend saying the wrong thing.

"My, My" said a voice from outside the compartment, interrupting whatever conversation the two inside were having. "If it isn't that handsom devil Sirius Black" James walked into the compartment and smiled at his best mate. He looked around and saw Marketa. "Oh! and a pretty lady too!" He gave his best, fake dazziling smile to her and turned back to Sirius. "I do hope you haven't been cheating on me Sirus." he said waving an accusing finger at him.

Sirius's eyes went wide and he spun around. "Prongs, mate! I was wondering when you were going to get here!" He clapped his friend on the back before continuing. "You sly devil; of course I'd never cheat on you."
Sirius gave a wink to Marketa.
