Chisei was up in her room when she heard the strange sound.Whats going on?she thought , to afraid to move.

Riot quietly crept out of her room, shuting the door in complete silence. Now then, where was the beasty? Riot closed her eyes listening, gun held loosly in her hand. Click.....click....click There was a loud groan, like something heavy on wood. s**t! It's going upstairs! Riot cursed mentally as she raced for the stairs.

Chisei stepped out of her room, into the darkness of the hallway. She heard a strange sound at the other end near the stairs."hello..is that you..Riot?" she said slowly taking a step forward.

When Riot rounded the corner she cursed at the sight of a long pebbly tail. Scales that shone in the dull moon light sent shimers of purple and blue down it. A pretty sight if it hadn't meant that there was an eight legged lizard climbing up the stair. A lizard that was 18 feet in lengh equiped with razor sharp claws, poisin fangs and a gaze that could to you to stone. I hate basalisks. Riot cursed pulling a pair of goggles out of her pocket and pulling them over her eyes. This is going to be interesting

Chisei stared at the creature wide eyed..." what WHAT IS THAT?" she said backing up then running into the wall, causing a lamp to fall over .

"Get your a** down and keep your eyes shut!" Riot yelled firing off a few rounds into the monsters back. There was the sound of bullets bonucing off the thick hide, and a pair of glowing yellow eyes turned looming 10 feet into the air. As they locked onto the goggle Riot she cursed, profusely before turning and bolting into the hall, the basalisk on her tail.

Chisei didnt know what she did next, it was almost a subconscience move on her part. She took off down after the basilisk, stupidly grabing its tail and screaming"Stop, dont touch her!!" the ground slightly shook when she screamed.

Chisei screamed,and a gust of wind tore through the house, whiping everything around.

Riot threw her hands infront of her face protecting it as best as she could from the onsult of wind. Bits of blood and flesh splating around her. Holy

Chisei opened her eyes, they had changed color and were now a stunningly bright green. Everything about her changed  she placed her hands together which looked almost like praying and said some kind of incantation, suddenly, a large spike of stone protruded from the floor and went right through the basilisks stomack. Then after a short moment she went back to normal and collapsed on the ground.

Riot stood there a moment in shock, looking at the now dead basalisk and then at the unconcious Chisei. After a moment or two she slid her goggles down and walked over to her. Bending, she scouped the girl up. Now I have my answer. I knew the name was the same the face just didn't match. She's that Chisei. Now I definetly can't let her out of my sights. Damn it.

an hour had passed, and Chisei finally woke up" wha..what happened?" she said holding her head.

Valkyrie climbed down the edge of the house. She had been sleeping peacfully and had been woken up by a screem. She climbed through the first floor window and saw the room in a compleate disaster, riot, and a confused chisei. "Um... Do i want to know?"

Riot looked over at Valkyrie. "No you probably don't, but I'll tell you anyway. We had a basalisk sneak into the house." She answered from her seat near Chisei, fingers steapled near her mouth in thought.
