"Silver?" Jet said back, not processing the word. How could silver do this to him? He was a gemologist. This kind of thing was the thing he loved.

Jet got to his knees. His mind fought against itself. Jet, listen! You can be a gemologist without silver! It's okay! Let it go! One part of his mind shouted at the other. No its not okay! This is the thing you love! It can't hurt you! The other part screamed. All of his conscious mind was focused on that one thing. His face was blank. His eyes stared into nowhere. Someone came up behind him, but he didn't notice. He was kicked over. His eyes closed. The silver drained more energy.

"JET!" Lilith wimpered as the man kicked him. "Shut up!" Shouted a man kicking her aswell she moved to quickly and the silver kniched her shoulder. Lilih let out a yelp of pain as the silver singed her shoulder.

Jets eyes opened when he heard his name. He spotted a stone on the ground. It looked like... topaz. He had an idea. If he could just get a hold of it. Silently, Jet slipped it into his hand. Topaz was an eight on the hardness scale, silver was anywhere from two to three. Jet made a tiny scratch in the chain that binded his hands. The energy that it had taken from him began to flow out of it and back into him. He cut more and more, silently.

Coner felt the energy drained out of him..He looked at the room wearily,spotting his Katana not to far away,He didn't have the strength to move,He growled at the Man threateningly,But the man just made a sort of grunting noise and kick him in the gut

As this was going on, Jet managed to break through the first half of the chain link. He started in on the second half.
