The Second Hokage nodded to show he understood. "Alright. Now, as I was saying, Bringer of Darkness is a Genjutsu that traps a single oppenent in an illusion of absolute blackness, blinding them. The target will believe that they are lost in the total dark and be unable to see their surroundings. Now, it is important to remember that the enemy can still hear you or otherwise sense your movements. As the normal human being depends largely on their sense of sight for every day actions as well as fighting, however, this is still gives you a huge advantage over the majority of people. Like many illusions, the technique's effects do not last indefinately, so be sure to take advantage of it while it lasts." (Bringer of Darkness posts 3/9)

"To begin with, I'm going to use the technique on you for a bit, so that you can get a feel for it." The Second said as he began to do the necessary hand seals. "Try not to move around too much, or you may wind up hurting yourself." "Okay..." Gatz said hesitantly. Then everything went dark for him. Gatz looked around, not seeing much of anything. "... Hello?" he ventured. There was no answer to his call. He shuffled forward a bit, trying to feel his way around in the darkness that surrounded him. (Bringer of Darkness posts 4/9)

Gatz TdaMax Dark Bunny Lord ((Well going to need something to compete against giant toads next time lol, so I figure I should get King Enma Summon... ugghh... so many posts though. However other than knowing that King Enma is a summon of a monkey god I don't know much more about him... what size is he?)) ((Dang, there goes my plan to learn the summon. sweatdrop I guess Suichi got you too, huh? lol
Enma's human sized, but he's supposed to know quite a few ninjutsus himself. He also turns into a near-industructible staff that can change size, and that he can stick an arm out of at will.))((Thanks for the info, all I found out is that he's extremly powerfull since I've asked lol. Anywho yeah he may have gotten me but at least my last technique I used actually screwed him up, lol. Its one that reflects a precentage of an attack you allow to hit you back at its own user, you still take all of the damage but then they take about 3/4s of that damage as well lol. Anywho considering he preformed Rasengan on me will diving down at a high speed... yeah lets just say he walked away with broken ribs and hopefully a suprised look on his face lol. The techs not that good against weak or mediocre attacks but agains the uber ones like that its wondefull.)) Jin again began motioning his hands quickly, preforming each of the symbols with suprising accuracy considering the lack of visual memorizing he had been able to do on them before the training. He was coming up to the last few symbols once more, the only ones in his mind that where still a bit fuzzy and unclear. He got all the way to the last symbol then suddenly stopped, only to hear the same comment and tap on a rock from the fourth of WRONG! He winced not remebering the last one... Then the illusion was lifted, and Gatz blinked at the sudden brightness of the world. "That was... unsettling," the student told his teacher. "It's meant to be. Now, here are the handseals for the technique..." The Second Hokage drilled his pupil in the correct hand motions for about an hour, making certain that he had every one of them down correctly. Gatz made sure to try and copy his teacher accurately, correcting motions when he needed to, refining his moves. (Bringer of Darkness posts 5/9)

"I think I've got it now," he said at last. "Well, let's see about that. Try the technique out on me," the Second Hokage prompted. Gatz raised an eyebrow in surprise, and in answer the former Hokage gestured around them and shrugged. "I don't exactly see a vast number volunteers we might try it out on; wouldn't you agree?" "Umm, yeah, I can see your point," Gatz said feeling slightly stupid for not spotting the obvious. He began to do the quick yet complicated series of hand seals the technique required in the direction of his instructor. "Right then... Bringer of Darkness!" (Bringer of Darkness posts 6/9)

((Lemme guess Gatz, you type out this stuff before hand don't you lol, either that or your just more awake than I am and posting very quickly.))
Jin was hit with a suprising clarity, suddenly his memory kicked back in as if he had recieved sudden insight from outer source. The images within his mind of the fourths hand symbols quickly became clear as he clearly remebered them. He began once more, his hands moving like skin toned blurs in front of his chest. He came to where he had stummbled before and easily made the required signs. He finished and looked up at the fourth "I did it!"
The fourth looked back at him and shook his head sadly then tapped the stone once more "Wrong again young one, you where far to slow... speed up your hand signs... do you think the opponent will just stand there while you summon enma."
Jin let his head down realizing the fourth was right "Yes sensei... I will try again."

((Np. Though I did kind of want a summon myself... I read that Enma really only listens to people [who've summoned him] that he respects, so appearently he has some free will as well. If you run out of ideas for posting, maybe you could summon him then do something to earn his respect? Just a thought.))
The former Hokage looked around himself, seeing something Gatz didn't. "It's more hazy than it is dark..." he told the Genin pointedly, sounding a bit disappointed. Gatz winced at the man's tone. "Well, I told you this wasn't my strong suit. Let me try again---" He went through the necessary gestures again. "---Bringer of Darkness!" "... It's more like 'Bringer of Manuve' on my end..." the Second Hokage said, sweat drops breaking out on his head. (Bringer of Darkness posts 7/9)

Jin continued his hand motioning training for hours... yet everytime he finished the fourth responeded with the same harsh tap of the rock and the word wrong. It seemed to be hours and hours, each time Jin getting quicker and quicker yet to seemingly no avail... long later... when Jins spirit had finally been broken the fourth tapped the rock one last time... yet his words where different from the letdowns of before "Good..." he said with a wide smile spread accross his face... "you are finally ready for the next step Jin, most impressive."

Dark Bunny Lord ((Lemme guess Gatz, you type out this stuff before hand don't you lol, either that or your just more awake than I am and posting very quickly.)) ((Hey, I've got dial-up at home. I can't be on all the time! xd Besides, I'm pretty sure that i'm not the only one to have figured out that trick by now. wink ))Gatz tried again. This time the older ninja reported green with purple polka-dots. A forth try yielded an illusion that was gaudgy sort of a pliad pattren, after which the man instructed his student to pause so that he could concentrate on not throwing up. "Ugh. Now, what exactly is going through your head when you start to cast illusion?" the former Hokage asked after he shook off the effects of the last illusion. "Hmm, you know, I'm not really thinking about much of anything..." Gatz admited. (Bringer of Darkness posts 8/9)

"I can see that," the Hokage commented drily. "Now, this time when casting the illusion, I want you to try and picture the same, infinite blackness as you saw before. Your stay of mind helps form some of the basis for the illusion." "Really..? Alright then..." Gatz said. He made the hand seals again and brought to mind the inky darkness he had seen before. After a moment, the Second Hokage nodded in approval; the illusion had worked. Gatz sighed and dropped the illusion, congratulating himself on a job well done. ((Hey, I've got dial-up at home. I can't be on all the time! xd Besides, I'm pretty sure that i'm not the only one to have figured out that trick by now. wink ))((Lol true, I should do that for I only have dial up as well. Oh and we need to get our team together, we could kick some serious a** later. Anywho this is my last post for tonight. Oh and good idea, I'll pose a fight between Enma and I to earn his respect, that should take up some space for me XD)) Jin was extremly happy, he had finally finished the tedious symbol training... now for Enma himself he thought. The fourth got up off his rock "Now you are ready Jin, remeber don't hold back your chakra, once you've successfully summoned Enma you'll know how much you need to control him, however as for now pour all you have into him... then you must earn his respect so that you may call upon him in the future. Jin nodded and took up his position once more... it was finally time. ((Post 19/30: Learning King Enma Summon Technique))

Gatz traveled along through the world of the afterlife until he happened upon a long-hair man with pale skin and strange, snake-like eyes. He had a calm and deadly air about him, like a coiled cobra basking in the sun. ... I look at this guy, and all I can think is 'snake'... Gatz thought to himself, peering at the man from behind a tree. He's seriously creepy. Maybe I should just leave... He was about to do just that when the strange figure smiled to himself and called Gatz over. "You can come out now. I know you're there, anyways." (Great Breakthrough posts 1/9)

Gatz gulped and stepped out into the open, stiffling some nervous laughter and stratching the back of his head as he tried to figure out what had given him away. "Gee, this is embarassing. I had been hoping to scope things out a bit before approaching you, but appearently that's not possible." "Oh? And what might you be doing, spying on fellow spirits in the afterlife?" "Well, so far I've been training and developing my ninjutsu skills to pass the time..." (Great Breakthrough posts 2/9)

"Hmm..." went Orchimaru, with an air of mild interest. "So, you seek to learn more about the ninja arts, even though you may never get the chance to use them? That seems rather foolish, in a way." "Umm... I guess so," Gatz said a little caught off-guard. "But there's so many great ninja masters here to learn from, with such a variety of techniques. It seems like such a waste not to take advantage of the opportunity. That, and there really isn't much else to do around here that's interesting, you know? I mean, eternity is a really long time to be sitting around doing nothing, after all..." (Great Breakthrough posts 3/9)

Orchimaru smirked and stood up from his seat to look levelly at Gatz. "That is certainly an... interesting... outllook on things. Very well then. I will constent to teach you some of the lesser tricks among my many skills. We shall start with---" Orchimaru studied his would-be student for a second. This fairly carefree, happy-go-lucky looking person didn't appear to be someone who would be very receptive---at the moment---towards so of the darker arts he knew. He'd have to start the young man off on something less gruesome, preferablily something showy that would grab his attention... (Great Breakthrough posts 4/9)
